Wow what a great old school leather jacket for the price.
Great jacket nice fit and finish keep up the great work
Very happy great jacket good fit and very nice very heavy leather. Will love riding all year round in it .
Great value and quality. I'm 5'10 and weigh 230 and got the 3x. Fits great, maybe just very slightly too big but I'd rather have a little room for an additional layer if needed.
I'm 5'11" and 170lbs with no tummy. Ordered Lg, fit good with light shirt.Would be tight with sweater. Love it! Graet look. Fast delivery.
Received my jacket 4 days after placing my order. My first thought after opening the box was "this jacket should cost three times what I paid. It is truly a great jacket - heavy and substantial, but should be comfortable in warmer weather with the liner out and the vents open. Sizing is somewhat of a crapshoot... but after reading several reviews, I made the right choice. I am 6'2 and weigh around 270. Athletic build, but with plenty of beer storage out front. I ordered a 4X, and the fit was fantastic. If I were going to use it as a fashion accessory, I'd say that the sleeves are an inch or two too long... but in a normal riding position with my arms around shoulder height, they are perfect. I couldn't be happier with my choice. Thanks for the great service and awesome product.
Nice jacket. I purchased the large. I am 5' 8.5", slim build. Longer in the legs. The large fits great. I would not want to go smaller and would only go larger to wear a hoodie under it. I plan on loosing 2 inches in the belly and that will be fine but I could also gain 2 and be OK. If I expand my shoulders it gets a bit tight across the top.
The length front and back is just fine and the arm length is perfect for riding position.
Here are my measurements per the Size chart:
Front Length: 18" neck to belt top. Shoulder: Little over 7". Back Length: 21 neck to belt top. Sleeve Length: 25"
Chest: 42". Waist 37"
I think this jacket is very comfortable and will wear well.
This jacket is fine for out on the town when a biker style might be a bit out of place, yet 'cool' enough to hang with the boys.
Then again I'm over fifty so what do I know about cool, thus the retro, like me.
I also think its a good look for Euro bikes as an alternative to the Harley look.
Definitely get at least one size larger. Also remember motorcycle jacket. The sleeves are supposed to be a little long for when you stretch out and grab the handle bars.
I am 6'1' AND 225 BODYBUILDER. 2 XL WAS PERFECT.
The zip in/out lining is an added benefit plus the Gun pocket with retention strap! Had no idea this was there.
Will buy it again if i EVER WANT ANOTHER ONE!
A very decent jacket for the money. There seems to be a whole range of comments and reviews regarding the sizing and fit. I'm 5' 10", 185#, average build (a bit of a paunch, but that's life). Using the size chart it indicated that I should order a size large so I did. It fits just the way a motorcycle jacket should (my opinion) reasonably snug without a lot of excess room around the collar, waist and sleeve cuffs to let the breezes blow into the jacket. The liner is (again my opinion, pretty useless) since if it's cold enough to use the liner a better option would be to leave the liner out and add a sweatshirt under the jacket. It seems to be quite well made although only time will tell. There is no double stitching or bar tacking at any of the stress points so that may be a problem down the road, but, again, time will tell. Typical of virtually all jackets for some unknown reason they install the zippers (pockets & vents) so that up is the closed position. Probably because that is the norm for the front zipper on a jacket. This is contrary to the basic rule called gravity and a smart manufacturer would install the pocket and vent zippers so that down is the closed position using gravity to ensure that they don't open while riding. Back to the jacket... The leather is actually heavier (thicker) that I had envisioned and the additional layer on the shoulders and elbows is a plus since those are the usual contact/slide points. In summary, this is a very good buy for the price, has all the required features without added "gizmo's and should last reasonably well.
I normally wear a 2XL but had to get a 4XL and it is snug in both the chest and waist. That aside and the fact that it is super heavy, it is a beautiful jacket. The brown leather is gorgeous and you can tell this is a durable coat for riding in cold weather. I haven't broken it in yet so I am expecting it to fit better later. It has a great gun pocket built in which I love. It is super great for the money. You would have to pay twice as much or more for a jacket this beautiful.
