Faulty fan

I ordered a pretty looking fan (butterfly wings) for my kids' room. It arrived in a month, as expected, although I didn't know it was being shipped from China. I would have not ordered if I knew where it was coming from. Anyway, I had a handyman try to install it, we open the instructions, and they are in Chinese! They try, and after hours of figuring out the wiring, the fan comes on for a few seconds and then turns off. The thing won't work! They supposedly have 24/7 support online, but only for sales! The support is only through email!

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. We ordered a set of shelves: of the 20 wood pieces that arrived, 16 of them were chipped. When assembled, they also looked nothing like the image online. When asking customer service for a full refund, they had the audacity to tell us that they'd refund the price of the product but that we were responsible for all shipping fees both to and from our home – even though the product they sent us should have never left their warehouse in the first place (despite their claim on the website that they have thorough QA checks for all of their products before they leave their facilities). This company absolutely sucks. Spend the extra $50 at Ikea or Target, trust me: it's worth it.

I ordered a wall mount 47" sink. Took about 5 weeks to get to me. They left it outside my front door and when I opened the box, the sink was broken into pieces. I contacted the company (you can only contact them through email) and they refused to give me my money back. They told me I could ship the sink back at my expense TO CHINA and when they received it they would give me a partial refund. I contacted my bank to dispute the charges and Litfad sent documentation which said I confirmed the sink was fine at delivery. I wasn't even here when they left it at the front door! TERRIBLE COMPANY! I will never buy anything from them again.

Ordered a really cool desk from Litfad. It took 6 weeks to be delivered and when it showed up the packaging was ripped and torn and crumpled. After opening the packages the entire desktop was cracked. Also other components were also cracked and scratched. No assembly instructions were included. (I was told they are "not ready yet"!)
I contacted them via email and they said they would send me a new desktop in 5 - 6 weeks time. I let them now other pieces were damaged, the hardware box was ripped open and I have no instructions to assemble. I asked they pick up the desk and refund my money. All they kept saying is we'll send a new top even though other pieces were damaged. They refused to acknowledge that the entire desk as delivered is unusable. They refused to pick up the desk and said I would have to pay to send it back to CHINA! They did offer my a % off to keep it even though I told them is UNUSEABLE! Why would I keep it?
I was forced to contact my CC company and dispute the charge. DO NOT ORDER FROM LITFAD!

Ordered and paid by PayPal on 1st May for a Hall Hanging rail. No sign of delivery yet. Wish I'd have known it was going to take so long as have now had to buy another one from a reputable British company. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Will it ever arrive? Other reviews don't give me much hope.

If I could give this place negative reviews I would. I wish I had looked up reviews but the website sucks you in making you think this is a well-put-together, reputable company.

They don't do refunds, products arrive damaged and the boxes look like they have been through hell and back. Let me repeat, NO REFUNDS EVEN IF PRODUCT ARRIVES BROKEN OR DAMANGED...all they do is try to offer you like a 5% discount and resend the product which is such bull$#*! since all of their stuff arrives like they've been run over by cars.

Oh and, the icing on the cake - it's all CRAP FROM CHINA...complete waste of money, I wasted $1k on their cheap products and that's money I'll never get back.

Just put a Dispute qith my credit Card company. For $2k they send desk absolutely nothing like advertisement and No instructions and the Box was Torn Apart, Scratched and Totally Damaged Product. I wish I could warn enough people to not touch this Website with a 100ft Pole.
And don't get me started on the customer service. There is NONE!

Delivered the product completely damaged and missing parts. They will not respond to your email if you tell them that you are not happy with the product. It's a Chinese fraud company. Stay away from them.

Crap from China

A one-star rating is extremely generous! They don't deserve a single star.

I ordered two items concurrently from them in the last six months. One arrived before the other, and that was a small blessing. The item that arrived was a small white, 3-drawer cabinet for my home office. As I recall, it cost about $125. First off, it took weeks to get to me. The reason is that everything from Litfad comes from China. And it's a slow boat from China (as the saying goes). When it finally arrived, I opened the box to find that the assembly instructions were 100% in Chinese...not a stitch of English or any other second language. No photos either, just the worst drawings you can imagine. In essence, they were worthless.

