Forming a single member LLC was painfully slow and required careful tending on my part. I had a time line which required that I purchase their "Standard" packages of services. It was after I filled out their documents and handed them in that the trouble began. They insisted, correctly, that I include my middle initial in the automatic signature associated with my document. But then informed me that, what required a single push of a computer button, would add an additional 4 to 5 business days to the process. It took almost an hour of arguing to get them to make that single push of a button so I could revise the document.

Then, after receiving a note from them saying they were nearly finished with their review, I called up to find out the ETA of the final documents was still nearly 10 days away, literally the very end of their advertised time... a deceptive practice? Not quite but very, very close to the edge. Again nearly an hour on the phone to discover that they could send me the documents by e-mail, something I asked but was never answered until I made the point that they were close to the edge... so the bottom line, yes they did what I needed done; not in a timely manner; and not without my deep involvement. Next time I will use my local lawyer, even for simple processes.

As a postscript, about an hour after I posted the above I got an e-mail from Legalzoom saying they had shipped my documents. As I said careful tending and some pressure. Don't use them, hire a local lawyer.

Thin powers was not only very knowledgeable of my specific situation and business was needs but he stayed on the phone with me through the entire process to setup my S Corp and even talked to multiple coworkers to try and fix a mistake order I made. Legal zoom should be honored to have Thom Parker working for you. He is a very valuable resource and in the customer service field that is very hard to find. He really appreciates the work he does and also was very excited about my company idea which gave me even more confidence in the risks I'm taking by stating a new company. Thanks you Thom.

It has a very nice to know that I can continue to rely upon them in order to have all of my business needs handled properly and with professionalism.

I filled out paperwork for an LLC. A rep from LegalZoom called me (at work) and told me it HAD to be an LLP. Well, he was wrong and I lost all $700plus I paid because they would not stand behind me or what I had ordered. They said I shouldn't have changed, even tho it was their recommendation. I then had to pay them another $40 to dissolve the LLP and then went to my state website and applied for a LLC for $350.00 Much different, but my LLC cost me $1100. Just beware, they do not stand behind their product!

Answered all my questions. Clearly and concisely. Told me about the packages which was helpful.
