Loved their updated designs for the resumes. Website was very easy to use. I couldn't get the link to work to cancel my membership within the trial period. Since my husband is out of a job and I'm looking for a new one they were gracious enough to refund the fee. I know this a choice for companies so I was pleased they had integrity to refund the money.

After I was lied to about this site helping for "free", I was extremely angry. I spent hours trying to perfect my resume and after I accepted the lie and was willing to pay because i put so much thought and hard work into it, the site receive all my information and still refused to let get access to my resume. I was happy when it came to the suggestions for resume writing. Some of those along with the different templates definitely helped me create a polished document. The only unhappiness I had was when I tried to download it in word. The spacing became crazy and there were missing letters in my words... Yes, missing letters. Thankyou!

My experience with LiveCareer was excellent. They made it easy for me to create a crisp and professional-looking resume. I continued into the paid subscription so I could utilize some of the additional benefits. I felt more confident going on interviews after having my resume updated and re-worked. Within two weeks, I found a good job and called to cancel my subscription. Customer service was great and discontinued my paid membership right-away with no problems. My use of the site was beneficial, and the most helpful aspect was the descriptive action sentences. After using the tools for a time, though, things got difficult. The wait times were long between pages, and the formatting adjustment was inaccessible in the edit window. What I had done with spacing in the edit window I could not undo, because the edit window's view showed a perfect format, when that wasn't the case. Also, the template would change to a default setting each time I went to the edit window, so I had to constantly change it back.
The customer service reps in chat should have referred me to the phone rep when they couldn't help me; instead, they just ended the chat and left me hanging. The phone rep fixed the formatting problem at her end, and explained a few things that she had done. Without the phone rep's intervention, I would had a useless resume. Thanks for listening.

However you can download a plain text version of your resume for free. To be able to use all premium futures of the service we offer customer a 14 days access for $1.95 and we indicate up front that it will auto renew after the 14 days and that it can be cancel at any time. The auto renewal is listed with the features of the 14 day subscription on the sales page, as well as on the payment and confirmation pages. We also send a payment confirmation email stating the date and amount of the auto- renewal. We do offer several ways to cancel including by phone, live chat, email and self-cancellation in your Account Settings. We are very committed to providing great customer service. Answer: This is what the site advertised: For 14 day access, $14.95, and for a year $39.80. However, signing up for ANY service aloows the site to store your payment information for further billing, and getting in touch with them, much less obtaining help is nigh impossible. After two weeks they will pull $39.80 MONTHLY from your payment method (please see my review and others on Google and yelp for further verification of this).

Answer: I had to cancel my Debit Card account with Bank of America, because the Bank refused to block LiveCareer from my account. I wonder if they are in cahoots or what? I believe a class action suit may be required so we can get our funds back.
Answer: Call your bank and change your card number Call them and let them know you have contacted your bank and will contact the better business bureau of you don't get a full refund. Then contact the better bBB and file a formal complaint. You will have a refund within a week. That's how I got my money back
