Lenses are great but my bows on my frames arrives all stretched out and they would not stay on my face. Had to go to an optometrist to have them adjusted.
The process with lensabl was easy and efficient. My only complaint is that the lenses I received for my antique frames weren't perfectly round as they should have been, and as the originals were. They are very subtly squashed like ovals, not super noticeable but enough to kind of bother me at times.
I'm very happy with the new lenses and the experience overall. My only criticism is the shipping times. It took longer than expected to receive my frames but on the whole the experience was good.
The frames were received Jan 8 2021. I received a notification Feb 11 2021 that there was an issue and the lens were being reworked. I received the new lens Mar 12 2021. Perfect. They also replaced the nose pads!

It always feels so time consuming to go to the eye doctor just to get my lenses replaced. Lensabl made us SO EASY and convenient. The service is great, and all of the delivery checkpoints were clearly communicated. Great option, especially during quarantine.
Since I had full prescription incl measurements for exact frames receiving replacement lenses, it was a simple straight-forward process from beginning to end! That said, an initial estimate of timeframe from returning furnished shipping materials to return would have been useful but, aside from that... an overall GREAT experience! I will uae again and recommend!
I found a very old pair of frames that I loved wearing back in the day. They were still in good shape and I thought why not send in to make them into readers? So happy I did! The price to convert is about what I've paid for high quality readers. The process time was very reasonable. And last but not least, the collapsible case is super cool!

I have ordered three glasses from Lensabl now and so far one had to be redone which took almost a month to get back without a single update on shipping until they were delivered. That was a PD issue. And now another set has to be sent back because the lenses they made don't actually fit my frames and are bulging out and thus falling out. I'm afraid to take a look at the third pair I ordered.

My glasses took over 55 days to come back to me and customer service gave excuse after excuse without any reliable estimate. When I finally received the glasses the nose pads were pointed in the wrong direction and rendered my previously fitted frames unwearable. Customer service was unable to adequately assure me that they could put it into original fitting condition and have still failed to give me a refund. Also, the response times are eggregious. All of this is in violation of the Mail, Internet, and Telephone Order Rule and even after being informed, customer service still claims ignorance and fails to follow the Federal Rule.
Love that I found a fairly cheap way to update my childhood glasses from the 90s! The experience was pretty easy. The only problem is the pupillary distance seems a little off, but I bent my frames a little and they seem to be better now. The tracking system is a little wonky too. It said my glasses were completed and awaiting final inspection for a week before they finally shipped. The only truly bummer was that they threw away the case I sent my frames to them in and replaced it with one of theirs. I really wanted that vintage LensCrafters case back, but I'm sure it's long gone by now. Didn't think I had to say I wanted it back. Overall it's nice to have my glasses again and would use them again if I need to.
Nice service too bad the outcome was disappointing. The intermediate part of my progressive lens is about 40% of my vision field. There is about 2mm at the very bottom with my reader prescription. Measured, that's 14mm of mid range fuzzy waste with 2mm useful reading vision. Why such a large intermediate zone? Beats me, but it makes my lenses useless for their purpose. Buy the bifocals. They obviously can't handle the progressive transition.

I submitted wrong prescription. That was corrected with correct prescription. Resubmitted at a reduced rate ($277 initially plus $193 for correction). Very happy now.
Ordered a replacement lenses about a month ago and it's yet to be delivered. I emailed (sorry - you can't call them) to follow up and was told it was due to a lab error so my lenses were delayed. Most viable companies that are customer oriented ensure having a decent Quality Control process so as to prevent production delays and respect customer's time. Also, good companies will reach out to customers to inform them about any delays on orders, I had to email to find out. Admittedly, it's a terrible first time experience and I really hope my case isn't their norm.
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
