I wasn't sure about ordering contacts online, worried I'd get a knock-off or substandard product. I'm happy to report nothing could be further from the truth. I am thrilled with my purchase, and am ordering more. :)
Bad contacts half of them so far have been faulty, I called customer service, and customer service is horrible, the person I spoke to last seemed sarcastic and mad doing her job
The contacts are fine, just like every other provider. The issue is the rebate process. It takes months. But the worst part is that you have to cut up all the boxes that you bought. So I bought 8 boxes, a year supply and it is expected that I open every box and cut out the bottom of the box where the barcode is. Now if I did that I would be sitting here with 720 loose contacts that I am supposed to deal with. They are in strip of five together, so 144 strips of contacts with a very thin foil protecting the contact. Absolute ridiculously poor policy. So I have decided that returning them is the better option. The rebate is not worth the trouble and time you have to sink into it.
A family member charged $45 PROCESSING FEE! $17 for shipping! $169 total…TWICE what Sam's Club price.
Don't believe their rebate. I submitted my rebate form several months back and I still haven't received my rebate yet. And their agent tells me that they can't give any ETA for the rebate card.
I have been ordering from Lens.com and will not order from them again. They have gotten out of control with their taxes. The taxes were almost as much as one box of contacts. I found GlassesUSA.com and was able to get 4 boxes of contacts for the amount Lens.com wanted to charge me for 2 boxes. That's ridiculous. Go to GlassesUSA.com for your contacts.
Purchased contact lenses in Feb 2022. Lens.com offered best prices because of a discount provided by a rebate. Lenses arrived within 10 days. Quality lenses, as advertised. But the Rebate took almost 9 months. I actually forgot about it. And, I wonder if they use that as part of their business strategy.
If you really need the rebate in the time that they advertise, I would not go with this company. If the rebate doesn't matter, then they are just as good as a handful of online companies offering good lenses.
It should be easier to change the address on an existing account. This delivery wouldn't have been messed up if I had been able to fix the address myself
I ordered contacts from here soly based on getting $35 gift card because i had been laid off and needed contacts but relied on getting the gift card...i did not see that it would take freaking 3 months!... that is way too long... they need to come up with something easier and faster
I went to order 8 boxes of contacts. It showed that the price per box after rebate would be $35.99 and 4 boxes for my right eye would cost $143.96 and 4 boxes for the right eye would be $143.96 there was no total but that would be a total $287.92. Since I qualified for a $290 rebate then I assumed my total would be$577.92 ($287.92 plus $290.00). Imagine my surprise when I clicked on 'go to checkout' and I see a total of $821.79 for my total order and once I submitted the rebate for $290 my total would come to $531.79 not the $287.92 originally noted before clicking on 'go to checkout.' So I did not place my order.

It took several days after filling the order for FedEx to pick it up amd then they kept extending the delivery date by over 4 days. The cost of shipping for lens.com is not worth the amount of time it takes for their carrier to get it to you. Lens.com would be better off using UPS or worst case. The USPS.
I answered in previous question. The product was inferior to the sample that I received at my doctor's office. It seems that perhaps there are different manufacturers of these contacts? Apparently I bought one that was not of very high quality.
It was seamless. I ordered them for 1/4 of the price from another place. Really helps when you're broke.
I mailed in my rebate but Lens.com claim they never received it. Yet on the website rebate center they post this notice.
Notice: The service levels of our rebate vendors have been seriously impacted by global raw material supply chain delays. Rest assured you will receive your rebate.
So, they didn't process it because of "rebate vendors have been seriously impacted..." so I'm out $95. I even pointed this out to the support chat but they just said tough luck.
I'll never do business with this company again
This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have dealt with from any company. It took 8 months to receive my rebate with no communication that there would be a delay. They had unjustifiable excuses such as "businesses have been impacted by recent events beyond our control." Their website indicates "Rebates take 8-10 weeks as they require multiple steps including fraud prevention, verification, and third-party Visa Card Issuance and mailing." They can't even commit to the timeframe for receiving the rebates on their own website. I never received communication that there is a substantial delay on the rebates which would have been an expected courtesy. I suggest not buying anything from them.
Answer: I am in the same boat. I have not received my rebate and filled out all the paperwork correctly. My order was 9/16/2021. They have not offered any assistance to help. I have reached out multiple times. They over charge with processing fees and then with the offer of a rebate... which is not easy to follow the directions. Yout have to fill out rebate form which is not available for 30 days and has to be filled out 60 days from purchase. Then 4 months later they will not send the rebate with an the response is to wait it will come... I have been hearing for 2 months.
