As for writing resumes, this template worked well. However, we experienced the same issue the prior reviewer experienced. Printing a resume resulted in recurring charges of $20.55 USD/month. Then, for some reason we were charged an additional $98.26 USD during that time period. We have been charged at total of $180.46 to PRINT a resume. I had a chat conversation with Rosa Arryoyo requesting to be reimbursed for the $98.26. As she repeatedly asked me numerous questions trying to extend a monthly charge, I explained I was late for a meeting and needed to resolve the issue immediately. Again, she persisted with the questions trying to retain my business. I finally had to tell her I had to drop the chat line due to being IN a meeting. She replied that she will reimburse me 1 of the $19.95 fees (not the $98.26 I was duplicate billed) and she had no choice but to close the chat. Disappointing! No choice but to notify the bank of fraudulent charges.
A total scam. Stay clear of this Company that offer free CV's. My daughter needed a simple CV for a summer job and used their format. She discovered that she had to pay 1.95 euro to print it and we then discovered that they rolled this into a monthly subscription.
Its turned into a very expensive CV.

I attempted to contact LiveCareer after my first negative experience with their services. I requested a refund for my previous charges and asked them to cancel my account. No refund came, but I continued to be charged for their monthly services. Several chats and emails later, the subscription to services I never agreed to continue have finally canceled, but they have not told me they were issuing a refund for any of their charges. They just want your credit card info so they can continue to charge you and they make it incredibly difficult to cancel. STAY AWAY.

This website will create formatting errors on your resumes and cover letters and then "find" them to make you think their service is useful. Total SCAM, refused to offer me a refund.
I love the service, the templates, examples, and formats of Resume Now. The price is excellent for what you can do with the service to create the perfect resume. There are several ways to talk to customer service as well, and they are extremely courteous, helpful and informative.

I called and spoke with a very helpful, diligent rep by the name of Michael Rivera. I had a hard time online finding a way to enroll for a monthly plan. He advised me that I could enroll for a 14 day trial period which would cost me only $1.95, then after I could roll right into a month to month membership. I've used this product in the past and find this site to be one of the best resume builder sites out there. There are so many templates to choose from and the assistance with creating professional bullet points is so very helpful. Customer service was terrific and guided me to where I needed to go. I'm usually a stickler for reviewing terms and conditions before I sign up for something and do not remember seeing anything about the hidden fees, but maybe the panic I was in from losing my resume caused me to be careless. After being charged $65 for failing to cancel my subscription, I called customer service and was ridiculed for being stupid enough to sign up for something without reading the fine print. Literally, the rep scolded me like I was a child. I certainly learned my lesson, but any "business" that aims to make their money hoping people don't read the fine print does not deserve your patronage and should be shut down. No wonder they aren't accredited by the Better Business Bureau. Do not use this company.

I am so tired of people and their hidden fees, just make it known to consumers up front without any hidden clauses, fees, etc. Just a waist of time. You can see that you don't even get a sum or total until the very end of building your resume.

I used this website to make a resume for my college. The resume creator was super helpful and guides you every step of the way! Although, one thing to watch out for is that there will be a recurring cost eventually, so keep an eye out for that!

With the help of their resume and cover letter tools I got multiple interview requests and job offers. Whether that was due to the help of their product or just my overall awesomeness, who knows?!;-) Subscription is a little pricey but worth it for a month or two. They clearly state that you will be enrolled in reoccurring monthly payments when you sign up, so be mindful of that. When you want to cancel, just live chat with them and it's a simple process. Alejandro and Andres were very helpful both times I live chatted. They offered reduced pricing to keep me from cancelling (as low as $4 a month for life). Very temping. Would use again but hopefully I won't need to. B-)

Answer: This is what the site advertised: For 14 day access, $14.95, and for a year $39.80. However, signing up for ANY service aloows the site to store your payment information for further billing, and getting in touch with them, much less obtaining help is nigh impossible. After two weeks they will pull $39.80 MONTHLY from your payment method (please see my review and others on Google and yelp for further verification of this).

Answer: I had to cancel my Debit Card account with Bank of America, because the Bank refused to block LiveCareer from my account. I wonder if they are in cahoots or what? I believe a class action suit may be required so we can get our funds back.
Answer: Call your bank and change your card number Call them and let them know you have contacted your bank and will contact the better business bureau of you don't get a full refund. Then contact the better bBB and file a formal complaint. You will have a refund within a week. That's how I got my money back
