This is the worse supply office that i have ever dealt with[ and i am 82 yrs old]the staff is very is so untrained. I have been calling to their office continuously, practically every week from day one almost a year that i have dealt with them.it would take me 3 pages of paper to write every thing that i am experiencing. The latest. Being. I finally got a carry with concentrater after monkeying around for months first time i used it message comes on saying { system hot" and it was. Called office and they said i was holding it to close to my body, which in fact i was carryiing it like a suit case,, no where near my body. Changed batteries, took it out today. Same thing happens. Have to curtail my outing and come home. The thing was so hot it almost burned your hand, answering service gets a hold of supervisor, and me almost sreming muy head off, demanded the bring out some tanks so i could leave the house... so upsetjust one thing after another

This is the company that has the ONLY contact with Medicare. They have no competition and no accountability. They over charge, send the wrong medicine and add services for those on Medicare knowing there is no choice and their patients are too elderly and sick to do anything about it. They are impossible to fight. If you do not pay them for their fraudulent charges, you get NOTHING through Medicare.

Lincare sent a $153 antibiotic dose to my mother that was incorrect and it cannot be returned or used by my mother. It was Lincare's fault, yet they are demanding payment for the incorrect medication before sending her any more treatments.

In addition, Lincare charges $20 per day "perdiem" ($600 per month) for the pharmacy to mix the dosages she needs everyday. Medicare says they will not pay for the $20 per diem because she is not in the hospital. When she was in the hospital the "per diem" was paid for by Medicare for the same exact medicine.

My mother will now have to go back to the hospital because she is not getting the correct medicine and now her infection is out of control. In addition, she can no longer afford the $20 per day "per diem" being charged by Lincare that Medicare will not cover when she takes the same exact medicine at home.

Instead of Medicare paying $600 per day for my mothers dosage to be delivered at home, the taxpayer will now pick up the Medicare tab for her to be hospitalized for months until her infection is resolved. If Lincare had sent the correct medication to my mother and Medicare covered the $20 per diem daily charge for the medicine, she would have her infection under control and could save the system thousands of dollars by staying out of the hospital.

The American taxpayers dollars are not being spent in a logical or efficient manner. People are not recieving the correct treatment to keep the out of the hospital either. This is what happens when the government is in charge of healthcare. Lincare is the kind of fraud, waste and abuse that needs to be eliminated to stop wasting taxpayers money.

For those advocating for single payer healthcare, look no further than Lincare to what you can expect with no choice and zero accountability.

Sucks!
April 10, 2017

I've been holding for 25 mins. To a recording that says that they appreciate my time and patience. Well they both have run out. If you care to speak to someone, dont' hold your breath! Or make sure your CPAP is nearby.

Avoid this company!
April 6, 2017

They have the worst customer service!
After failing to tell me we needed a doctor's note to discharge oxygen use, they charged me for a full month of service which we did not use.
After staying on hold more than 5 times at over 30 minutes each, I finally was able to convince them to issue a refund. Was told I would receive the refund within 5-7 business days. When this failed to happen, I had to call them AGAIN and was on hold for close to 15 minutes at which time they told me I should actually be receiving a check in the mail.
Avoid this company if at all possible!

After answering with a loud sigh, I was told by their billing department that they couldn't stay on the phone with me all day and that a billing supervisor wouldn't speak to me. I emailed their executive customer care twice and haven't heard back from them. I would rate my experience up there with going to the Post Office, BMV, or the dentist!

I have limited choices of Cpap supplies therefore use Lincare. After 3 months they were supposed to file a purchase claim to my insurance. Still, 14 months later, they haven't done so. My insurance won't pay monthly rental and Lincare won't file to let me purchase. They are charging me monthly rental since my insurance won't pay rental. They obviously don't want the machine to be purchased as they would lose their rental money. I am nearly $40 out of pocket every month. Attempts to call are frustrating, after 15 minutes on hold, twice now, they have disconnected the call. On hold again. They obviously don't want the equipment to be purchased therefore the reason they are not cooperating with the insurance company.
BUY online, that will be my next step if I can't get Lincare to do their job.

Customer Service
March 28, 2017

Unfortunately, we have had an issue with LinCare for last few months when my account went on hold. The local LinCare could not tell us why the account was on hold and my wife has been calling them to get it resolved. We finally got a hold of someone at the main office who figured it out whether quickly why LinCare place the account on hold as LinCare dispensed CPAP supplies without a prescription which they should have caught. A simple phone call to my provider would have yielded a valid prescription. Even though my annual visit produced a valid prescription since January 2017. LinCare is not doing anything to help. Very bad service.

I went to the local Lincare office in January 2016 because I could get no answer to my numerous telephone calls to the office. As of February 2017 I still was not signed up for automatic delivery of my CPAP supplies. And today, March 24,2017 I received a Medicare statement regarding payment of tubing dated February 4,2016. They are disorganized, non-responsive, and inefficient. Customer service is an oxymoron to them. I wish i had known that there was a vehicle for reviews BEFORE I got involved with them.

