I tried the jacket in L and XL. Unfortunately I had to return both. XL was too wide and L too short. Im a thin person, 6'2".
When taking the jacket off I also pulled the liner out. This might happen and can be annoying.
Other than that I wish I could have kept it. Great jacket for price.
Excellent motorcycle jacket for the price. Light weight, yet rugged enough to keep the elements out. Great for summer riding. Not made for cold days but works great for the cool mornings with the lining that is provided. Can't beat it!!
This is very nice for the money. Lots of pockets and armor. Seems like good quality. I feel well protected. It's not very warm, even with the liner, and it's short for me.
The jacket looks and feels amazing I gave it 4 instead of 5 for two small reasons. 1, for me at least the cuff of the jacket seems a little tight, not sure if its supposed to be that tight or not just seems tight. still can ride comfortable but long distances rather a little looser. and 2, its definately meant for warmer weather, absolutely comfortable in anything above 75 degrees but as the miles rack on below that just keeps getting colder. I would be totally confident in recommending this product to anyone who rides and doesnt love the look of sport like jackets. The materials are comfortable and looks solid. Thanks leather up for supplying a great cost effective jacket.
Great jacket, I can make it a snug fit so no "wind abusing flap". The armor is molded well so i don't notice it there. Great price too!!! A brother in my club tryed it on and is ordering one too...
I purchase this jacket a couple of weeks ago and its one of the best purchase I've made, the jacket is light weight and comfortable and the zip out liner is just perfect for those cool night rides when needed. I recommend this jack to anyone who wants a nice looking and light weight riding jacket.
Personally I like this jacket - but sent it back because it has not a stitch of reflective piping. Good price, OK quality, good fit, but I'm not driving at night without an edge. Had the silver one but sent it back because the liner zipper crapped out and the liner wouldn't install anymore.
This Jacket is well worth the cost. Styling is top notch and similar to jackets that cost hundreds more. I am a large rider and had to send the jacket back twice and finally got a 5X (I'm 6'3 270lbs) but the staff at leatherup were helpful the entire time and the 5X is perfect!
Very stylish, not as light as it looks, but not as hot and heavy as leather. Don't like the elastic "sweater-ish" sleeve ends, but you'll get use to them. Overall, a VERY GOOD buy for the buck and built extremely well.
This is a really nice jacket - especially for the money. I got it for warmer weather riding, and the Tri-Tex breathes really well. Jacket is nicely designed: pockets, adjustable tabs, etc. The ONLY thing I didn't like and couldn't get used to was the elastic cuffs inside the sleeves. I eventually returned this jacket for a similar product.
It's a nice coat for the money. What it's not is a rain coat, it has mesh in front and back. Great for warm to cool dry riding.
Great Jacket. Light weight, good ventilation. Still a bit hot in 90+ but duh, it's a jacket and feels fine when moving. When I bought it I didn't even know why it had a liner as I bought it for a summer jacket but now as the summer winds down, it makes sense. Going to work @ 6AM it is about 20 cooler than the afternoon, so the liner helps a lot and comes out easy. It is so small it can fit almost anywhere. (except in the pockets) I am 5'10 150 lbs, all my other jackets were larges so I bought a large and this one fits fine, breaks right at the hip. Inner cuff can be a bit of a bother getting on and off over watches but it is such a trivial issue it is hardly worth mentioning. Rain rips right through the jacket, but duh; its mesh. Looks good, slim, not too bulky. A great value.
Better than I hoped for! I'm 6'1, 170, thin and lanky - the XL is perfect - long enough arms, with enough adjustment for my skinny frame. Jacket looks great and has nice mesh lining on the interior. Good for a 15 mile commute in 45 degrees with the quilted liner and only a tshirt underneath; also wore it in 90 degrees comfortably. Snaps for liner could be better/stronger and are unmarked so it's a bit confusing to get the liner in. Also, the velcro on the neck sticks to my helmet lining when not cinched up - I put a piece of felt on it to prevent this. BTW, the coat is all black - even though it looks slightly gray in the pics. Fits great, looks great; for the price it can't be beat.
Great jacket. Can be a bit warm in Texas summers when over 90 degrees, but I definitely like the safety features, the light weight, and the ventilation (you definitely can tell the ventilation is great). I'm 5'10" 160lbs and got the large and it's a perfect fit. Very pleased with it and like all the pockets. Easily washable in gentle cycle (which is good, because in TX summers, you can sure sweat a lot). I use it with a reflective safety vest I bought from LeatherUp when riding to downtown Dallas to work. I saw a very similar jacket at the Harley Davidson dealership for some ridiculous price of $245 or so. Obviously, at LeatherUp's prices, this is a great value.
great jacket. Fit good but the first warm day I unzipped the liner and the zipper fell apart
First time experience with Leather up and I'm very impressed. The jacket is very comfortable while riding, with no restrictions when turning corners or curves. My jacket is comfortable on cool mornings with the liner in and cool on warm summer day with the mesh outer shell. I will shop with Leather Up in the future.
This is an amazing Jacket. I am 6-0 of fairly slim build (170 lbs) and I bought a large and it fit me perfectly with liner in or out. I am very impressed with the workmanship.
Nice jacket! Very stylish, fits perfect, breathes well. Liner helps a little in colder weather, but if temp is less than 50, it won't keep you warm. I encountered a problem with the attach point in one sleeve (button/loop) which tore off the first time I took the jacket off. A quick sew repair fixed it, so no problem. Overall, 4 stars.
I like this jacket, it's very comfortable and it is good for use in the summer season and winter season too. I am happy with this item
Nice jacket very fast shipping i bought 2xl thinking it would give me extra room but i should have ordered 3 xl. It does fit but not alot of extra room. Wore this on a ride last week temp outside was 36 it kept me warm.some of my friend will be shopping at leatherup.com now
Answer: Leather can be stretched some what if it's wet. But you should seek a professional cobbler to see if they can be stretched before you try it. Quite honestly you won't have much luck with customer service I found. They're very obnoxious, unhelpful and generally not pleasant to deal with. I wish you good luck
Answer: This is why Revzilla.com, denniskirk.com, and motorcyclesuperstore.com are so popular. I called each of these companies before and spoke to an actual person who had the product in their hands while talking with me.
Answer: You unfortunately made a bad choice doing business with this company. Go check their reviews. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I'd be amazed if you get ANY response from them at all! Sorry to tell ya.
