My first and only order from LightInTheBox was for five items. I'm keeping only one. Three of the items were of poor quality. A dress had a visible flaw in the embroidery right in front. A glittery tee shirt had no glitters in reality (deceptive photography); Capris were made of such flimsy material that it was see thru. One just did not fit right. So I wanted to return the items for a refund. They told me I would have to pay for shipping from U.S. to China, that it would be expensive and that I might have to ship things to multiple addresses. Also, that it would take 6 or more weeks before I would receive a refund. Seems they really discourage customers from returning items for a full refund. Instead they offered to give me a partial refund without having to return the items. I think they purposefully operate this way and make money on poor quality items people want to return by pushing the customer into accepting just a partial refund.
TIP: The longer you ask questions about the return and refund policy, the more they will offer to incentivize you to accept the partial refund.
The dress was a big disappointment. It looked good on the model but a short person like me the proportions were not correct. Your company wanted me to rake measurement and such. I have a visual problem and several eyebsurgeries, so doing the procedure was too visually challenging. I'm disappointed in the dress and in the money I wasted
Updating my previous negative review. Problems with return were overcome with the honest and generous help of the Customer Service staff. Bottom line - the company can be used to buy clothing when the appearance is not critical (like casual wear at home). Gap for improvement is in the sizing recommendations. Also, adding free returns would be nice and useful for both - company and the customers.

The dress came way in time for my event. It fit well and has a little stretch to it. I look forward to wearing it. I'm glad I got the dress.

The place for inferior quality low grade meterial products! Contacted their customer service to return and they want me to pay an additionall $10.00 - 40.00 to return items to China. Avoid at all cost!

Ordered several shirts and pants - items delivered were not what i ordered. Pants were suppose to be 100% cotton and they sent nylon. The shirts shipped were not 100% cotton nor did they look anything like the shirts in the picture. When i asked for return number they gave me a bunch of hoops i had to jump through, especially that i send a picture of it items that were not cotton to prove they weren't, how they could tell the fabric material by a picture baffles me. That's the lesson i learned from ordering from a chinese company.

My great surprise, is the government customs! It wasn't include in the final price! There a good difference with a local product price. But, the quality of product and delivery is there.
They was mention that the order will take 3-5 business day, and it will take more than 2 weeks and even more. Not professional at all, and not recommended.

Dobrý den, když jsem našla vaši firmu a výrobky, které prodáváte, byla jsem nadšená. Je to moje první zkušenost. Když jsem si objednala halenku, neuplynulo ani 14 dnů a měla jsem ji na poště. Mohli mi ji doručit osobně, ale já byla v nemocnici, vyzvedla ji kamarádka na poště. Halenka je krásná, velmi dobrý materiál. Hlavně vzhled a střih se mi velmi líbí. I really love your product line and I really liked what I received, unfortunately I will have to lose some weight to fit into the dresses. I am hopeful though and didn't really want to mess with sending them back.
Answer: Hello, I bought a few things and the quality was not very good and the sizing was totally wrong. I also bought a cellular charger and the battery inside was not soldered correctly. Lightinthebox has great price, but you pay for what you get, which isn't much. I have stopped buying from them.

Answer: Suggest not to buy. Might end up not receiving the order or received the wrong size and would be returning and paying shipping or requesting a refund or not receiving a refund at all. There's more legit company like Amazon where I bought the same one I ordered from Lightinabox, which I did not received. Sorry, but I would not trust this Co for anything. Answer: Count yourself lucky and DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! You will be disappointed in the clothing and size from this company. All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
