The best boots I ever bought no break in period what I like best is the wind don't blow my pant legs up while I'm riding
This is the second pair of these boots the first pair is the 8 inch short shaft and they are 4 years old and holding up great. The new pair is the 13 inch shaft and right out of the box they fit great and quality is top notch. Others have noted that they run big, I haven't seen that. I have wear 10.5 in a boot and these fit perfect, not tight or loose just right for a heavy pair of riding socks. the leather is very heavy and should last for year. Xelement has made a great boot and there chaps are good too. Once again leather up has saved me 100's and the quality is great, will buy again without question
Have had a pair of these before, and lasted me 3 years. I'm hard on boots, so that's impressive. However upon receiving my new pair, I found the arch support to be on the wrong side. Customer service does not respond in a timely manner, very disappointing from a previously trusted store.
I ordered two pairs of boots, these and the brown crazy horse model. I keep my dress shoes at work and commute on bike daily so I really like slip on boots for the ride. I really like quality of materials on both and the lugged sole on this boot but color and fit of the crazy horse so I'm keeping those. Both boots run a little large, about a half size as some of the review would suggest. I need the extra size as I tend to do better with wide widths. If it were not for the color black, I would have kept these over the browns. I did notice however that the materials that came with boot suggested an inside cushioned sole that was clearly not in the boot. Crazy horse model had the inserts. You can put your own inserts in so overall really nice boots.
I will say i was concerned about buying boots on line . But now im glad i got these from LU . Very well make and they fit great. Didnt even have to brake them in but one day.
As other reviews state - boots DO run 1/2 size larger. If you wear a 10, get a 9 1/2 etc...
Have not broke boots in yet, however compared to the Fryes we've had for the past 20 years - they appear they'd hold up.
Purchased because needed lug sole, but love the comfort of the Frye - so far they're comfortable. Have had for about a week; hoping they're just as durable.
Hands down the best riding boots I've ever owned. The 10.5 size ran true for me, but the boots will stretch over time so you may want to consider a half size down if broken in boots aren't comfortable for you. If you have large calves and are a shorter person, the boots may be a little too tall to fit over your calves but the leather will wear and stretch slightly to accommodate.
The lug soles are durable and give good grip on the roadway and in loose rock.
Overall these boots are well put together, durable and worth the money.
I bought these boots for my husband and he loved them. They fit well and are durable. They looked great and have a great grip. He said they are a little heavy, but worth every penny.
Great boot! remember to order a half size down of what you regularly wear in a shoe. I wear an 8 1/2, so I ordered a size 8. Couldn't ask for a better fit! Nice, durable, leather boot for safe riding. I love the ring-bickle ankle supports. Great product, again, from Leatherup! Love Leatherup!!
I bought a pair of size 10 and they took about a week to break in but now they are very comfortable. There is no problem of the boot feeling loose or falling off my feet, and I love the lug sole.
great boot. very nice. very comfortable. does run a little on the big on the size. but overall very nice. awesome price and service from LeatherUp as always.
They were a bit large, but my husband decided they would be OK, since he's not planning on doing that much walking in them. He said they are heavy, but they serve their purpose for a motorcycle boot. He likes them!
I went a half size smaller and probably could have went a full size smaller. Excellent boot. It feels broke in already likely due to being a little big. I think adding a another liner would fix that. I really like these boots because I was using hiking boots to ride with.
Quality boot. Perfect fit. Comfortable, and good looks. Couple of rub downs with saddle soap really softened them up for me. Will purchase again.
I was a Little skeptical about ordering Boots online . My feet are a true 10. So I ordered a 10 m and I got the boots in Just about 1 week . I opened the box and the aroma of Leather Was a Great surprise,. I unpacked and immediately, put them on and , The fit is perfect and the Feel is awesome ,almost no break in . Blown away by the Quality and Cost !!! . Darin in Inola Ok.
Great value, good looking boot, it was very comfortable right out of the box.
Fit out of the box. So far so good. Have only had them a few days so time will tell durability but for now am a happy camper. or biker as the case may be.
Wow, what a deal!! This is a better biker boot than I could purchase at our nearest HD dealer...and $100 less. Excellent overall quality. Great looking. Very grippy on the road. Other reviews stated the size runs big. I wear a 10.5 and that's what I ordered. Great fit and looks badazz on my Street Glide. DO NOT spend over $100 on an HD boot.
I was very skeptical about ordering boots online, since I can hardly buy the right size in store, but I ordered my shoes based off the size of Ariat boots i own already, and they ran true to size. Breaking them in was easier than I expected. After only one evening in the shoes, they were already broken in quite nicely. Caveat, make sure the first couple of times you wear these boots, you wear black socks, or the dye will stain your socks. (lesson learned) Aside from that, great boots, and exceptional price. I have already recommended the site and boots to other friends.
Good product. Leather up actually had to send me a 2nd shipment because 1st one was lost by USPS. So it took over 45 day to receive...way late for Christmas. Ordered a size smaller as recommended and length wise they fit but they are a bit narrow and seem lose on the heel.
Answer: Leather can be stretched some what if it's wet. But you should seek a professional cobbler to see if they can be stretched before you try it. Quite honestly you won't have much luck with customer service I found. They're very obnoxious, unhelpful and generally not pleasant to deal with. I wish you good luck
Answer: This is why Revzilla.com, denniskirk.com, and motorcyclesuperstore.com are so popular. I called each of these companies before and spoke to an actual person who had the product in their hands while talking with me.
Answer: You unfortunately made a bad choice doing business with this company. Go check their reviews. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I'd be amazed if you get ANY response from them at all! Sorry to tell ya.
