Good customer service

Initially I had a problem with this company. The watch I bought did not arrive on time but the company were very good about handling my complaint and did their best to rectify the situation. The fitness tracker/watch is as good as my son's - who paid three times the price.

Its more than 2 weeks after I put in my order and still have not received it. Their order tracker is useless and no way to get a live person to get update.

Please note because the shipping method you chose for this order was Postal service(with tracking service). It's an econmoic shipping method we have, while takes a longer shipping time for delivery. Just a Scam
December 20, 2016

By far the worst ecommerce brand on the planet.
I purchased an item from LightIntheBox on the 9/12 and the shipping was supposed to be 3 to 5 working days.
By the 20th of December, I still did not receive anything and the shipping period has been increased to 5 to 10 working days.
It looks I cannot cancel anymore the purchase and it looks difficult to directly contact the customer service.
I would highly suggest everyone avoid to buy from them.
Alternatively, you can try the service your self.

Okay so I am updating my previous review since Tammy at customer service got involved and resolved my problem. She's replied to my complaint immediately and started working with me to find tracking info for my order. She promised that it would be delivered by the 22nd and offered to give me a 20% refund on my order if I chose to keep the item. If I refused to keep the item she would start the process for full refund. I said I would keep the item and take a 20% refund for all the grief if and ONLY if the order arrived on time. Well it did a day earlier than quoted. The partial refund was processed immediately and after all the hassle I am satisfied with the resolution. The reason I am only giving 2 stars is that the only time I was responded to properly was after I complained here. When I complained to customer service on the site, I was given the run around. The site still gives wrong shipping and processing info and that needs to be fixed. Tammy was great, but why did I have to wait to get info only after I complained here? Customer service on the site should have resolved my issues. So in all Thank you Tammy, but I probably wouldn't buy anything from this site again.

I ordered 10 items on Black Friday they said it was get to me in 4-7 days then said that it would be 11-14 days. When I checked out it was $115 & they took it out. Then it ended up back in my account. At first I didn't know where it came from then did the math & figured out it got put back. Then the day that my items were shipped it got taken back out. I didn't like that because it's like why not keep it instead of making me think that I have extra money to spend. Also, what if I had $114 & when they decided to take it out again I didn't have enough. Then what? It's not like they contacted me to to tell me what they planned on doing with my money anyways. Then when my items arrived (on the 14th day) the rings & cuff I ordered were way too big I really don't know who they would fit & when I returned them at my local rue21 I put it on the guy at the register & it didn't even fit him. Also, the smallest size they have in the combat boots I ordered were a small & I thought it would be a 5 or 6 normally but it was really a 7 1/2 shoot I really wear a size 3 in kids so obviously they didn't fit me. Then what pissed me off the most was the cropped leather jacket I got, I don't know if it came with the inside ripped or it ripped after the first time I wore it but it wasn't even tight I purposely got a medium so it wouldn't be tight so I think it came ripped & I paid $30 for it so it honestly shouldn't have. I'm neverrrrrr ordering from there again.

As with everyone else on here... I too was scammed by the "expedited shipping". An extra cost of $17.02 that turned out to be complete BS. After ordering and seeing that "everything was in stock and ready to ship"... I logged back in and saw that they weren't going to ship for another 10 days after ordering.
Then, I find out that my 4-5 Day delivery is out of the question according to DHL... who said that this company does this all the time...
People need to find this webpage and stop ordering from these clowns. I told them I want a refund because the order STILL hasn't left China yet... and I ordered 20 days ago.
Buyer beware of this company, they will take your money, laugh all the way to the bank, and good luck if you get your items.

12/22/16 UPDATE:

Well lightinthebox.com has arrived and I dealt with a pleasant Supervisor named Tammy who took care of our package. She issued a refund for shipping and added another 10% on top of that. We had a friend accept the package for us today and I can say that their customer service did the right thing. I am updating them to 4 Stars because they handled our refund in a great way.

Awesome work blazers

I work in a creative office and need work outfits that are stylish and professional, but not boring. I'm really pleased with all 4 blazers I got. The fabric is great for the price and they fit well based on the size charts. I've already worn one and got compliments!

Delivery time is a lie!

I bought some edifier speakers on the 12th December, I double checked about all the delivery times and was told it would take 3-4 business days! Its a lie, its now the 19th and ive now been told it will take between 10-20 days! I regret buying from them

I recently purchased a pair of curtains from LightInTheBox.com and was not satisfied with them. The curtains do not hang properly and the hooks provided do not fit onto the curtain. The result is that the curtains fall off the rod at the slightest touch and the top tab tilts away from the wall instead of hanging straight. I requested a return and refund within the allowed time frame after placing the order. A customer service rep has contacted me and I expect to be issued a return label for a full refund, but have been waiting several weeks for a response. I will update this rating if/when my refund is issued.

