I have been with LinCare for many many years. It first started out with billing. They was over charging me and Medicare. I ended up having to call Medicare to fix it they wouldn't, The office staff is very rude and seems very uncaring. They don't send my c pap supplies ever on time, If u can find somewhere else u would b better off.

POOR SERVICE
October 11, 2018

They let my patient go 9 days after discharging without any nutrition for her peg tube feedings. They said they could not get the insurance authorized and the patient has three of the best insurances. She has Medicare, BC secondary and Tricare for a third. This is the worst place I have ever dealt with.

If i request something to be done, nothing happens. I have to keep bugging them until it is accomplished, Recently they gave me a defective portable osygen machinethat ruined a reunion i attended. Now they say they must send this machine to their warehouse for repair and won't give me a backup machine--i have to wait for the defective one to be repaired. Meanwhile, what do i do if oxygen is needed. Avoid this company if you can

Approximately one year ago my account for CPAP supplies with Home Health was "sold" to LinCare. I was with Home Health since 2013. When I ordered supplies from Home Health they were in my hands within two days almost every time and for sure in three days.
Since the account change I have ordered supplies twice from Lin Care. The first time took nearly three months as I called a few weeks after the initial order and was told they had no order on file. This happened twice = about 1.5 months of waiting. The third time I called to "re-order for the lost order" I was actually sent some supplies 2 weeks later. The order was not the supplies I had requested and I managed to take them to the local store and exchange them. I thought the whole thing was probably just confusion caused by the transfer of the account.

I guess I was wrong as about five weeks ago I re-ordered. Again, after waiting two weeks, I called to check on the order. This time I was told there was an issue with my prescription needing to be renewed. As I was told that, I had a copy of my prescription in my hand I had gotten from the local store. It stated that prescription was good for 99 years. After trying to get someone to tell me why a new prescription was needed and getting no answer, I finally agreed to waiting two more weeks while that prescription was received by Lin Care.

Again, I waited 2 weeks + a few days before calling to check on my order. Again, I was told there was no order on file. I reordered again and am now waiting ten days for the order to be filled (that's two more weeks so we're looking at over two months I've been waiting on this latest order.

I have no understanding of what the issue is in spite of spending several hours on the phone with the representatives of this company. I don't have high hopes at this point.

2018 and 2 nebulizers later: Not only poor quality equipment, the Boston, MA outfit is staffed by rude, nasty people, each one of whom deserves to be fired. Needing a nebulizer tha works is NOT an option.

The 1st nebulizer lasted 6 months. The 2nd one lasted 2 months. It was not my choice to have to need this equipment. Will be filing complaint with MA Gov. Shortly. The current situation is "It's your problem until we can deliver it tomorrow afternoon."

This is about BREATHING.

Do not use this business
September 28, 2018

Lincare has failed to send equipment, failed to obtain timely authorizations, and sent the incorrect CPAP equipment. They have stated they did not receive a physicians order, then stated they received it, and followed up by sending the wrong equipment. I offered to drop off the incorrect equipment at their office. The Lincare office refused to assist, wanted me to follow up without their assistance, and then hung up the phone. Run the other way. Lincare is incompetent.

Lincare twice sent me CPAP supplies I didn't order. I returned the 2nd set with their Authorization but they continued to bill me from Feb 2018 until Sept 2018, sending collection notices and ignoring the account adjustments their billing dept staff told me they corrected. Wrote certified letters to their CFO and Natl Healthcare Svcs Mgr but got no response at all. Called again 9/25/18 and supervisor Jennifer Harrison said the correction was done 6/20/18 but 'never approved by a manager'. She told me they approve adjustments based on age of item and 'their budget', and i believe that Lincare willfully overships suppllies and ignores credits in order to boost their financial reports. They certainly have no concern whatsoever for customer service. I've filed complaints w/BBB and my health insurer about them.

