LilyAnn Cabinets are really good quality and value. They shipped our order in 4 days and we received them a couple days later.

They were fairly easy to put together. The only negative thing I could think of was the paper directions were not very good. The directions only had diagrams and there were no words to reinforce the diagrams. I would suggest one to watch the videos on the website before you attempt to assemble the cabinets.

I am planning to purchase another kitchen from Lily Ann in the fall for our family condo.

The website was not easy to use - far from user friendly! The 'chat' was not open when I was first on the site, and the person finally helping me had difficulty trying to explain what I had to do to use the website. That took some effort and time. That part was all due to the size of your website on my computer. I ordered the cabinets by your cabinet number (i.e.: 1-101); when I saw the quote those references were not carried over - only the skew number appeared. That made it difficult to verify what I wanted against what appeared on the quote. My construction background eased the frustration with verifying the order, knowing that the 1st letter of each cabinet indicates 'B' as a base cabinet, 'W' for wall & 'D' for a drawer unit. 'BWB' (Base Waste Basket) started to get a little more tricky!

The cabinets came with little written instructions, and tiny illustrations that lacked sufficient detail. I did watch some LilyAnn assembly videos. Some were helpful - others like the corner cabinet - not so much. The upper corner cabinet was a disaster to assemble. Because of the six sided offset design, assembling was difficult. It was difficult to keep upright. I had to use a strap, 2x4's and cloth material to protect the finished surfaces, to prop it up. I also used several screws not provided to temporarily hold It together during assembly. It was awkward and in hindsight, a 2nd set of hands might have helped assemble that one.

This was my 1st experience with assembling cabinets. It is pretty time consuming and you need a decent work space to assemble and to stage until every cabinet is ready to install. Once installed, the quality of all cabinets is fine & the finish as good as any other non-ready-to-assemble, more expensive cabinets I've installed or purchased. My initial comments were met with a return call demonstrating their having read my initial comment about how their website was difficult to use and they demonstrated that they were customer oriented. Through the difficulties I had, and after being in the construction business for over 50 years, I have to say the overall experience was a good one. Nineteen cabinets were delivered w/ one very minor plastic hardware piece broken. Fabrication to delivery time was shorter than expected. I have a personal difficulty rating anything or anyone a 'perfect' 5 of 5. Having said that, looking at the installed kitchen cabinets, I'd rate the end result a 4.1 out of 5.

My wife's last kitchen was a 100% custom kitchen w/ ups & downs, ins & outs, varying heights, some glass doors, some wood panel doors, crown mouldings, and under cabinet trim (35 cabinets for $28,000+). If there was such a thing as a garbage can store she could pick out the most expensive one from the entrance door. She is very particular about her kitchen. She is happy with the new kitchen from LilyAnn. I am happy with the price & overall look, and I would do it again.

So far love the product you make. But I have two comments

When you open the doors with the current hinges. They open a little wide. Meaning if you have 2 cabinets right next to each other they just nearly clear the cabinet next to it and you cannot open doors adjacent to each other at the same time as the doors with any handle hit. Also if you put cabinets at a corner you need a spacer on the cabinet next to the corner or the door only opens 3/4 of the way.

Secondly, one of the drawers was fastened to the outside drawer cover (the part showing) very poorly with the 4 wood screws. As an attempted fix someone put one wood screw in after the drawer was assembled. It didn't hold, the screw wasn't long enough and it needed screws on both ends. Kind of a weak fix, if you ask me, to send out a new product like that. My installer fixed it by adding 4 wood screws to the reattached the front. It came off the very first time I pulled the drawer open, by the way.

Other than those two things. The cabinets seems well made, look great and I am hoping to get many years of enjoyment from your product.

Appreciate the efficiency of the website and the ability to save a quote and edit it. Also liked the assembly videos. One negative - the gallery photos of York Linen were distorted and do not give a good representation of the cabinets in an actual kitchen. But overall, a very positive experience! Thanks!

PS - Received a sample door and very impressed with the quality. I look forward to installing these cabinets in my near-future kitchen.
