HORRIBLE, LEFT MY MOTHER WITHOUT OXYGEN! LOUISE KEPT TELLING HER THEY WERE ON THERE WAY…. THEY WERE NEVER SENT OUT! LEFT HER WITH A BROKEN OXYGEN TANK. THEY DO NOT RETURN CALLS…. LOUISE LIES RIGHT TO YOUR FACE. YOU CALL FOR SUPPLIES…. THEY DO NOT SEND THEM…BEWARE! USE DIFFERENT COMPANY!
I was gonna give this place some kind of star but they didn't have minus! I've had to deal with these people the last few month's because I moved due to health reasons and to be closer to my daughter. The very first time I called to place a order it was not hey glad to have your business, It was you better order what you need the first time because we will not be out again until next week no matter what! Really? What kind of business is this? How do they stay in business! I have never had to deal with such heartless and cold hearted people in my life, not to mention that they think they are doing you a favor! 99 percent of the people that I've talked to are idiots and I don't know where they are from but I don't think it's what we call earth. I honestly think they were sent by another planet to annoy the hell out of the people that are sick and have to deal with this on a weekly basis. If you see something that has Lincare on it run for your life because they will talk to you like a dog and make you so mad you want to jerk them through the phone. If anyone reads this we need a good oxygen supply company around Winston Salem area to help us, not give us a nervous breakdown begging to get someone to bring the supplies we have to have to even go to the store. When you call on a weekly basis and give your order and nobody comes or has no record of you even calling! It's past time to shut this place down!
This business doesn't have the wisdom to realize that there dealing with sick human beings. They don't even care to make someone even stressed to the point they can cause a heart attack not caring enough to realize you may be stressing someone with heart conditions. They have no consideration for the need unless of course your about to sign in to a contract with them for 5 years you can't get out off. That's ware the screw you is ware it starts. I can't believe that a Med supply company like Lincare is still in business. I wonder how many people's parents where put in hospital because of there conducting with other humans. I actually left hoping the company I'm with is better. THEY SHOULD NAME IT THE LINCARE ZOO.
I contacted Lincare to get a itemized bill. 7 days ago. Mail came today. No itemized bill, but a nasty collection letter. Called Lincare to verify my itemized bill was mailed. NEGATIVE not mailed because the lady that assured me it would be in tomorrows mail didn't verify my address. As a business claiming to be A+ in customer service, you should have contacted me to verify my address. This was not my fault. It was your telephone operator. This is not the first time I have been duped by Lincare. Had the same run around trying to get supplies. Called the assured they were on there way. Called a week latter, some lame excuse why they were not sent out. Invest in training! Before inspire takes all of your cpap sales away!
My Mom has a portable oxygen tank. She was double-billed several times. We inquired about getting her a POC and they said she had to have an account for two months so they could make sure Medicare and she paid the total bill She did! When questioned again they said an account was needed for four months. After several months of getting my doctor to provide a prescription for the portable oxygen concentrator, Lincare said they would deliver it to us within 12 weeks. Two months later than that timeframe we haven't seen the POC yet. Three calls and a written inquiry resulted in no contact. When I finally found a manager she said she would call back. Nope! Two weeks later I called the same person and again was told she was checking on it and would call back. That was five days ago. My only alternative is to purchase a POC and forget Lincare. I have never experienced such terrible customer service. Given that they are handling seniors with respiratory problems makes it even worse. I would not recommend using any of their services.
They keep missing my required weekly oxygen tank deliveries. Their excuses are a litany of incompetence.
How they stay in business is some kind of sick mircle.
If possible, buy your CPAP supplies from anyone other than this group of incompetents. I changed my insurance to Medicare and a Medicare supplement policy when I retired. I have been trying for three weeks to get supplies ordered. I was just on hold for 50 minutes listening to their mind numbing hold music. A different person then the one I originally talked to finally picked up the phone. I once again explained the problem and how I was in desperate need of supplies. She says someone will call me back, the same thing I've been hearing for three weeks. I need to get a new prescription and a new supplier who actually gives a damn. Lincare certainly doesn't.