It took two months to get my information transferred from Lincare in Rochester, MN to Lincaare, Nashville, TN and a dozen phone calls and emails. Doesn't the company know about fax machines. Snail mail would have been only a few days. Then the Nashville office never sent me any supplies. No filters, nothing!

Medicare told me I didn't have to use them for my supplies even though my machine came from them. I switched to Hometown Respiratory, a division of Aerocare and have received very good service. They call me on a regular basis to see if I need supplies.
You don't have to stay with lincare if you have already made the mistake!

For two years I have been going through Hell with this co. It was first recommended by the MGH a prestigious hospital in Boston! They are totally incompetent. Do not use them ever. I thought after even speaking with supervisors at MGH and women at the office repeatedly I could maybe work with them as I am a reasonable man and willing to give people a chance it all came to naught- in fact matters got worse: My wife needed O2 deliveries and when I called they were hardly ever on the same day they said- they would even confirm the man was coming and he would come two days later only after my intervention several times. They wanted to push it off for another week I explained this is Oxygen, not pizza delivery! Over the two year period I have developed a heart condition keeping everything about lincar from my wife who was critical. She died this week!
I called Lincar and asked to have the equipment picked up- which equip. Was only gotten with great stress and in shabby condition and had to be replaced ( the oxygen machine which sounded like a machine shopwhen running). Well, a man came I waited for three days and whe he came he could not fit he equip. On his truck and had to call for help! I had told two girls about every item needed to be returned! So in all, forget this co. I am calling several lawyers for the stress which may have contributed to my heart condition Sincerely Mr. T. in Melrose Ma Thank you all..

My experience as a POTENTIAL CUSTOMER has been with the Scottsbluff, Nebraska office. (It's my opinion) IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: AGGRAVATION, FRUSTRATION, INCOMPETENCE, UN-PROFESSIONAL OFFICE STAFF, A TOTAL LACK OF COMMUNICATION WITH YOU, UN-RELIABLE INFORMATION, A TOTAL LACK OF TRUST ON YOUR PART, AND AN OVERALL UNBELIEVABLY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE THEN BY ALL MEANS LINCARE IS ABSOLUTELY THE COMPANY YOU WANT TO HANDLE YOUR MEDICAL SUPPLIES! Contrary to what you may have heard here in the Gering / Scottsbluff, Nebraska area... YOU DO HAVE OTHER OPTIONS / CHOICES IN OUR AREA FOR YOUR NEEDED MEDICAL SUPPLIES! PLEASE talk to your physician BEFORE making this decision and / or do your research like I did. YOU ABSOLUTELY DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE MAJOR STRESS COMPLICATIONS ADDED TO YOUR HEALTH PROBLEMS FROM LINCARE. MY CHOICE HAS BEEN TO SIGN UP WITH A REPUTABLE LOCAL COMPANY... YOU CAN TOO! I GIVE THEM A RATING OF A MINUS 10! BEWARE LINCARE IS A DANGER TO YOUR HEALTH! (and then I started reading all these other reviews... OMG HOW CAN LINCARE EVEN BE IN BUSINESS... SO GLAD I CHOSE A DIFFERENT LOCAL COMPANY)

They were 3hrs late dropping off a hospital bed. Then when it was time to have it picked up I had to schedule the pickup 3 days out, they wouldn't even give me a time. They said we'll be there between 8-5pm, I said that's worse then the cable company! So I had to rearrange my entire day, reschedule doctor's appointment and my daughter's physical and occupational therapy. Then they call the day of and say sorry the driver took the wrong van we're not coming. I said that is unacceptable so she said fine it'll be sometime after 5pm, I said ok, didn't have much choice. About 10-15min later am extremely rude lady called. She kept interrupting me after I told her it has to be picked up today because rearranged my entire schedule to accommodate their ridiculous pickup times, not to mention any longer and I'd be charged another month and the day they wanted to come was the day all the appointments got moved to. I told them no it has to be today and she said tough. I immediately got on the phone with corporate who was disgusted by the times or lack there of that I was given but also the rude disrespectful representative that I had the pleasure to speak with. She immediately contacted them and assured me they would be here and if they didn't to call them back Monday. She said it will be after 5pm. It's now 6:30, spoke with the after hours people and they have no clue when he'll be here. This is ridiculous! I will never go through them again and I'm telling EVERYONE about my experience. They are rude and obviously don't know how to manage a business. Time to replace everyone at this location! I have never had such rude service and a complete lack of respect for people then I have with this company. Do not do business with them take your money elsewhere. There's a reason why they are rated so low! I would give them 0 stars if I was able, 1 is to generous.

