I was really happy to find my contacts at half the cost of my eyecare provider. Only needing one box of each made Lens.com a no-brainer over everyone else I priced them with. Then, I checked out, and realized my 2 boxes of $32 contacts cost over $110. The difference was a handling fee (charged on some orders?) that didn't line item on my invoice. When you average out the price and handling fee, the price is the same as other providers. It took three conversations with customer service to get the answer.
Lens.com saved me a lot of money! I have always bought contacts from another website and I decided to look elsewhere to find them cheaper. I found them here and they saved me almost $60! The online eye exam was a life saver. My contact prescription never changes from year to year but I still have to pay almost $200 for an exam at my local optometrist. I love the option to pay $15.99 and have an online exam every 2 years. I chose 5-7 day shipping and received my contacts in about 4 days from ordering. The only negative is the processing fee that is added on, but even with this the contacts that I ordered were still cheaper than anywhere else.

They ship faster if you upload your RX prescription but if you don't have it they'll contact the eye dr for it and if the eye dr doesn't respond in the time frame asked then they'll ship them with what you said you prescription is that you ordered

I do not understand how the price doubles with taxes and fees. The price is misleading. I have been a customer for years. This did not used to be the way it was. It's too expensive.
The "taxes and fees" have jumped up significantly. Have always been happy, but this is ridiculous. Almost $50 in taxes and fees for 2 boxes?! The 2 boxes were $64. That ALMOST DOUBLES the price of my order!