I contacted Lincare about the recall for my Philips CPAP machine that they sold me, but they did absolutely nothing beyond passing the buck to the manufacturer. Lincare is a billion dollar company and they could have given me a new CPAP machine and then settled with Philips for any out of pocket costs, but instead they decided it's not their responsibility, despite the fact that they are an authorized dealer for Philips CPAP machines.
Unfortunately, I live in the backwater of North Florida where this kind of horrible service is commonplace. My mother lives in Fort Lauderdale and got a brand new CPAP machine delivered to her 1 day after contacting her medical device supplier.
Do not use! They suck. Terrible communication and extremely rude employees. Especially the Ballston Lake office. They have poor customer care and hang up on customers repeatedly
WON'T LET ME GIVE NEW REVIEW SO I'LL EDIT THIS ONE! Now my mom is on hospice. Same guy ALAN came with out calling knocked on door an told my wife he talked to me ( never got a call) he picked up oxygen tanks and left with our WONDERFUL hospice nurse there. My wife called and asked if he called I said no! I called the Osage Beach office. The lady says sorry must be some confusion, I'm sure ALAN meant to call. I raise a big enough fuse she says she'll have a supervisor call. Long story short I received a call from the supervisor and ALAN. I believe ALAN LIED! And the supervisor just tried to console me to appease me! No policy will change with this company! ALAN WALKED IN OUR HOME WITHOUT PERMISSION AND SHOWED UP SEVERAL TIMES WITHOUT A PHONE CALL! I guess it's time for ALAN to get a criminal trespassing charge! Let's see if this will help him call before showing up without permission!
These people are the worst. After suffering from double pneumonia and respiratory failure due to Covid and hospitalization for a month, I was given 4 ft 45lb steel portable oxygen tanks which are a complete Terror to move around freely with in my weakened condition. I call My doctor a she order a compact oxygen concentrator from Lincare and after a week I call for the status on the order and a rep states no order was placed, so I call again the next day and a rep states no order was placed so I tell this to my doctor and Lincare magically finds the order and tells my doctor I will need to take a 6 minute walking test in order to get the oxygen concentrator. This really angered me because the reps totally lied about not initially receiving the order for the oxygen concentrator. Please don't use this CRAP OF A DME COMPANY
Billing is usually messed up. Shipping times can be 3 months for things you need. Usually send wrong products or more products than you ordered at very high prices! I even went to local store cause last time I order from their supply center it took three months. At store I told them why I wanted to order or pick up there. They didn't have what I needed in stock. So they ordered for me and have all my equipment info in computer. Two weeks later supplies show up and are for wrong machine! I called they said they would try to fix and call me back but never heard from them. This is typical! Preferred medical is much better but my insurance won't deal with them anymore. It's so hard to get cpap supplies I'm ready to throw my machine out the window! Even tho medically they say I need it. System is broken! Lincare is horrible!
They don't answer the phone, or return phone calls. As a CDL driver my information is important to me. CPAP customers should move over to Buffalo CPAP.
Careful when dealing with Lyncare. Always watch the billing. They will overcharge you and will keep on sending supplies that you don't need.
When I bought my 3rd CPAP Resmed 10 from Lyncare, they decided to bill me rental instead of outright buy. The past 2 machines where a straight purchase. I don't know why they decided that the 3rd machine to be a rental. The only explanation was that they can make more money because it's a 10 month rental. I called my Blue Cross insurance and the agent said it should have been a purchase and even talked to someone in accounting. They said they will call me back but they never did and they never changed the billing. I called them after a week and someone in accounting insisted that my insurance is only for rental. I told them that my insurance agent said it should have been a purchase and not a rental. The Lyncare accountant said that my insurance agent doesn't know the policy. I paid everything off and told them to close my account and stop sending me supplies.
They refuse to ship to my supplies until a supervisor calls me back, 3 calls and a visit to office.
