I had the pleasure of chatting with Maria as she assisted me in cancelling my subscription. She was quite persistent in offering an extended premium service for $4.95 as a safe guard incase my current career plans fell through. I unfortunately declined, but she was very pleasant and courteous the entire time. I will definitely revisit LiveCareer because of her customer service!

Fraud

I have used this web for one day and paid £2.85 in nov 2022. I only realised that they were taking money £16.85 from my account since December 2022. Such a fraud company I have not authorised them to take money. Pls don't use this website. I have placed complaint and waiting for their response

I was able to build a good resume. That being said, I signed up for $2.95 then to be billed $23.95 starting 14 days later. I logged into my subscription the same day that I purchased it and cancelled subscription after completing resume. I did not receive any email confirmation but thought nothing of it until I was checking bank statements and noticed a charge for $23.95 from the company. I contacted customer service via chat and was told that they never received a cancellation request and I had no proof as they do not send emails for cancellations.
The customer service person was helpful but unable to help completely resolve the issue. I got a partial prorated refund for a service I have not used since I first signed up and cancelled. Although I do not think they are trying to cheat customers I believe it is unfair when subscriptions are cancelled you have not way of knowing it went through other than the thank you received get when logging out.

Too costly

They want to charge me even if i am not using their service anymore. They refuse my refund request because of their 14 day policy, they did not notify me that they will be charging, not even sending invoice to my email saying i was charge. I had to see it on my card statement first.

Helped with Resume and Coverletter

Each step was easy and intuitive. I really appreciated the tips for wording certain items and the suggestions for how I should add more details. I feel like I have the best cover letter and resume I have ever had. It was also nice to save a few versions of my resume and cover letter as I am applying to two completely different jobs at the same time and had to cater towards each job posting. I love that I can alter the format/color super quick and easy. Hopefully I get the job and won't need to use their services. I will definitely come back if needed. I had a question about my account recently and used the chat feature on the website. I received speedy service and was satisfied with the customer service representative.

I was trying to cancel my subscription and I believe I tried to do that 4 days ago and I thought I was successful but I checked back and I wasn't. So it was on me but I was still hoping if something could be reversed because I had not used my account since I purchased the subscription, hence why I wanted to cancel it and thought I was successful. He was very understanding and still helped me get a partial refund and even offered a discounted 1 month trial for 4.95 so I can keep my account active. I thought that was very kind of him to still accommodate my issue even though I was the clumsy one here, I didn't deserve the benefits but he still offered it to me and I thought that was very kind. Value overload! Over delivered!

LiveCareer was the exact service I needed and then some. My past resume I would say was not up to par I did not how to convey my skills and experience effectively in a resume related format to get through recruiters. Live Career easy and accessible format was able to solve that problem and also other very beneficial services like custom cover letters that really do add value. I got a ton of interest from the marketplace I got several offers! And did several interviews. I got a renewed sense of confidence in myself and what I bring to the table and was really able to pick and find the right job that was aligned with we're I was trying to go in my career journey. That's exactly what happened I was able to find the perfect job for me and checked all my boxes and I'm very happy and grateful to the LiveCareer organization for the accessible pricing and format and services provided.
