Initial paperwork was submitted on 26 June. On 21 July, paperwork is finally submitted to the State. You can get this done elsewhere much faster and just as cheap. Cheap it's not!

After filling out the paperwork to convert an existing business entity into another, I received a call from John Mcune who let me know he was there to help me complete the paperwork & ensure there weren't any errors. I was appreciative of the phone call. Then through our conversation, he realized that the method I was using to convert my business was likely inappropriate for the desires that I had for my company. Even after realizing that LegalZoom couldn't help me, he then proceeded to speak to me for SEVERAL minutes, helping me understand what I needed to do to complete my objectives. This was all for free, as I no longer was in a position to pay legal zoom.
However, I am so impressed by John for continuing to help me, and therefore the customer service of legal zoom, that they have now acquired a long-term client. I will continue to set up any legal paperwork/forms that I need from their site, and recommend my friends to do the same. Thanks!

They are a total scam. Delaying orders, many silly emails and calls. When you return them, they ask for more and more completely seemingly bogus requirements that don't make any sense, and then they offer they do it for you for another fee. This has happened to me now five times for a simple LLC filing, which they hadn't even started after a month. Nothing was missing, they just seem to fabricated requirements. Asked for my money back. Lets' see what happens. Take this to a lawyer if not. Stay away is my suggestion!

On 6/10/16, I purchased a service that was suppose to have taken 10 days. From the start there was poor communication, the sales representative did not fully understand the product being sold, and did not explain things like, the completion time frame possibly being 8 weeks, because it is a PLLC and that my license was needed. It was also not explained that things like emails take 36 hours to appear in their system, and faxing takes less time. I changed my business address and it took days and lots of long calls, because customer service made errors on not putting the correct information in, and in not pressing buttons to send the request over. My order update reads that my state is holding up the process, but in reality, still today, my order hasn't even been submitted to the state. About three days ago, I was offered a $210 reduction, but that doesn't cover all the time spent and aggregation, I have gone through trying to get LZ to process my work correctly and quickly, and not to mention, the money I will be losing because I can't open my business any time soon.
I asked to speak to a supervisor above Kyle and was told by customer service, that it would take about three days to speak with someone, and delay my order. I have never heard of such a thing. This company provides a service that can have a serious impact on their consumer, and it is scary to see how it operates, with people not verifying that information is correct, and customer service not understanding fully what is needed for the service, and what the last rep did on your order. I truly regret putting my PLLC in Legal Zoom's hands, and don't know when I will have this process completed, because even when the state gives a reply, it takes Legal Zoom so long to do even simple things, like except a fax, so I wonder how long for receiving mail and completing the order.

They put my order on hold already 3 times to ask more info. I understand that certain things show up during the process though I feel that they missed to ask enough details at the beginning. What is the real painpoint is they neither call nor email you once the order has issues! They say "we have a robot to call you, there must be something wrong with your phone". Not the case! I do not have a single missed call! Not to mention they could email me. Instead of saving time I have to check the order status everyday just in case.

I got signed up to do an LLC. I set up a 48 hour call back with an attorney because they only had two attorneys offered to answer my question. Both were 16 days out. Which I was told they have thousands available. No attorney called me so after a week I called in. Several days later they call and say they cancelled my 48 hour call back because I had set up the attorney appointment 16 days out. Rediculous. I have called multiple times no one seems to know what they are doing you have to wait days to speak with a manager and when I finally spoke ot one she said that was they way it worked and that I could wait weeks to talk to an attorney. I called again today and asked for the corporate number. He gave me the regular 800 number to customer care. So I went online.and found it and you can't talk to anyone. I have serious doubts about a company that won't allow you to speak to corporate. I had set up for them to do my taxes and I needed service in 48 states. I thought if I called corporate to let them know that there is a problem I would go forward. You can't talk to corporate. They just loop you back to customer service... Cancelling

I had given up on Legalzoom after they made a mistake with my LLC's filing, and it took 4 lengthy calls and multiple different CS reps over the course of 2 weeks to get a very simple problem fixed. I was really upset.
Then I got transferred to Joseph Kim, and he restored my faith in LegalZoom. He's so competent, knowledgeable, eager to help, and professional. He solved everything in 1 phone call. Because of him I will keep using LegalZoom for my future business needs. Thank you Joseph!

I called in at 5pm to get help on a new LLC with a subordinate LLC we wanted to form. From the moment Kris answered the phone, we liked him instantly. He had such a warm and funny personality, and we laughed the entire HOUR AND A HALF we were on the phone, as he walked us through the entire process, step by step, answering all our questions along the way. I've used LegalZoom for years for our trusts and such, but never have I talked to such an awesome, knowledgable customer service rep who left such a lasting impression on us. Since we were lucky enough to deal with him on this project, we will come back to LegalZoom every time we need something. Kris will be the extension I dial each and every time, so give that guy a huge raise and do whatever you can to keep him. He is worth every penny in gold.

It's been a long time since I updated my current will and I'd forgotten the email I used to login. A quick email to the Customer Service team got an immediate response and did so without a bunch of back and forth, and with someone who actually knew the answer.
