I had opted to do my CV using their services for which I had to pay a nominal fee of $1.69 US, A month later they have debited my account in an unauthorized manner for RS 1500.
The catch is that OTP is not required for authorization on foreign websites, therefore they can use your details and schedule periodic debits without authorization and that is what they exactly did! DO NOT USE YOUR CARD ONLINE!

Debit attempts were due to a subscription of 14 days access and a monthly subscription after the 14 days access is over. When you select one of our 14 days enrollment, it provides all details on screen that after the 14th day it will auto enroll into the monthly service. It also explains, that you can cancel at any given time. This alert is also given when the credit card information is requested where it explains that, unless you cancel, you automatically authorize us to charge your account every four weeks at the current rate of the subscription. Lastly, when you finish your enrollment process, an e-mail is sent explaining this as well.

I have to say that my experience was very helpful and actually put a smile on my face. I used this website as a test by buying a cover letter. After that i had no plan using it anymore, but i was surprised that the subscription fees had been deducted from my bank account as i forgot to cancel my subscription.
So i contacted the customer service using the live chat and they were very cooperative.
They refunded the amount right away after explaining the situation!

I had a billing issue but Ana was great at helping resolve it via live chat. She was very efficient and nice; well practiced at communicating online which isn't always easy. And resolved my problem! Usually when you ask companies for refunds they can get fussy but she didn't. Thanks!

Alexis worked with me on my professional resume, on the phone, for over an hour. ~Somehow, the resume I created on MyPerfectResume, had large gaps in some parts of the resume. Alexis was very patient, reformatted the whole thing to my satisfaction~~even reducing my resume from 3 to 2 pages! He also sent me a finished copy of my finished resume to my email! Look, there are MANY resume builders out there. I wasted my entire morning with this one - billed as a "free" builder - but went to print and charged $1.95. The (hidden) charge would have been fine, but then **the formatting and font CHANGED** when I saved the resume to either Word or PDF. I was advised to save to RTF (that didn't work either - the formatting got completely screwed up)
Do yourself a favor and choose any one of the other dozens of Resume builders out there - you'll be so glad you did.

I was very pleased with my customer service experience and Enrique was very helpful, understood my situation and quickly found the resolution I was looking for. My wife had signed up for a $2 trial just to update her resume for her current employer and had no intentions of using the site to find another job, etc. She failed to cancel her subscription as she should have and Enrique confirmed that she hadn't logged in but just 4 times, all within the 14 day trial period. He stated that he could credit 3 months but there were 2 more months he'd need approval for, and he was able to get that approval within a couple of minutes. If we ever need job-searching resources, we will certainly look into using your site! Thanks for showing me that there is still great customer service out there - it means a lot.

The service, helping you to create your CV was one of the best I have come across. It gave you so many examples and samples for the individual to use, that my CV looks great! Edgar, who was the person I was chatting to on the live chat, was very helpful even when I no longer needed their service, and even though it's procedure for him to try and persuade me to stay. But overall, apart from creating my CV of which I truly didn't make full expected use of their service, but it was there for me to use at my leisure. Just didn't have the time! Overall, a very good service!

Answer: This is what the site advertised: For 14 day access, $14.95, and for a year $39.80. However, signing up for ANY service aloows the site to store your payment information for further billing, and getting in touch with them, much less obtaining help is nigh impossible. After two weeks they will pull $39.80 MONTHLY from your payment method (please see my review and others on Google and yelp for further verification of this).

Answer: I had to cancel my Debit Card account with Bank of America, because the Bank refused to block LiveCareer from my account. I wonder if they are in cahoots or what? I believe a class action suit may be required so we can get our funds back.
Answer: Call your bank and change your card number Call them and let them know you have contacted your bank and will contact the better business bureau of you don't get a full refund. Then contact the better bBB and file a formal complaint. You will have a refund within a week. That's how I got my money back
