Purchased 3 items at same time. 2 never arrived. After various emails back and forth, they wanted to refund item costs to their wallet which I refused. Again further emails and I finally was refunded items cost but not postage costs. This became a battle. I got postage refund on lower cost item after stating distance selling law, however higher postage was not returned and they kept stating that they don't refund the postage as a courier was paid! They couldn't give me courier details and stopped responding. I went to PayPal and escalated my complaint which found in my favour. This took 4 months from the date of purchase and so much stress with emails. Their terms and conditions are dubious. Do not purchase from them as you will be going round in circles and get nowhere. Disgusting company who only want to take your money and goods are still supposed to be in transit since January 2021. Buyers beware. Remember that you are fully entitled to postage refunds.
Couldn't redeem voucher, living social not interested passed me to merchant who i sent 5 emails to & no reply. Should not be allowed to trade or advertise. Should have checked all the reviews online first. Wasn't a lot of money but its disgusting to think this can be done to people.
Social living is an absolute disgrace I ordered a mattress 2 weeks before December and still I haven't had an email or anything regarding I tried to ring them on the phone numbers not working in Ireland I tried to email No customer service available and so do you tell me is this legit or not because this is ridiculous if not I want my money back
Waiting over 3Months for an order and today they issued me a credit refund without any explanation. Tried what's app and after two hours they reply with "our contact center is currently closed". Various email sent over the last few Months but no satisfaction.
Ordered a watch as part of my daughters christmas. Never arrived, cant be contacted, passing the buck from Living Social to Wowcher & vice versa. £100 lost. Well i'm not giving up on the money. Fraud investigation with my banks help. Will get the money 1 way or another & hopefully cause someone somewhere a bad day. Absolute rip off merchants. AVOID AVOID AVOID
I placed a meat order on the 25 September £30 not received or heard a word about it they got the money ok I have been trying to get customers services but can't find them anywhere near again will I be cond by this site again
Like many unfortunate hard working people I have legally been robbed. Livingsocial are a bunch of pathetic scammers.if they think I am letting them away with this they are so wrong.be very careful you bunch of filth ridden rats
Terrible customer service. I spent €80 plus and haven't received any of the goods. Livingsocial tell you to contact the merchants directly and I'm sure they know it's impossible for customers to get through to any of those companies. No comeback with livingsocial once you spend the money they don't care what happens after that. Wipe your arse with your money at least you'd know where it went
Stay away from this company, like others I have been charged for goods which have never arrived, even though I have been informed that they have. Another item which did arrive is shoddy, badly made and minus the screws and rods necessary to build it. I also paid a lot of cash for garden furniture, which the company who makes it later informed me that they do not deliver to Ireland, there is no sign of Living Social repaying my money. I have written and e-mailed Living Social and they just ignore everything. How can anyone get satisfaction from this terrible company, wish I knew!
Avoid this company. I ordered a Wi-Fi extender. It never arrived. They told me that it was with Royal Mail. They gave me other reasons why it was not delivered. All appear to be untrue. They no longer respond to my emails. They are impossible to contact. Stay away they are trouble.
Living social sold my wife a weekend break for a hotel that was closed due to Covid19. They will not refund our money, they will not talk face to face over the phone. In frustration we asked for a cred t of oyr 270 but they wont do this either... Book direct DO NOT use Living Social
Paid for a new mattress and I was in my house on 7-7-2020, I got a message to say mattress was delivered to my address but there was no delivery, pure rip off
I am so mad that I cannot get my money back. I have rung, emailed etc and not one single reply from this company. Don't get caught like me! Very stressful!
I cannot believe this company are uncontactable. DO NOT deal with this company. I having the worst experience ever! You are warned!
It's scam I am so sorry I got stuff off this site every one stay away I didn't even get a reply off this company
I ordered a personalized moon lamp on the 12th of June as a gift for someone on the 23rd of June still hasn't arrived. The delivery date said delivery on or before 2nd of June and I haven't got it. Definitely stay away from living social
OK, if you are at all like me, you may check the actual service providers website- I do this for the location and the customer reviews. Well, imagine my constant surprise when I see 42% savings, 60% savings etc etc, WHEN in fact LS jacks up the 'regular' prices and THEN offers a meager $10-$25 off... I find this disgusting and being rtaken advantage of. If you are going to offer a deal, THEN offer a deal! Not some bull$#*!! SO, I URGE EVERYONE TO DO DILIGENCE and check the service being offered website to find THE REAL PRICES! Especially when a lot of us are on furlough, out of work, suffering pay cuts, whatever...#notmelivingsocial #gfy
The people working for living social are not here to help you at all, don't care and the system is very sneaky on how they want you to use the deal bucks.
I bought a coupon on February 4th that was supposed to be valid for 120 days, but sadly Covid happened and the restaurant was closed and now my voucher has expired. These are not normal times but yet Living Social still tells me that my voucher expired and they will not give me a refund. I would suggest that you never use this company
Answer: I wouldn't recommend these people to anyone. A total nightmare. They take your money don't send the goods and they don't answer e mails
Answer: There do seem to have been some financial problems with many of the deals from Living Social. But when I had a problem they answered the phone and it was dealt with quickly and the goods resent.
Answer: Have you contacted the customer service at Livingsocial.com? I have found them to be pretty responsive in the past. This is a seperate review site.
LivingSocial is a leading "daily deal" site that sells discounted experiences and local services--restaurants, spa trips, home services, travel, etc.--via voucher. The consumer must pay for the voucher upfront, and the voucher generally must be used within a specified time period or it cannot be redeemed. To make these deals possible, LivingSocial sells merchants on its ability to help "find and keep more customers". LivingSocial is a private company based in Washington DC and its shareholders include Amazon.com.
