I think that if you upgrade the fabric a litlle, more cotton and no polyester, and make the return proces easier, for example a return label. And accept, a litlle bit of profit less, you would gain, in the end more. Like i already mentioned, the designs are very cute and beautiful most of the times, so that's in the pocket, only some adjustments.

I bought a jacket and a sweater from LightIntheBox as the pictures looked good and the items were interesting. It took 6 weeks for the items to arrive... not 4-7 days as stated on the website. When the items finally arrived, they were cheaply made, wrong size (sleeves on sweater too short), and wrong color. I reached out to ask the process of returning and after a couple of emails, finally received a response. They asked me to take a discount on future purchases as they claimed it would be too expensive to ship the items back and I would be responsible for all return costs. After going back and forth with this company via email I finally called my credit card company and had them try. I spent hours on the phone trying to provide them with info to help support my case.
I am a person who was weary of buying clothing online due to sizing issues/etc but came around to the idea because of the ease of returning items when they are not of good color or fit. Most companies I have bought from are excellent at this and it's made me a online shopper with confidence. This experience has been a complete rip off scam and I feel taken advantage of... I wrote this review as I believe online reviews are the one thing we can do to keep these rip off companies from taking advantage of people. I hope it helps steer others away from LightInTheBox...

Absolutely the WORST experience. Cheap poor quality clothing that appears nice in photo and in person is not. Very slow shipping and in reality no returns! They say you can ship back at your expense (mine was over $40) or give you a credit of 10% of your order to use on your next order. Fell for this scam but never again and I'd advise anyone not to either.

Back on the 12th I ordered 3 phone cases, after almost a month with no updates, alerts, there wasn't $#*!. So I check with customer service, and all I get is a quick nod off and a coupon that they lie about the expiration date. Skip a while more, still no updates, I look again, and still nothing, sending another ticket, they tell me they'll just split the order, made me nervous, but fine. I go to check and they didn't split my order, they tampered with it, removed one of the cases that they took my money for. And I have the screenshots for it too! This review won't be fixed until MY stuff is fixed.

I bought a dress for a special occasion via the website of Light in the Box. I ordered a XL which is not my normal sizing, I would normally order a L but with foreign made items, I always go bigger. It finally arrived, but was o small it would just go over my head and arms but no further. Immediately emailed to inform them of the wrong size and that I would like a refund and where to send the item back. I was informed items werent sent back to their warehouse and they could offer me 30% of another item or 10% refund! I was gobsmacked at this, there was no indication of any change in this policy. I have a dispute action with PayPal to try to secure a refund. Very angry and would not recommend this company at all

I ordered some sandals that were really cute online. What i got was total crap. Not what i ordered. Not good guality. I could buy better at the dollat store. I tried at least 5 times to contact customer service. Stiil no answer. They suck. Dont ever use this site. If i showed you what i got you would die laughing. Fu light in the box

Stay away from this company, ordered 2 dresses, and shipped me 2 dresses that are total rags. Claim I have to return dresses back to china in order for refund. The cost to ship items back cost extremely more than the dresses are worth. Have been fighting with them and all they do is give me the run around. They will not allow negative reviews on their website, so all you see are positive reviews, not coming from actual customers. They also have a lot of different store names, but are actually the same company. Beware. Notice in pictures, first dress is what I ordered, second is what I received. Third dress is what I ordered fourth pic is what I ordered. They refuse to correct the issue.

I simply ordered a sweater and after 6 weeks no delivery. I made various attempts to contact via tracking site and requesting to speak to someone. Eventually after one month I was notified my package was returned. There was no delivery notification and someone was home at all times. I have had no replies back. This is a sloppy service and it needs to be revamped. Poor poor service!

They state, "If you have ordered as your local size, it may not fit you." They "suggest keeping the item" as "returning ito China may not be the most economical option." Other "Customer Service" options include: Keep the item and receive a 20% coupon; Keep the item and receive a refund of 10%; Send the item back to China at your expense and receive a refund. They offer no phone number at their so-called customer service site. Never ordering again from them again. Also dress received had a different style of slieve than pictured.

I ordered a Gold dress. On the advertisement it was beautiful and it was gold when I received it the same day that I was supposed to wear it for my granddaughter's 15th birthday celebration the dress was orange/peach color according to them that is gold nowhere near being a gold dress. The dress is beautiful but it's just not a gold dress that's not true like they show it. I was so disappointed and so upset because I had to run out and find a dress that was actually gold color that same day. I've requested a refund and I'm waiting for a response. Hopefully they'll be true to their word if not then I will go ahead and proceed a little bit further with this. They not they cannot be advertising something and send you whatever they have in stock doesn't work like that. I'm on SSI I don't have that kind of money just to be spending on stuff that I'm not going to wear cuz it had to be a gold dress no two ways about it.

What I received looked nothing like what I ordered. It was a very cheap made dress with completely different lace that looked like they just slapped it on the dress. Getting a refund or even a credit is close to impossible. Basically, they take your money and send whatever they want. First red flag for me should have been that they don't have a phone number for customer service. There is no way to hold them accountable. Don't throw your money away.

I purchased a 2X dress and it is more like about a size 14. I could not believe how wrongly midsized this was. And not possibility of return? What kind of an online store works this way? I have sold online for years and treat my customers with the utmost respect and customer service.

I purchased a dress a larger size than i would buy at the store based on there chart. When I received the dress it is the size of a child that maybe 8 years old. I'm only 4'11' tall and average at 100lbs. So I did a return slip and they said it has to be sent to china because of the pandemic they were forced to close there where houses in the U.S. So to receive a refund on the $40 dress it will cost my $60 to return to china with tracking and using there carrier. There customer service rep was horrible and sent a letter saying basically keep it and they will give me a 10% refund on my card. What a scam! Buyer beware of the return policy and what it will cost if you have to return anything.

The product I received did not match the picture at all on the website.
They were initially not willing to give the full refund and no more answer from customer (email), no number to call. After reading my review here, they refunded me.

Complete and utter garbage. Don't waste your money. If you want to return you have to pay shipping to China which is usually far more than the garbage is worth. VERY disappointed.

I ordered a dress for my daughter's ice competition. They failed to tell me it was out of stock. I ordered the dress March 6th. Processing is supposed to take only 5-7 days at the most. I waited over two weeks and kept messaging them and of course it's an automated message. Customer service is absolutely horrific. My daughter is going to be traumatized when she finds out she doesn't have a dress for this competition season. If I knew they were out of stock I would have ordered from a different company. They never once said they were out of stock and I messaged them back and fourth over 10 times. I'm pretty upset. Please for the elove of God, never, EVER, EVER order from this POS company. Don't make the same mistake I did. Now we have to scramble in hopes to find a dress for my daughter in less than a month.

Poor quality expensive products, terrible return policy. You have to pay expensive international shipping to return items to China or they will only give you 10% refund or 20% coupon to use for buying other things which is nothing for the high price they charge for the products. I will never buy from them again. When they first started the pricing was good and quality of products were much better. Now you pay high price for bad products.

Answer: Count yourself lucky and DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! You will be disappointed in the clothing and size from this company. All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
