My order arrived right on time. Both the wifes jacket and mine fit perfectly. At 5 foot nine and 170 lbs. the medium was spot on but a little tight at the wrists for my hands to pass through but should get better with use. The ventilation is great and these jackets will be super on days when the temps climb above 80. Damn good looking jackets too.

This is an excellent, summer riding jacket--the mess keeps you as cool as possible while the armor is there to protect, just in case. Add to these features a great price, and you have a winner.

Can't beat the price for this jacket. Drove Atl, Ga in 80 degrees and it let the air through quite well. Only negative is it's a little bulky, but I'll take it for the protection.
Fit and finish are really, really good! The adjustability is a very nice touch and the storage pockets are easy to get in and out of! You definitely get a lot of jack for the money you pay!
Fairly new biker who wears an Xelement armored jacket that I love, however, went out with 3 other riders for a seven hour ride in 90 degree heat and just about wilted with my other jacket. I got this one the next day. It is amazing, the wind blows right through it, I've had it on when it was over 100 degrees and as long as you are riding, it stays comfortable, and still gives you the CE armor and visability I still desire. Definately a bargain for summer riding! And LeatherUp, as always was great to work with!
The jacket seems fine, except for one small complaint. The pocket that the elbow armor fits into tend to snag my fingers when I'm putting on the jacket. Other than that, the jacket is cool enought to wear on our hot Tallahassee afternoons, a BIG plus. The fit is good. I got an XL, and I am the typical FMAWG (Fat middle aged white guy). Over all, a good value!
Nice jacket for a 95 deg day. The cuffs are a little tight going over my hands on the 2x but it is comfortable to ride with.

My husband is VERY satisfied with this jacket and so am I. The leather jacket is too hot during the summer so was riding without a jacket which can be a major safety issue. He says the jacket actually cools better than not wearing one. Once you start moving and getting the air flow it circulates throughout. With dark color it gets pretty dang hot sitting still as anything would but almost like AC when you start to move. Once you atart wearing it for a bit the shoulder armor starts to conform to the body but moves around initially. He is 5'8', weighs 185 and got the large - he likes the fit but I feel he could have gone with a medium. So if you decide to wear in winter I feel you could easily fit something like a sweatshirt underneath.
Quality in our opinion is excellent. So far we have been exceptionally pleased with all of our purchases from LeatherUp. We have never had to return anything but I know we would receive great customer service if we had to.

I live in Kansas City, and our temps have been 100 plus for several weeks. This is the best cross between protection (although I hope that I never have to put it to that test), and comfort (since it allows lots of air flow). The elbow pads tend to poke a little when first getting it on, and the sleve buckles can catch the straps on my backpack when getting it off, but to me that is no issue, since I would not ride without it in these temps.
I live in the DFW metro area of Texas. At this time our temps are hovering around 100-105 degrees. This jacket is the best thing since indoor plumbing. Yes, it's warm but not unbearable and when you think about the protection afforded by the jacket wearing it is a no brainier. The jacket is comfortable and looks great. I'm putting in an order for the better half to get her one too.
Great jacket. Looks really great as well. Wore it when it was 80 degrees and felt great. Very light and it really does allow a lot of air flow through the jacket. Great buy! I'm 5'5" and medium fits just right.
Just what I need for over the cool vest. I ordered an XL but had to exchange it for a 2XL and then it fit fine. Haven't used it on a run yet so when I do I'll repost.