I am an oxygen patient. I have now left 2 messages. One with a live person and one on a machine. I need new cannulas and a new charger for my portable oxygen concentrator. Kind of important don't you think? Been over two weeks and no call back. They were very good a couple years ago when I switched to them. They immediately called and delivered what you needed. Unbelievable! Oxygen is not something you can go without!

Absolutely ATROCIOUS customer service! TRY to get them to pick up, or service their equipment once they deliver more than enough apparatus to provide oxygen to an entire hospital. I had to call Medicare and do a three-way call with them, but even then, they promised to pick-up, and never showed up! Dawn at Lincare in Cherry Valley, MA is a rude, (fill in the blank here). Hey, Dawn? Tell your boss that Medicare told me to call them back if you didn't pick up, because they are not paying any more bills from you for my equipment... =p phhht. And people? If you have an issue with Lincare, try calling Medicare - Medicare is more than happy to get involved if you have an issue like mine with this crappy company! And if you have any questions with regard to my issue, please feel free to contact me - of all companies I've dealt with LINCARE IN CHERRY VALLEY, MASSACHUSETTS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST! AVOID LINCARE LIKE THE PLAGUE!

This company will lie cheat intimidade or anything else they can do to get some more medicare money. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING FROM THEM! They should be investigated for fraud and closed down. I can't get them to leave me alone or take their stupid device out of my house. I am looking for a lawyer now and have already reported them to Medicare. You should do the same if they are harassing you!

No supplies
March 3, 2017

Supposedly I should be getting 2 filters and 2 replacement nasal pillow replacements. I've had my CPAP machine since September and I've only gotten supplies once. Every time I call again they tell me my doctor isn't sending in the paperwork needed to get the supplies. I was just at the doctor's office last week and the receptionist said she faxed the paperwork numerous times. Lincare is outright lying to me. The doctor's office sent the paperwork in AGAIN. I called Lincare again and they won't acknowledge my calls, or call me back. I've. Had bronchitis and a sinus infection since not getting my supplies. This is NOT good. This place is supposed to help people stay well not do things that make them sick!

I fired this company today. I had no sleep. Broken concentrator but no one answered the after hours call. SOMEONE forgot to turn it the phones over. It happens. Guy said it will be nearly 2 hours... NO oxygen and 78% NO standard of Care. He finally arrived very late... SICK already from no oxygen and left a machine that did not work. We both had to call in sick. FIRED

Read every word, every paragraph, every page. This company, after they screw you, will say this to your complaint: "But you SIGNED the authorization. You should have read it." They KNOW they are misleading customers.
My husband's doctor said that Lincare would take his insurance to PURCHASE a CPAP machine. So he went there, they said the insurance would take care of everything, and he brought his machine home.
Now we are getting bills that say our "rental" is due on his machine. He never rented anything. He thought his insurance was covering the PURCHASE of the machine because he had met his deductible. He has now told Lincare to come get the machine. More run around. Also, they said they CALLED us to tell us to pay a bill. We never received a bill until today. We asked why we had never received a bill and the answer was, "Well, we called you."
Short story: This company makes it sound so easy, just sign here and your CPAP is going home with you. We'll contact the insurance for you. But that's not what happens. The customer service (term used loosely) rep will say, "Oh. Well. We only do rent-to-own." WHAAAAT? After several calls and "blow offs" my husband finally got them to agree to come get the machine.

My husband was forced to switch to lincare and it's been one disaster after another. Wrong equipment, no record sent to supplier asvto what Catutmet set us up for, guess work by discription of supplies and wrong supplies sent. Multiple calls to Local offices but they are extremely unhelpful passing the buck. Speaking of " bucks", this company seems to be a moneymaker for someone. The local offices in Fall River And Catumet are disgustingly unkept hole in the wall set ups waiting to close shop over night I feel. I've been eating over 6 weeks for supplies promised for 3-5 business days. I don't know why Medicare has dropped the professional companies we were in. I am calling the BBB and Atty. General to file a complaint.

We deal with Fall River Lincare. I have been hung up on and told they have no way to see if my sister was on their list for delivery or not. They also would say they were checking on the courier and never come back to the phone. My sister needs her tanks to go to the doctor and the courier never came and I was told the order I called in on Monday 13 th was never put in. We have been waiting for 6 months to replace the concentrator we purchased from them 6 yrs ago and to get her a concentrator she can carry. They keep saying the doctor has not sent the orders and I had her other doctor send orders and they still say they never get the orders. Lastly the doctors office was told she was in a donut hole which only applies to medication not medical equipment. Why hasn't medicare gotten rid of this company. They are liars and frauds. That's where all our medicare fraud is.