Next, the materials were absolute crap -- 1/2" pressboard (already damaged on certain pieces from shipping) and the cheapest drawer hardware known to man. Once assembled, the drawers wouldn't stay on their tracks due to the 'aluminum foil' metal used for the sliders, making them completely useless.

The good news in all this is that seeing the 'craps-manship' of the product, I cancelled the second and more expensive part of my order. Litfad Customer Support (hahahahaha!) told me I couldn't cancel "because the product had already been shipped (not said, but clearly from China)." I told them I wouldn't accept the delivery. I then called my credit card company and cancelled the second part of my order/charge with them. I was immediately credited.

Before the second product arrived, I spoke with my regular FedEx delivery guy and told him to be on the lookout for a 41 lb. box from China coming my way and send it back to the sender. And that's exactly what happened.

LESSONS LEARNED: 1) DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM LITFAD; 2) STOP BUYING AS MUCH AS YOU CAN FROM CHINA! The Chinese hate Americans anyway.

Let's cut-off their revenue stream and BUY AMERICAN...or literally from anyone else!

This is a faceless, drop ship from China, super slow delivery, fast but terrible customer service and solution company. The product they shipped was misrepresented and damaged. They offered a 5% refund for the unusable light. I wrote back several times and they kept increasing the amount of the refund by 5% until we got to a 40% refund. They'd offer a refund if I shipped it back, but the shipment would be as much as I paid for the product. You're trapped.

Chairs arrived after a month pretty much as advised at time of ordering. Box was battered but chairs weren't damaged at all. No fitting instructions but easy to build. The chairs are very comfortable and exactly what we wanted. Probably not really worth the £280 for the pair but there wasn't anything else online coming up at such a cheap price. Overall am very happy with the purchase.

Beware, The websites states you have 60 days to return products. However, they DO NOT TAKE return items. I waited 6 weeks for my lights. The lights were described as high end however they were cheap plastic. When they arrived within the hour I contacted Liftad to state I wanted to return the lights. I was told they would not take the lights back. I have ordered many thinks over the year never left bad feed back.

We ordered 4 outdoor wall lamps. After initial contact to send an alternative postal address (instead of PO Box) the tracking number provided by Litfad showed the parcel going to a completely different person/address (Victoria instead of WA). No contact possible other than chat on website, which was no help at all, because all they replied was writing an email to support (which they did not answer).
After threatening with legal action, they replied with the same tracking numbers (which were also in a completely different receiver name).
I engaged Consumer Protection WA, but even they only got the same tracking number.

The box arrived looking terrible. As I opened it was a huge mess 75% of the board had a chip, broken - including the top-main board. The instructions were in chinese, the screws did not had a grab and they are all exposed. My brother which builds furniture for living, mentioned the worst quality he has seen. Customer service got back to me with promesses never followed through. They have great idea but it is by far the worst one i could find!

I spent a lot of money on a desk. I ordered from Litfad without doing any pre checks - I wish I had though! The desk arrived without any frame or legs. It's basically useless. I would tend to agree with people that the company is a scam. They are based in china so now I have the horrendous task of trying to sort out getting the other parts or trying to get a refund.

Litfad is cheap

After waiting for 6 weeks I've got my order with all fixtures and hardwares. Some boards are dented. It's nothing close to website photos and descriptions. After a lot of communication, they say I have to send back my order to China if I want to return. Absolute waste of money. This company is total fraud

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! This company is a scam! It is not one star, but ZERO! In a couple of months, they will send to you an item that will be scary to even install. You won't be able to get your money refunded in an easy way, not from PayPal or from your bank. You will be asked to send it back to warehouse in China at your own cost (approx. $100)! I have no desire to go into details with my case, just wanted to warn everybody who thinks these deals on the site are attractive. LitFad is a total scam! Keep your money and save your time.

I do not even want to give it 1 star. They never sent me the whole order in 120 days and 100+ emails to *******@litfad.com. They do not even send me the instructions and ask me to start the installation with the partial order and when I find the missing part, they say they will ship in 4-6 weeks, and then if I find another missing part, they will ship in another 4-6 weeks, etc,. Never place an order through Litfad. They simply DO NOT care once you place the order.
