Starting a business should be the easy part, right? Been waiting on a DBA form signed by my registered agent " United States Corporation Agents, Inc. " aka Legalzoom for about a month. You can receive emails stating we have reviewed your order and should be ready within 2-3 business days. Which is understandable, BUT! They've given me excuses like its has incorrect information( understandable). Resent the email with the correct information then 2-3days later I get a response stating they couldn't open the attachment. Resent the email again and I don't get a response this time. I contacted customer service to "discuss" the issue with the rep and all she stated was the registered agent didn't think the form was legit which was the reason why they didn't sign. After I sent them the link to where I downloaded the form they finally responded with a " thank you. Your inquiry has been received by our customer care team... I have yet to receive the document I need by EMAIL! Can't start my business without the form being signed from the registered agent. It seems to me I'm getting the "RUN AROUND", due to the county clerks office here in town charges me $27 to file this DBA and legal zoom wants around $100. Seriously, I don't recommend legal zoom to anyone.

I'm starting a new business in my city. I have spent the last two weeks googling, looking on YouTube, calling my local and state licensing offices, trying to fill out applications on line and not knowing if I was doing things correctly. I have been familiar with Legal Zoom for years but I have not used your services before now. I decided to call. Jordan Leonard was my Sales Specialist, He took hours of work, frustration, uncertainty and in 10 minutes answered all my questions while helping me set up my new business. Jordan is knowledgeable, easy to understand and has excellent people skills. Because Jordan made my first experience with Legal Zoom so easy, I am truly a customer for life! I will refer my family and friends to your stellar company. Thank you, Greg Jennings.

Worst service ever. I paid almost $600 and they misspelled the business name wrong which means I can't get an EIN or open a business account. After calling them and talking to three different people they finally said it would cost another 400 bucks to fix the problem and since I received the papers in the mail I can't get a refund. On top of it all I paid them to file my vendors and any other licenses I might need, did they do that... nope. They sent me the vendor's paper to send out. They make you download the forms/permits that you have to send out. I paid for a service I didn't get.

Today began with the horrible experience with a person at LegalZoom who was not very helpful. I will leave the name of that person out of this because perhaps that person can be retrained and learn how to deal professionally with a customer, like myself. The bottom line is that after wasting almost 90 minutes with one and then a second person at LegalZoom who was unprofessional and incompetent, I asked the supervisor to assign me to someone who could deal with this, properly. Suffice it to say, Matt Moore did his job professionally and efficiently with total courtesy in class, completing the job and significantly less time than I expected. Most importantly, until I was connected to Mr. Matt Moore, I was prepared to hang up my call with Legal Zoom can contact a local attorney in Dallas, TX. Matt saved Legal Zoom. So Legal Zoom is fortunate to have him. My suggestion is for those Love you who are deciding to use Legal Zoom, that if you encounter someone who was less than professional as it is quite often the case in my experience with your "millennials" I would recommend just asking speak with Mr. Matt Moore.

I was having trouble getting my computer to allow me to set up the right entity so I called in and was able to get everything all set up over the phone!