THE WEBSITE ADVERTISES FREE EXPEDITED SHIPPING FOR ORDERS OVER USD $90. BUT WHEN YOU GO TO CHECK OUT THE ITEMS AND PAY THEY DONT GIVE YOU THE FREE SHIPPING AND INSTEAD THE SHIPPING COST IS MORE THAN THE ITEMS YOU ARE PURCHASING. BLATANT FALSE ADVERTISING. Ordered Christmas presents from this company (Lightinthebox) for my youngest son on December 6th, 2016. They charged my card the same day. Shipping is listed as 5 to 8 days, but as of today, December 17th, 2016, their site shows that the items have not even been sent. Rather they show "processing": preparation to ship. It is unacceptable to mislead people by saying shipping is 5 to 8 days and then not even getting around to shipping 11 days after the order was received and the card was charged. Tomorrow I will be canceling that charge if it the items are not shipped by close of business. Then I will write a letter to my bank and dispute the charges. I will not play idiotic games with this company and I am offended as heck that it is an almost certainty that my child will not get his presents for Christmas. Either way... I will never do business with LightInTheBox again. Gary Clouse

Please don't waste your time ordering from this company. I am a 40 year old cancer patient. I searched for wigs online and I ordered $200 of wigs and wig products from this site. I was in the hospital for almost 20 days. I wanted to receive my wigs quickly. When I got out of the hospital my wigs still hasnt arrived. I looked on the site and seen that they have canceled my order. They sent a message to my account from light in the box stating they have sent many emails for me to verify payment and address by sending them a light bill. Although this is a very strange request, I would have done it if I had indeed seen an email. I checked my emails daily while I was in the hospital, inbox and spam. After reading reviews, many of the people on here have stated, they lied to them also saying they sent emails but they didnt receive any. The company states I will receive a refund after 7 to 25 business days. This is around the holiday time. I have Christmas shopping and medical bills to worry about. I have read some reviews stating they dont like to give your money back but give credit. I do NOT want any kind of credit, I want my money to go back to my original payment. I will not be doing business with these people after reading these reviews. Many people have stated they have not received refunds. If I dont get my money back, I am going to BBB and the FTC. I do not play about my money. I just want my money back. If I do not get my money back, I will write more reivews expressing that. This is ridiculous. I dont need a generic response, I need my money. I am a divorced cancer patient with four kids. I cant afford to throw away $200 and still have to buy more wigs. I think other cancer patients would like to hear my story. Maybe I should try to go to the news. Taking advantage of cancer patients is not a good look. Or taking advantage of anyone, cancer or not. Their are some really bad reviews on here of your company. This needs to come out. I'm wondering if the company is writing the positive reviews. If I dont receive my money back by February or they send me a credit with this company, I am taking this to an extreme. I am through with this company. I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. Lesson learned!

I ordered 2 items back in November and am still waiting Dec 15th and no update on the vague tracking information since Nov 26th. When I created a ticket and contacted them regarding my order, they replied on 12/14 saying "If you haven't received your order by 12/8, please let us know." I'm really sorry I ever placed the order with this site and am hoping someday it finally arrives. Hoping I don't have to start a dispute over this. Grrrr...

OK, so not long after posting this, Pinni contacted me from Light In The Box. She refunded half of my purchase price and I did finally receive the items about a week later. I think this is a company with great products at fabulous prices... It just takes a lot longer than expected to receive the items due to the shipping times from China. If you order from them, they're not a scam... just know that you're going to wait awhile for your product. Overall, I'm super happy with the items I ordered. :)

Horrible shipping

Just learning it will take over a month to recieve item purchased 11/28/16. I paid extra for insurance and expedited shipping. 5-8 buisness days. Was shipped 12/02/16. Contacted customer service and their excuse is holiday delays. Wish I would've read reviews before purchasing anything from this site. I hope to return with the good news of actually receiving the product after 01/09/17

I wish I would have thought to read reviews before I placed my order. I ordered the items on Dec 2/16 it said it could take up to 48 hours to process the order (which was fine). They processed my payment the same day. I paid extra for expedited shipping that said the item should arrive in 5-8 days. It is now Dec 14/16. The order (according to the very vague tracking info) said it was shipped 2 days ago, That means it took 10 days for processing! I have my doubts that I will receive these items before Christmas. I have emailed them multiple times and have been given the same generic response that everyone else here seems to have reviewed. Even looking at the company's response to these reviews, here, have been the same generic message over and over. I will wait another week to see if I actually get the items, but I am not feeling very confidant at this point. I will write a follow up to this if there is any changes. But at this time I paid for shipping that should have arrived in 10 days, and it has already been 14...

Very bad experience
