I love the chaps, they arrived much faster than i anticipated! The waist fits great ..however the "comfort thigh" that is supposed to stretch is kinda a joke; this is due to the fact that the inner liner (when attached) "Does NOT stretch" like advertised. That was one of the big sellers for me, as i have large thighs. The 3/4 zipper is of good quality and the snaps held the last 1/4 closed at 65mph in the rain and wind. 85mph in ideal weather. They kept me mostly dry...after i baked the chaps @ 175 for 15 minutes i applied a generous layer of mink oil, after that....i stayed dry as a bone.

I would over all give these a 4 1/2 star rating.....the thighs in the chaps need a little more stretch. ...fix that ...and they would qualify for me in the 6 star range!

Great price for this product. And LeatherUp had them here in only a few fays.I have shopped many places, and this is by far the best deal I have found. Leather is decent quality. Only criticism is that they are very slim in the legs. I am 5-11, 195lbs and athletic build with 32" waist. I followed the advice of others and bought 1 size up in the waist. Size 34 works great in the waist, but the legs are very very tight. I will keep them and likely remove the liner. Just be aware. Overall, I absolutely thi k this is a great buy! Todd

Great fitting quality chaps. Very comfortable as well. I really like the removable liners. Had to take an inch off the length but that was not a problem...just used scissors. I my take another half inch off later after I see if they stretch. I got the size 34. I am 5'6.5" and 160 lbs. with a 32 inch waist. The size 34 gives you additional lacing holes in the back that can be adjusted. The size 32 has less adjustment holes. Well worth the investment.

These are awesome! After reading multiple reviews and ordering two sizes up based on what my thigh measurement was i realized that what I needed was only one size up. I'm 6'0" 195lbs. My waist is 34" and length is 32' and my thigh measurement is 24.5" Based on reviews I ordered the XXL or 42's since the 40's were out of stock. after watching a couple of videos on youtube about how to fit your chaps, I reordered the 38" chaps and they fit great. Not too loose or to tight. I know they'll stretch a little and looking forward to breaking them in. Hope this helps.

I own another racer jacket in Black. It has seen a lot of sky and its fair share of asphalt, it has served me well. But when I saw this jacket, I was taken back, felt like a kick in the head. Bad Brown leather in a tapered fit, extra long arms, vented and insulated, and the Mayhem and skull! I had to have this jacket. But I waited, well not for long. it went on sale and I could not resist any longer. I ordered it without telling the old lady. No fear but when she saw it, she asked me why I waited to order it. Its the best jacket she had ever seen. Hope the old jacket doesn't get jealous! Fit is great I am 6'3 230lbs usually 42-44 long I ordered the 2xl. Its a little large but if I wear anything thicker than a shirt, sweat shirt, sweater, etc it is perfect. Looks great, good weight to it, fits great, great deal. What are you waiting for a special invitation? The price is that! Go for it! Don't ask the wife's permission, just get it. When I lean forward on the bike the sleeves are a little long, just right. Can't wait to add some metal to the side expanders and put some miles on this cowhide too. Come on Spring!!!!!

I bought this jacket (my first LeatherUp purchase) based on the graphic and the style, thinking that the price might mean its flimsy and thin, but if that's the case I'll just wear it casually, as opposed to riding with it. When I received it, super quickly I might add, it shocked me how substantial and thick the leather was, and how totally made for riding this jacket is. In fact, I won't wear it WITHOUT my bike, as its just so epic and beefy. I love love love it and have zero qualms about buying further items from LeatherUp. If you are even entertaining the idea of buying this, you should. The price is ridiculous and the quality is though the roof. It really feels like a $600-$800 dollar jacket. I know that if I have to lay er down, I won't have to worry about my body. How much would you pay for that kind if security?