Love my Leather jacket, after i read alll the reviews moved up one size to XX. I am 6 ft 3in
230 lb# 38 waist almost flat stomach, Every thing in my closet is a XL Very happy use it when
ride my old Harley. Good Luck
Size definitely runs small. My XL Wilsons Leather jacket fit almost as tight as the 4XL. I got a 5XL and it fit well.
I am satisfied overall, but found a few characteristics that I wish were different. However, they are in the realm of acceptable to me.
First is the elbow patches. I got a 5xl, but that is because I am overweight- not overlong. My elbows are right on the top rear seam of the patch. For me, it would be better if the elbow patch were about 3" closer to the shoulder area, instead of being closer to the cuff. I don't know if they are 'right' or not, but they feel too close to the cuff.
Also, the seam on the inside of the collar isn't rolled under or finished- just stiched. Over time this could become a fray issue.
Lastly I wish I'd known that the zip out lining was a vest lining- no sleeves. I went from a jacket with sleeve liners to one without. I am not in a cold climate, so the addition of the rear vents MORE than makes up for it, but I wish I'd known.
HOWEVER, for the overall cost and the fact I get a better vented BROWN leather jacket, in a style I love- I am MORE than content. The details I identified are acceptable to me, considering the price-point. Just don't think it truly is the quality/fit/finish of a $600 jacket for $170.
It is a $170 jacket that is nice!!!!
Again, I am good with it. There are issues, but they aren't worth a return to see if I got a bum steer to wear [as it the tailer was off that day]. I just believe in being accurate in my evaluations.
I'd buy again with NO hesitations- great shipping and service [on my return of the 4xl]!
It is great jacket for the cost. Only drawback is getting the right size. I am 5'11", and had too go to 3X, other leather coats from here I got a 2X,.
Have had a pair for over 3 years and they are still going. Keeps me warmer and drier than chaps and just as easy to put on.
Good quality leather. A bit bulky to sit in, but I'm hopeful that will fade as they wear over time. I have a 34 waist and a 36 in these was just right. LeastherUp.com did an exchange with no hassel.
After a six hour ride in 50 degree December weather, I was a comfortable as riding in jeans on a warm spring day! Heavy leather, easy to get in and out (with my boots on no less), plenty of pockets, and great looking gear. You will not beat this quaity for this price anywhere.
Extremely happy with these pants, better than expected. Exactly what I was looking for and exactly as described. Fast shipping and a very fair price. I would definitely buy them again.
Excellent value and quality. Even my local leather shop couldn't believe the price!!! Most important-fit for the waist/thigh. The length is supe easy to change. I wasn't sure about buying clothing online, but I am stunned. Leatherup will definitely have my business again. Thanks guys-nice job!!
good quality, just kind of baggy so it might be odd if you don't take them off when you get somewhere. plus i'm6'4'' and i had to take off about 4 inches from the bottom to fit. but all in all good for the price. love to throw on over my gym shorts and head for my work out
I bought these leather over pants for my boyfriend. I was really impressed with the thickness of the leather and how well they conformed to his body. I wish they made these for women!.
Good quality leather, zippers and fit. Great shipping too! Got them in 2 days.
Answer: Leather can be stretched some what if it's wet. But you should seek a professional cobbler to see if they can be stretched before you try it. Quite honestly you won't have much luck with customer service I found. They're very obnoxious, unhelpful and generally not pleasant to deal with. I wish you good luck
Answer: This is why Revzilla.com, denniskirk.com, and motorcyclesuperstore.com are so popular. I called each of these companies before and spoke to an actual person who had the product in their hands while talking with me.
Answer: You unfortunately made a bad choice doing business with this company. Go check their reviews. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I'd be amazed if you get ANY response from them at all! Sorry to tell ya.