Been trying to get c-pap supplies for a year. Started a Hickory NC Lincare. Kept calling and receptionist said they would contact me. Neverdid all summer of 2020. September I took my medical records to N. Wilkesboro NC Lincare and dropped them off. Checked with them and the said I would have to have a follow up with the Dr due to being over a year. This was due to Hickory location dragging it out all summer with no action. I saw the Dr January
31,2021 and they faxed Lincare in N Wilkesboro my information confirmed fax. I waited 6 weeks and called. They stated they never received the fax. I had the information faxed to them again. Called and they stated they had received it. I called April 23 and N. Wilkesboro said I couldn't get supplies from them iwas out of their district, I would have to get them from Hickory. I spoke with the manager Brian and ask why didn't they tell me this when I gave them the paperwork in September? He gave no reason for it and told me to ask for the manager at Hickory. Called Hickory and the Manager will not speak with me or return my call. I'm sick of these irresponsible negligent people at both locations. I will go to a different provider. I have spent a year of dealing with their incompetence!
LinCare is the worst medical device company I've ever dealt with. Years ago I was in need of durable medical equipment so my doctor contacted LinCare for their services. From the very beginning I had nothing but with them. Customer service is almost none existent. Billing was a nightmare and they didn't care what my wishes were. Eventually I had enough and found a different provider.
Recently my wife was hospitalized and needed home oxygen. The hospital attempted to contact my provider however they are not and 24/7 service so they had to use a different. Against my instincts I agreed to allow LinCare. I received a call from a LinCare reprehensive who advised he would go by the hospital and drop of a portable tank for the wife then come to our residence and set up the home device.
Later I received a call from the Representative who stated that our insurance would not cover the device. I knew this to in fact be wrong and contacted our insurance company who assured me that the device was covered. The hospital case worker called me and she found a different provider who accepts our insurance and we will be using the. I've never heard of the company but at this point any company other company has to be better to deal with than LinCare.
They are rude people when I was trying to understand my dad's bill the first time they hung up on me then when I called back the guy started yelling at me
Lincare is more bureaucratic than the post office and IRS combined
Can't get orders filled. Rarely get a call back
Been 7 weeks since I tried to get CPAP supplies
I've been trying to order cpap supplies since February, it is now April and to date, I haven't received anything. In February I called, explained I moved, gabe them my new address, my new health insurance card and said I needed to order my cpap supplies. The lady said they would arrive in 7-10 business days. I waited 10 business days and didn't receive anything. I figured with covid, etc., I'd give them another 10 business days. Still nothing. Mid March I call, explain what happened. I was told that they had my updated information, but no order was placed. She submitted my order and said they would arrive in 7-10 business days. 10 business days came and went. I call back. I'm bounced between operators working at home with poor internet connections. Their phones are choppy when they're not choppy, they're full of static. Eventually I'm told there was a billing error. I'm on hold for 40 minutes before being disconnected. If there was a billing error, why didn't anyone catch it? Why wasn't a flag raised when someone saw my account and realized that nothing was sent? And why wasn't I notified about any of this? Nah. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. This place doesn't know, nor seem to care, about operating a successful business.
Answer: Yes, Lincare is fraudulent. I finally sent a letter to my Medicare Advantage and also Medicare. The only way to stop this company is to take action. All of our rants and raves are exactly that, rants and raves. Please talk to your insurance company and medicare provider. This company needs to not be in business, especially with such vulnerable customers who depend on them. WA state
Answer: You will not get satisfaction! I have struggled with this company for over one year because of Medicare requirements. Totally exasperating! Buyer beware!
Answer: Really? Then ask someone why I tried for over 3 weeks to get a new c-pap mask and hose from the HOME office in Florida and it never showed up! I'm not indigent like some of your customers, I don't accept incompetence. My sleep clinic simply changed me to a new supplier and I am now very, very happy with them.
Answer: DONNA, I REPLACE THE FILTER BY ASKING MY SUPPLIER, THEY USUALLY ARE VERY ACCOMADATING AND GIVE ME ONE. LINCARE, NORCO, AND SUPPLIER WILL REPLACE IT. I ALWAYS CLEAN THE VENTS MYSELF, BUT I LET THE COMPANY REPLACE IT.
