When I ordered a garment from this company nowhere did it mention i would have to pay import duty/tax to the delivery company before they would deliver.

The fitting of the garment was appaling,,,, far too big at the top, the top of sleeves were far too small for the armholes causing puckering and the material just clung to the arm.
I complained to the company immediately informing them i wanted a refund as it did not fit and was poor quality. I received an email stating they would reimburse me a fraction of the cost- to have it altered here in the UK, which I refused, as it was not possible to alter it, there wasn't adequate material to do this.
I was eventually told I would have to return it to China at my own cost. I got the impression I would never get a refund. I was not going to waste my time.
I would not recommend this company ever... steer clear!
I have shopped many times at lightinthebox.com and every time i have been happy with my products, delivery, before and after care, the prices are cheap but the items are of veru high quality. I have told all my family and friends about the website and i would not hesitate to recommend them to any body they are also 100% friendly. And i am a 100% satisfied customer.
The customer service is human: they understand, they act within a comfortable time frame too. They don't beat around the bush with results and the options are always to the customer's benefit. I have bought a phone, two tablets and dresses from LITB - all of them are of superb quaqlity. Once I got an order that had a discrepancy and LITB offered me 3 attractive options to resolve my query. With such committed service, I rate it on the same level as Amazon, another trusted web-market.
They also offer pre-sales service, helping you to find the product right for you. I had input my papyal ID incorrectly too many times in my last order and LITB's site refused to accept any payments from my paypal even after I had remembered the correct password; as it was trying to prevent a fraudulent purchase. LITB contacted me, asking me to verify that I was indeed trying to make a valid purchase. I was very impressed by this.
I also had to contact paypal to release the funds to LITB... the security is astonishing and I feel safe as a buyer of LITB. The shipping speed and product packaging is absolutely phenomenal! There is no need to be anything but happy having found LITB, even through the Amazon Market - where I found them initially.
When I started ordering from Lightinthebox, then I was a bit pessimistic about it. Now I`m customer for almost 3 years and every time I get something I feel that those are really good things with excellent quality. Prices are really good and postal expences are small. Really recommend it!
I didn't even want to give this site 1 star. After placing an order, I got an email requesting that I send them a photo of my credit card and my passport. Why? I don't know. I quickly did some research and found that this site is a well known scam site. Don't believe the 5 star reviews; they were obviously written by employees of the company.
I bought three different silicone moulds and favour bags. They were very quick to deliver. It is so cheap but that does not effect the quality, if anything the quality of the items I bought are better than the expensive 1s now after finding this website I am always on it in my spare time. Answer: Count yourself lucky and DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! You will be disappointed in the clothing and size from this company. All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
