Legal zoom does not speak with you during the process of making your order. So if there are any problems or mistakes you will not know until after the fact. I was trying to start a llc. They submitted the wrong paperwork for me. And after when I finally caught the error they said they will fix it for additional money. They will not let you talk to a supervisor. They said it takes three days for a manager to call you. They are supposed to be your trusted professionals. They are just like any other corporation. Please contact a real lawyer and do not get burned like me

In the process of getting a TM on a logo. I followed all steps and action items from LegalZoom via email and telephone calls. First, they stated they didn't received the Black and White rendering of my jpeg logo file, but they had, they just missed it so this slowed the process by a few days. After the initial search was performed, I received a file for review with three options. 1. Approve and move forward with the application, 2. Stop the process or 3. Schedule a consultation with a LegalZoom attorney. I opted to speak with an attorney, and stated so in a return email. The consultation was scheduled, conducted (Great conversation with a very knowledgeable attorney) and completed on 10/29. I then replied to LegalZoom on 10/30 requesting that they move forward with completing/filing the application with the government. I monitored the progress on 113/15 (or lack thereof in this case) online and it appeared that the next steps had not been taken - specifically completing/filing the application. I called on 11/4/15 and a CSR said I never responded to the email in which they provided me with the initial logo search. I corrected him and he then stated that he then found the email from 10/30 from me. Then he tells me it takes five business days to complete the application to send to me for approval. OK. Now today, I checked the online progress of my order and it still had appeared to not have moved forward. I called again, talked to another CSR today, 11/5/15 and he said the same thing the CSR told me the day before. I asked to speak with a Manager, I was put on hold, he came back to say one was not available, but could receive a call back from one in up to three business days. So technically, if LegalZoom would have taken action on my email response on 10/30, my application should have already been sent to me for my approval. I should not have to shepherd this process and it is very concerning to me that even after two emails and two phone calls, they still cannot get it right. And, whenever speaking with a LegalZoom CSR, they insinuate that the communication breakdown is at my end. Not a good experience.

Had Legal zoom do the Standard LLC. Also had legal zoom do the standard initial reports, paid 394.95 confirmed on 8/27/15 for a report to be filed by the end of sept 2015. Paid for the services, they collected the state funds but failed to pay the state. I called legal zoom 30 days later since they sent me a reminder email. The legal zoom person on the phone verified I had paid the everything, and in order and legal zoom will be taking care of the filings. End result Legal Zoom did not pay the state fees they collected even though I paid them 30 days prior and they verified everything was all taken care of 30 days later. Talked to the state and I was fined 175.00 in late fees due to legal zoom not filing. Legal Zoom states they record calls I guess they won't listen to the calls when they are at fault. Ended up legal Zoom refunded my 394.00 on 10/19/2015 and I had to take care of it thru the state. Cannot recommended a service such as this to anyone.

Legal zoom submitted the wrong information/address when filing to the state.
I am not sure how can they file an entity with an address and city which was not even existing.

Got a call from the Legal zoom representative saying that the city name filed is incorrect and a typo. Need to re file for the address change / statement of information.
When I asked more details about the delay and asking why they cant deliver as I pay for the express Gold package, they said Manager / escalations will call.

We had 30 min of conversation, After multiple attempts of explaining the inconvenience and the loss that is caused for me because of the mistake happened from their end, All she saying is we did a mistake. Human mistakes can happen. So we are filing for the address change. (Statement of Information). We can not give any refund or can not do anything to please.

And surprisingly the team did not even find out there is a mistake / typo in the street name till now. When she tried to read the address one more time as a final check before filing with State, she mis spelt the street name and she acknowledges that is how it was filed and did not even find this even till now.

1. I don't know when all these issues will be corrected and everything will be in place to start the business planned. And I still need to pay Franchise tax.

2. I am loosing my potential customer and thus the financial loss because of this uncertainty.

3. I am paying for an Express Gold package ( 7 to 10 business days delivery) but I am not getting the product as promised on the website by legalzoom.

4. Not sure what other implications we need to go through in future. Filing taxes or any other extra paper work etc.

When asked about 7 to 10 business days, she says we put a statement expect delays from State. But this is not a delay from State this delay is happening because of the mistake from legal zoom.

It's a question about trust and credibility - when Legal zoom is not offering as advertised in writing on the website.

This is our attempt to start a business for the first time. As a beginner in this game, we dont have the luxury to spend time and money on any extra and unexpected. I believe Legalzoom will take this accountability and encourage us help to have a smooth ride.

I am very much surprised Legalzoom being a reputed company does not have a validity check for the existing / correct address. These days very small companies websites even does this when enter wrong info and will immediately throw an error.

It went very well as a means to establish a trademark/copyright. As a result, I have referred several people to the website.

With all my legal questions and needs regarding my Living Will and other related legal necessities as I enter the "golden years", with great confidence, I can always depend on LegalZoom for the best guidance.

I strongly recommend LegalZoom for legal consultation and documentation to ensure I have taken the proper steps to fulfill my personal wishes for my beneficiary. I sleep a lot better each night since I became a customer over three years ago.
