Late shipment and damaged furniture and they don't accept any refund returns. STAY AWAY from them, very cheap quality with no customer service. CHINESE FURNITURE SUCKS
The packaging was real bad, almost all parts are damaged by the time I recieved the package. The instruction is one page and doesn't match the product, so I basically used the picture on the website to assemble the product. When I try to contact customer support, they basically block me so I can't do anything or review.
Ordered shelving unit, received in one month with missing attachments. Took 2 months to receive them and were wrong size. Refund denied, only 20% credit offered. Missing pieces took another 2 months and are wrong size again. Screws also missing. Emails responded by computer not real person. Quality poor.
Get ready for the ol' switcheroo with Litfad!. Looks great online with a lux gold finish, then you get mailed a similar-looking, lower priced item with a gaudy yellow sparkle finish. I contacted customer service to report the product as misrepresented, but they plainly say there are no returns. I can't believe this company can be all over Google with their fraud.
When you visit the Litfad website you are greeted with glossy pictures of furniture that you think will look nice in your home. I was enticed thinking that all prices are in GBP the website gives no indication that its actually some dreadful outfit in China.In addition the website fails to mention that its going to take months for your order to arrive and that when it does eventually get delivered, it will be so smashed up and unusable, your only option is to request a full refund.
Then they play games offering 10,20 and 30 and even 40% refund after you refuse to accept their "gracious offer" of 40% and bonus, you get to keep your smashed up cheap S**T they have delivered you.
Its a con, close your browser tab move away from Litfad as fast as you can and clear your browser cache.
Read all the reviews of horror stories other victims like myself have similar experience. An average of 1 star should tell you all you need to know. Avoid Avoid and Avoid, you will save your money and get better quality elsewhere.
That's even too high. I ordered a light that was listed as having "third gear dimming". A made up term that they don't bother to explain anywhere on their site. Silly me thought it meant a light with dimming capabilities. Wrong - It's a circus light that changes the light color and tone every time you flip the switch. I wanted a warm hue (which I checked off as well). This goes from warm to cool to standard lighting. My room looks horrendous with 2 out of the 3 color options. It's absurd. Why would anyone want a light that does this? But don't try to return it! Customer service is a joke. In no way do they care if their customers are happy. An absolute garbage company and I want to be sure everyone knows it!
By far the worst place I've ever shopped from!
I read their return policy before splurging a few thousand pounds on furniture. Their website clearly states that, if you aren't satisfied with the products, you have 60 days to get a refund, minus shipping fees. Their products are so cheap looking and much smaller than stated. I asked for a return as soon as I received them and to my surprise they are not willing to adhere to their policy! They have been playing games and denying me of my right to return the unsatisfactory products. They have no phone services and no manager to talk to! Just a random email every now and then, stating that they don't offer returns. And when I refer them to their policy, they still say they don't offer returns! This is scam for sure and I want everyone to know what they'll be dealing with if they ever decide to shop from Lotfad!
Product took ages, arrived completely damaged. Quality was terrible. Customer care not bothered. Would not refund and then expected me to pay shipping fees back to CHINA.
Complete waste of money and time.
Do not buy from this company! Scammers. Broken product. Refused to send replacement without charging for shipping both ways. Would not refund my money as an alternative. I did not research them, unfortunately, and I normally do for companies I don't know. Hoping everyone else does!
Item ordered June 27 and not received as of July 9. Litfad "Chat" responded to my inquiry that item is on a boat and expected to arrive in September. I asked for order to be canceled, and Litfad responded that orders may not be canceled once shipped. Currently am trying to get a refund through Paypal.
Paid $135 for a ceiling light that, according to the photos, show its lens rotated to direct light toward ceiling. After receiving the (broken) light, its lens was fixed downward. I emailed them and they indicated the light lens couldn't be rotated to face upward, even though three photos on the product page clearly show it facing up. After TWENTY emails with them, they wore me down, refusing to replace with an alternate product, refusing to replace unless I shipped it back (which costs almost $60 back to China) and kept trying to offer me 5% and 10% credits to keep the light. What the hell am I supposed to do with a bent light that is internally cracked? The box it shipped in is a joke and I wouldn't trust to ship something across town let alone the planet. This is a $10 light in a $1 box. It's worth noting it also isn't UL listed and even if it did work, judging by the weight, would overheat and fail in a month.
Awful company stay away even if it looks like what you want STAY AWAY.
The item was crap and damaged, not worth the $. No refunds. No help. They offered a 20% refund IF I shipped the item back at my own expense (overseas). Um, hello. Definitely do not patronize this business. They don't have phones, either. All communication via email.
