I did a Google search just wanting to know todays mortgage rates, I had to fill out information for a network of lenders to call me. I'm not interested, I just wanted to know general rates.
I thought I would see actual rates not just a list of lenders.
Confusing not sure what was about to happen next! I felt like I was almost "lost",
I did this just to enter the publishers clearing house sweepstakes.
I wanted to see rates not have lenders contact me... Now I am stuck with my phone ringing off the wall... THANKS ALOT :(
Please make it more clear that customers are not just looking at options for a refinance when they sign up. They're giving out your contact information to multiple companies, and turning on a firehose of lenders calling, texting and emailing constantly.
This is very deceptive. It leads you to believe you will get rate information immediately but you do not. It is just a trick to get your contact information so they can harrass you.
I didn't appreciate being overwhelmed with the immediate calls
If I wanted 27 mortgage brokers calling me I would take an ad out on Facebook. You add talked about no-cost loans but you simply hooked me up with a bunch of companies to start from scratch. You talked about my privacy yet as soon as I next I had 4 calls in queue screw you
I thought I was going to see my rates, not a list of more companies to contact. Not happy. Do not call me.
