I am a hopeless seamstress-buttons are a challenge. When I opened the two "Light in the Box" dresses I ordered (a better name for the company might be: "Gross in the Box") I was dumbstruck. The two dresses looked as if I'd made them-they were flimy, icky material without any sign of a design. Perhaps people still wear mumu's?
The only thing I can say is-they were cheap. My recourse was: spend more money than they cost returning them to China, or put them in the give-away bag. I hesitated to give them away because they are an insult to any woman, but perhaps something is better than nothing if one is desperate.
This company is pathetic and a scam. I can't say strongly enough--do not waste even a little money. I'm embarrassed I fell for it.
Bought a track suit but it was cheap knock off. Product info said cotton blend but it is horrible nylon fabric.
Will never buy from this company again. Buyer beware!

I ordered some clothes on this site. The delivery said 5-6 days. Now I see it will be the 26th. I ordered on the 6th. Plus Im paying for shipping... stupid me, I should not have trusted this site and got my stuff from Amazon. I would never have worded the clothes it it was 20 days delivery. I would never again order from Light in the Box, and advise all others to avoid ordering from them. We tried to cancel an order before it shipped, and they refused to cancel it. It took a very long time to receive the order. Once we received it, my daughter tried it on (we had to provide pictures of what the problem was, so she had to try it on). The bodice did not fit at all, and the skirt portion was too long. We left the tags on and put it right back in the bag and immediately requested a return. My daughter never wore it beyond trying. It on for fit. They are denying a return because my daughter tried it on. How would she know that the size was wrong without trying it on? And how could she provide pictures of the problem without showing that it didn't fit? There is no way to call customer service or have an online chat. I feel like they have no intention from the outset to accept a return. Very poor customer service.

J'ai passé ma commande le 24 mai 2022 et je n'ai toujours rien reçu.
Ma première commande a été passée le 16 mai 2022 et j'ai reçu mon colis le 30 mai 2022.
Mais à ma grande surprise, j'ai aussi reçu une facture DHL. Ceci m'a beaucoup dérangé. Car les frais de transport étaient très élevés.
Si j'avais reçu la facture DHL avant, je n'aurais pas passé une autre commande. Cela me coûte plus cher que si j'allais dans les magasins.
C'est vraiment dommage.

I have used this site prior to the Pandemic without problems but this time I bought clothing and that was a disaster because the men's warm vest isn't the correct size based on their own size guide which means it is useless to my husband. I will say that the quality of the vest is very good though. Returning the item is not easy and apparently even though I bought from their size guide info it is my fault that it doesn't fit and the only way to get a refund is if I pay for return postage to China or I keep an item I can't use and accept a 20% credit on another purchase. All I can say is that when it comes to clothing do not trust the sizing that is given and buy local it is easier to return or exchange.

All the clothing is fantastic is my size it fit me well and I am very satisfied with you
De acuerdo a las fotos pensé que la ropa sería de buena calidad pero no es así.
La tela es de muy mala calidad es tan delgada que no se puede usar y hablando de los pantalones son en verdad muy cortos y yo no soy una persona alta.
No pedí mi devolución porque con el costo tan alto de los envíos no iba a recuperar nada.

This company should make clear that they ship from New York but require returns to China which are cost prohibitive. The prices are low but the quality is commensurately low, to be expected. Although they appear to have made an effort to put details on sizing for the U.S. market, I found that all of the pieces (4 purchased) did not fit right, too tight across the bust for the measurements they provided. Returns with shipping to China required are cost prohibitive so buyer beware.

Despite I followed the size table, the dress was still bigger for me, had given it to my niece, and she is happy about it.
The dress is nicely tailored, but the material is not the lightest, to look nicely on when worn.
Nevertheless, it's overall a good product related to the price.

Looks cheap till you check out. Shipping is exuberant and slow. Sizes vary sometimes its right sometimes it is not. Careful what you order the same product can be listed several times with different prices and description but is exactly the same. Customer Service is horrible their resolution forces you to take a small discount or ship it back which usually costs more then you spent on the order. Either way they Win you lose!

The "directions" for returning an item are as clear as mud. Basically, if you want to return an item, or in my case two items that just did not fit, you have no real choice but to keep them and donate them to a good cause. NEVER will I order from Light in the Box ever again and I would recommend that anyone reading this would heed the warning. Always learn from the mistakes of others!

I ordered 2 outfits for $76 + $20 shipping fee. Material is cheap and see through. Shein is better. Now that I want to return it, i have to pay an additional $20 and only get $76 back. They should refund us back for it all. Will never buy from here

Answer: Hello, I bought a few things and the quality was not very good and the sizing was totally wrong. I also bought a cellular charger and the battery inside was not soldered correctly. Lightinthebox has great price, but you pay for what you get, which isn't much. I have stopped buying from them.

Answer: Suggest not to buy. Might end up not receiving the order or received the wrong size and would be returning and paying shipping or requesting a refund or not receiving a refund at all. There's more legit company like Amazon where I bought the same one I ordered from Lightinabox, which I did not received. Sorry, but I would not trust this Co for anything. Answer: Count yourself lucky and DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! You will be disappointed in the clothing and size from this company. All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