Mom needed oxygen canister. They brought a half filled canister. They said that they left a concentrator, but never did. So we half to prove that we never received the item. My parents don't need that kind of stress. Luckily I was their to get to the bottom of their unorganized company. I will be looking for another company.

I work at Lincare. I have witnessed harassment and bullying. We have had 3 employees quit because of the harassment. One employee in particular has quit. She cared about the patients more than anyone. She was made fun of. Talked bad behind her back and in her presence in front of coworkers. She would cry at her desk. It got so bad she quit. Now she doesnt have a job and no income. She was too afraid to speak up. Afraid of what these three coworkers would would say. I hope she is coping. With her life. Not fair she quit because of the toxic enviorment.

Paper work lost
August 9, 2018
Updated review

Lincare in Show Low has a complete staff then over. In March 2018, I met the new manager. He took notes and said he will work on the case. A few weeks later a lady called and said that I need to come in for a check up. I told here i was in tucson. However Can the regional manager told me I could have this dog in tucson. The caller said she would check with Dan and get back with me. She never called back. In June we would be in overgaard for the summer. So I waited until I could go to show low. I bet with the manager. He took some notes and would get back with me.
Not hearing from him i dropped in one day and discussed my case.the mana did provide me some needed supplies.
The manager call and ask me the name of the health care person that handle my case. I do not remember the name. But I do have copies of the paperwork in tucson and would bring them back with me.
The manager stated they can not find any paperwork.
Now I am worried that my paper. Work are in the hands of someone that may want private information.
It has been a year and lincare still can not get their act togther.

Something is seriously wrong with Lincare
December 15, 2017
Previous review

My experience with Lincare has been HORRIBLE.
My first visit with Lincare in July 2017 they tried to pass off a CPAP different then the sleep therapist at Mayo order. I stated that I would want the ResMed ordered.

My second visit with Lincare in Show Low Az started with waiting over 1 and 1/2 hours. The patient before me was receiving their CPAP. I was sitting next to their room, with the door open. This is Patient Privacy? Then a salesman walked in and went in their room interrupting the session. I finally had to tell Lincare staff that I would rebook for after experiencing the above, During this session several other people came in an was upset that their appointment was running way late.

The third session I attended and spent about 20 minutes. However, Lincare could not let me have the machine due to their computer down because of paper work. I was told to come back that afternoon. I returned but the paper work was still not finished.

The fourth session, days later in August, I was able to pick up the machine.

Three months later I order some nose pillows replacement from Florida. However, Florida told me that Show Low had not processed the paper work. I was connected to Show Low and told that they submitted the paper work and the problem was billing.

Finally, in December 2017, I called Lincare in Florida and received the same information in the preceding paragraph.

I called Corporate and complained. Corporate was going to check into the problem and get back with me. It is now three days later and I have not heard a thing.

I told my therapist about the HORRIBLE treatment from Lincare and would recommend them, Mayo Clinic, not to send any patients there for a CPAP.

Customer service stinks. They lie. They don't return phone calls. The don't seem to be aware of the importance of oxygen and equipment to those of us who use it. They bought out the local supplier here in Auburn in January and I have had multiple problems with them. The delivery person, Doug, is the only competent person who works there that I have run across. I tried to switch my account and was told that I was under contract with them for two more years. Hopefully, the government will read all the lousy reviews nationwide and shut them down! Whatever you do... stay away from them!