THERE IS NOTHING REPUTABLE ABOUT THIS COMPANY. THEY SELL CHEAP PRODUCTS THAT DO NOT LOOK LIKE THE PHOTOS. THEY LIED TO ME EVEN WHEN I ASKED ABOUT THE MATERIAL OF A COFFEE TABLE TELLING ME IT WAS STONE WHEN IT WAS CHEAP WOOD WITH A LAMINATE. THEY EVEN HAD THE ITEM THEY SENT ME ON THEIR WEBSITE FOR $100 CHEAPER THAN WHAT I PAID FOR THE 'STONE' COFFEE TABLE. AFTER 5 WEEKS MY ITEM ARRIVED AND WHEN I QUESTIONED THEM VIA EMAIL THEY ACTED ALL INNOCENT LIKE A MISTAKE WAS MADE AND OFFERED ME A 10% DISCOUNT. THEN THROUGH EVERY EMAIL THERE WAS 10% ADDED TO THE DISCOUNT AT A CAP OF 40%. I WAS STILL PAYING MORE THAN WHAT THE WOOD LAMINATE COFFEE TABLE WAS LISTED ON THEIR WEBSITE. THEY THEN GAVE ME THE OPTION OF RETURNING THE TABLE T CHINA AT MY EXPENSE AND THEY WOULD DEDUCT THE SHIPPING COSTS FROM THE REFUND THEY WOULD ISSUE. THEY WOULD NOT TELL ME HOW MUCH THEY WOULD DEDUCT OR WHAT SHIPPING WOULD COST MEANING THEY COULD GIVE ME BACK WHATEVER THEY FEEL LIKE AND STILL KEEP A NICE PROFIT. TRUE SCAMMERS! ONCE I OPENED A DISPUTE WITH PAYPAL AND GAVE ALL THE PHOTOS AND EMAILS AND DOCUMENTATION THERE TUNE CHANGED. I WAS CONTACTED BY A 'VIP' SUPPORT EMAIL AND IT WAS VERY EMPATHETIC AND ASKING ME TO CLOSE THE DISPUTE SO THEY COULD ISSUE A REFUND. YEAH RIGHT ANOTHER SCAM FROM THIS STUPID COMPANY. I AM GOING THROUGH A PAYPAL DISPUTE NOW WHICH IS NOT IDEAL BUT IM FAIRLY CONFIDENT GOING OFF OTHER REVIEWS AND CASES ON REDDIT I SHOULD GET A FULL REFUND.
Stay away of this company! 1.5 months delivery. Received book shelf very sloppily packed and with large dents and attritions. They refused to fully refund (started from 5% to bargain). My order with them #*******. Disgusting!
Long delivery and I paid express delivery... Table received was nothing like the listing showed. Terrible quality. They charged around $250 and the table worth maybe $20. Raised issue as unhappy & item not as described. They immediately offer refund 5% then 10%, because I keep insisting. They argued sending back the table will be expensive e and at my cost. At the end they returned $46 and they never refund the express delivery cost (The table came after 6 weeks). TERRIBLE! Stay away from them. Fraud big time.
I've never seen that bad quality of furniture. Have you ever had Ikea furniture - so it's a business class furniture comparing with a pile of trash I got. And price 5 time more expensive (I payed about $1100 for my bookshelf).
First of all the package was poorly packed so all edges were broken, most of the panels of my bookshelf were dented or cracked, in some panel was color leak, glass fixed to doors with a cord and popped nails. The quality of doors you can see from attached pictures - awful. Color is not as in the website: glossy, the kind of wood comes from 50th. Every little details here were unacceptable quality. Random number of screws (not enough to assemble).
The instruction looks more like just a pic with and without doors, but it is not for my bookcase I ordered (I have wider).
I did not get a regular assemble instruction even after contacting with a seller - they just have what they have.
The seller is very responsive. He will talk to you and offer to send more of this garbage. He does all to not to give your money back even in dispute with your credit card organization. They pretend it's not a scam company but it is. You won't be able to return anything, because using any US delivery services it will be super expensive to send it back to China. Keep in mind in case of return you will have to pay for both directions (from China to US and back).
So, never buy anything from their website!
Ordered two lights, one was smashed into pieces (the glass was also paper thin and loose wires sent with it to put together yourself - dangerous!) they then take you through a process - you can send it back to China at your own expense (yes all the broken glass and plastic, even though I sent pics) or they will send a replacement for part of the broken item but not all (so not all of the broken parts) or refund you part of the payment after shipping. AS this was was only viable way to get any money back, I got £9 back on a £35 item. If you read the reviews you will see they do this to alot of people, so they are definitely doing well out of this process. You are better off paying a little extra and going elsewhere.
There should be a zero star category. I bought three items totaling thousand of dollars (large furniture). ALL ITEMS were INCORRECT, MISSING PARTS AND DAMAGED. They said that I must ship the goods back to CHINA on my own dime to get a refund! They sent me the incorrect damaged items and I have to PAY? RUN FOR YOU LIVES FROM THSI TERRIBLE CHINESE COMPANY!
The chair I received is not what is ordered. Completely different from what i was expecting. Color, Fabric, Cushion, Stitching and tightness does not match the product description. Additionally, chair rocking legs were missing from the package. The chair is very very cheap. This is unacceptable.
Answer: Litfad is a scam company. Their website products are 3-D images. The intention is to deceive customer. Their return policy is designed to force the product on customers. Imagine the cost of shipping a bucky product to China, which is more expensive than the product cost.
