I purchased a dress in my normal size. Immediately after placing my order I started to receive updates on my order. I could NOT believe how attentive they are. Every few days another update. --HA. Then my dressed arrived. The pattern on the dress I ordered was slightly different, ok, I can cope. Well, I should have sized up 2 dress sizes. The cut of the dress is extremely small. Also, the add showed a dress with elbow length sleeves. I picked this dress for the sleeve length AND print. My dress's sleeves were short sleeves. What in the heck lol? The print in the add is different than the print I received. Very strange. ---After making contact (only email allowed) to request a refund, I was told it would take a lot of money and time to return product, SO they will give me a 3.00 credit. --I have since decided to re-order this same dress. Going UP 2 sizes. Lets see what happens. I will dispute this mess with my credit card company IF they do not send me the dress shown in the photos. They got a pass with my 1st unwearable dress. BUY WITH EXTREME CAUTION FROM THIS COMPANY. I find it odd that most of their reviews are stellar high star reviews. They did not post my review ---hum. Makes you wonder.

Light in the Box offers women's clothing that photographs beautifully on the internet; however, the actual materials are cheap and inferior. What appear to be layers may be just fabric stitched together. What appear to be buttons that open may be just decorative. Clothing is not true to size. Worse yet, returns must be made within 7 days of order receipt…and are difficult to make. The company requests information that isn't easy to find in order to get the refund approved. They do not respond to questions about this process until it is too late to make the return. If you buy from them and don't like the item, you will, likely, end up keeping it. Buyer beware!

I ordered a pair of men's pants and the fabric was so thin it felt like tissue paper. Thin and very rough with stray threads all over the place. The sizing is terrible and the fit is worse. Nearly impossible to return anything without paying a bundle in shipping so they offer you a tiny refund to go away. I'm a very average size but the crotch on these pants is super high up and the legs were super long. Wound up losing money and now I have a new shop rag :(
No pride in their work and don't give a poop about their customers, they're out for the one time sale.
Very scammy vibe, I highly recommend avoiding this seller.

Easy to order. So many beautiful choices, hardest part was selecting which ones to order. Shipping was timely as well
After purchase, their delivery partner DHL states there is duty owing. Absolutely no mention of this during the purchase process. The duty was almost the same price as the 2 T-shirts. When I refused to pay it they sent me an email saying that I had purchased insurance and that if I paid the duty to DHL, LITB would re-imburse me 100%. I purchase NO SUCH INSURANCE. I don't what they are talking about but I will not pay DHL and I have asked the Credit Card Company to reverse the charge. NEVER AGAIN from this company.

Don't be fooled into paying for expedited shipping. The trick is, they can take forever to "process/prepare" before they eventually might ship the item. The earliest projected arrival date listed for my item in order status is two days from now...pretty unlikely, as that's a Sunday and they haven't shipped yet, still "Proccssing" (their spelling) after a week, haven't even made it to "ready to ship." So disappointed, I really wanted my item.

I was very concerned that the outfit wouldn't fit or it would looked cheap and poorly made. It exceeded my expectations across the board. I love it! It fits perfectly, I got the size 18 and as you can see in the picture it looks great. It is lined and well made. It took a while to get it, so if you're in a hurry do expedited shipping if possible. I would not deduct a star for that because I am so very happy with this purchase.

All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
