The customer service was very professional and fair. I signed up for the 14 day trial and did not cancel in that time frame. So I was billed for 4 months after the trial. The man in customer service was very nice and refunded 3 of the 4 months for me as a courtesy. I did not use the program after the 14 day trial - just forgot to cancel the membership, Cancelling the membership was very simple, just a phone call. I got an email confirmation immediately, along with my refund confirmations for the 3 months. Very good customer service.
Very useful and easy resume builder. Only complaint is the fact that I was unaware of a monthly fee since it was not made evident.

Could not use my credit card to change format of my resume for a job that I "WANT". I need the job but this is the job I really want and they wanted a different format so I could start the job soon. Alex helped me with access so that this does happen. You have a "Superstar CSR".

I first used LiveCareer for writing a cover letter, due to not having written a cover letter in the past. I found the site very easy to use. My only concern was that there was an ongoing charge for using the site, which I did not realize at the time I signed up. Since I only needed the site for a single time, I contacted customer support and they quickly removed my charges, without any hassle. I was truly expecting to have to put up a fight, but their customer service, through chat, was excellent. I will use this service again in the future.

I signed up as a college student to help get started with my resume. This website is very easy to understand and a huge help when starting out. Ive gotten 7 job offers with the resume Live Career helped me build. When it was time to delete my account it was very easy and everyone was nice and helpful!

I expected them to push back, try to keep me enrolled. My only issue is I had to call back as the first call that put me thru to the cancellation line wasn't picked up, although I could hear people talking in the background.

I called this morning to inquire about a charge posted to my account.
He explained to me that there was a membership fee. I explained to him that I didn't realize that there will be a fee if I didn't cancel before the 15 days.
He canceled my membership and refunded me for my charge.
He was a very helpful and polite young man.

I was signed up for monthly payments which i wasnt aware of. As soon as i saw that money was removed from my account i used the web chat. The advisor cancelled this membership instantly and refunded the payment that was taken out

I initially signed up for a free trial, totally misunderstanding and blindly omitting the fact that if I didn't cancel my membership, I'd be charged $29.80 monthly. However my mistake was swiftly taken care of and reversed by a representative named Alex. Excellent customer service skills, he made me feel comfortable and grateful. However you can download a plain text version of your resume for free. To be able to use all premium futures of the service we offer customer a 14 days access for $1.95 and we indicate up front that it will auto renew after the 14 days and that it can be cancel at any time. The auto renewal is listed with the features of the 14 day subscription on the sales page, as well as on the payment and confirmation pages. We also send a payment confirmation email stating the date and amount of the auto- renewal. We do offer several ways to cancel including by phone, live chat, email and self-cancellation in your Account Settings. We are very committed to providing great customer service. Answer: This is what the site advertised: For 14 day access, $14.95, and for a year $39.80. However, signing up for ANY service aloows the site to store your payment information for further billing, and getting in touch with them, much less obtaining help is nigh impossible. After two weeks they will pull $39.80 MONTHLY from your payment method (please see my review and others on Google and yelp for further verification of this).

Answer: I had to cancel my Debit Card account with Bank of America, because the Bank refused to block LiveCareer from my account. I wonder if they are in cahoots or what? I believe a class action suit may be required so we can get our funds back.
Answer: Call your bank and change your card number Call them and let them know you have contacted your bank and will contact the better business bureau of you don't get a full refund. Then contact the better bBB and file a formal complaint. You will have a refund within a week. That's how I got my money back
