I had great service! Dude apologized profusely every time he had to put me on hold for 30 sec. Max all of two times AND he got me what I needed! Hold music could be better, like classic rock or something? Still wish it was cheaper or free and didn't have to call and could cancel online if need be but Idk, these people have aimed to please and hit their target. I hope I get a job soon...

Representative was very willing to refund my account, I was surprised that I didn't have to argue. He was polite and informed me of my mistake, I missed that I was supposed to have cancelled my account in 2 weeks. Even though it was my error, he verified that I didn't access my account more than once so he credited me back the 2 payments.

When I has first signed up to make my resume it only charged a couple of dollars and said I could have access to my resume for 14 days. I thought that was a one time fee but in turn kept getting charged $30 a month.

Since I have had to redo my resume several times and create a cover letter due to recent job changes and not having knowledge of how to create these much needed documents, I've had to request help several times from the live career staff. Truth is I am not happy that I have been charged $39.80 monthly and haven't utilized the service since the initial offering. So when I called I was a little upset. But David listened to me and understand my frustration and needs. He was always positive and helpful.

Marketing of FREE 14 DAY TRIAL for "LiveCareer - Cover Letter Builder" (product) was clear, concise, and effective. Resource and services it provided, were able to address user's needs (as advertised). Disclaimers to inform customers of RECURRING AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS (following trial period) was not made clear. Disclaimer information appeared to be spread-out in separate, partial statements. If communication of this was complete and visually prominent... on sign-up window... customers would be better informed of binding agreement.

My resume wasn't totally complete Peter went directly to the problem on my resume and he fixed a few words with no hesitation. This company is not concerned or sorry about stealing money from thousands of people. They will say, "We're very sorry for your experience. Please contact us directly, blah, blah, blah." When you contact them directly, it's an even further waste of your time because they will just give you the run-around and explain that "you KNEW you were signing up for a subscription." Ummm... no, I don't think most people will pay $40 a month to be able to edit a resume. This company is a scam! Buyer beware. You will think you're only being charged $1.95 to print your resume, when in reality you are signing up for a subscription. Of course, you don't find out about the $1.95 fee until you've already spent time creating your resume. The FREE, FREE, FREE that's plastered all over their website is FALSE ADVERTISING!

Answer: Our free account gives you the opportunity to try out our resume builder before deciding to purchaser ability to print, email, or download your resume and cover letters are features included in our paid subscription and not listed as a feature of the free account. However you can download a plain text version of your resume for free. To be able to use all premium futures of the service we offer customer a 14 days access for $1.95 and we indicate up front that it will auto renew after the 14 days and that it can be cancel at any time. The auto renewal is listed with the features of the 14 day subscription on the sales page, as well as on the payment and confirmation pages. We also send a payment confirmation email stating the date and amount of the auto- renewal. We do offer several ways to cancel including by phone, live chat, email and self-cancellation in your Account Settings. We are very committed to providing great customer service. Answer: This is what the site advertised: For 14 day access, $14.95, and for a year $39.80. However, signing up for ANY service aloows the site to store your payment information for further billing, and getting in touch with them, much less obtaining help is nigh impossible. After two weeks they will pull $39.80 MONTHLY from your payment method (please see my review and others on Google and yelp for further verification of this).

Answer: I had to cancel my Debit Card account with Bank of America, because the Bank refused to block LiveCareer from my account. I wonder if they are in cahoots or what? I believe a class action suit may be required so we can get our funds back.
Answer: Call your bank and change your card number Call them and let them know you have contacted your bank and will contact the better business bureau of you don't get a full refund. Then contact the better bBB and file a formal complaint. You will have a refund within a week. That's how I got my money back
