The price is great, the quality appears to be substantial, but I had problems with the placement of the zipper. It's on the wrong side!! All other boots I own with zippers are on the side of the boot that faces inward. I had to cut off the flap that covers the zipper on top due to the pain experienced when sitting on the ground or crossing my legs. Due to the fact that the zipper is placed on the side of the boot that faces out, it is pushed up against the ankle and is severely uncomfortable. It also makes it difficult to unzip the boot due to its location. Plus, the zipper is non-functional due to my inability to slip my foot in and out by simply unzipping the boot. I just have to remember to not cross my legs or sit on the ground with my legs crossed. Otherwise, the boot is a decent purchase.
This is the second time I purchased boots through Leatherup. Love both pairs. Laces were a little long, but the fit is great. Thanks for the excellent products
Nice boots at a good price. I usually wear either a 9.5 or a 10 and these in a size 10 are just right I would need a 10.5 if I wore thick socks with them.
Great style. It will take you a life time to wear out the sole. Exact fit. As always with Leather Up on time delivery.
Well pleased with the boots. Pretty stiff at first but are loosening up with wear. I was worried about the laces flapping in the breeze but they can be tucked behind the strap on the side of the boot. Laces could be a bit longer to make that work better. Good stuff from Leatherup!
Fast shipment, true to size. The sole and heel look taller in the picture than they really are. I needed them due to being vertically challenged on my new Road King. But overall a very nice boot, especially for the price.
Very nice boots, comfortable, durable. Great traction on loose surfaces.
Originally out of stock item so must have ben popular. Now I can see why! Iimply entered a notification request thru LeatherUp and got an email when available - nice. Absolutely a great boot, not just for the price (which is exceptional), but also the quality and fit. Do not understand the "stiff" and "break in" comments. Wore them right out of the box first time for 8 hours, both riding and hiking around a park with no trubs. You do need to unlace a bit for easy slip on/off with just the one sided zipper but hey, just leave them on if you don't like that. I can definately see these boots lasting for many years. VERY pleased with the buy. Thanks LeatherUp.
Haven't worn them much yet since I only got them 3 weeks ago..... they seem nice and well crafted, I ordered my true size and they seem just a little big but really not an issue (would hate to send back, order half size smaller and then be too tight!)
What I notice to be uncomfortable is the top part when walking, they rub my lower leg...But, then again they are new and not broken in yet. Just, that has never been an issue with any other boot I have tried.
All in all they are really nice looking and am sure once they are worn awhile they will feel fine..
great boots and fast delivery real happy with the boot thanks
these boots are great and comfortable....1/2 the price of Harley boots
Fairly comfortable. I could see wearing them for about half a day of walking or a full day of riding. The zipper is a little stiff, but I'm sure it will loosen up over time. The only real problem I had with these boots is that they have no grip in front of the heel, so my feet were sliding toward the edge of my chrome pegs. If you have pegs with no grip to them, you might encounter the same problem.
Very nice boots! Good quality at a good price. I usually wear size 11.5, but I bought the only available size 11. To my surprise, they fit great! They look rugged and durable. the reason I gave it a 4 on features is that I didn't like the hooks for the laces and then switch back to holes; very bad design in my opinion. But I can live with that, as the price rules!!. Overall, I would recommend these boots to anyone looking for a great pair of boots:)
These are nice enough boots but not great boots. I purchased size 11 because of the reviews that stated the boots were sized larger. When I can get 11 1/2 they have always fit if not then 12 works with an extra insole. Had to exchange for a size 12 which fit perfectly which means to me the boots were actually size 11 1/2. Leatherup pays shipping back to me but with the cost of paying shipping to Leatherup these boots could have been had for less at a local store. This is a good place to buy good quality boots for a reasonable price but that only is true if the first pair fits properly.
The size 12 are comfortable enough and seem to be well made although it is too soon to know for sure. The zipper does not open wide enough to get the boots on/off without messing with the laces. The problem with this is the laces cannot be tied and tucked in a way they will not be able to catch any protrusion on the bike. This means these boots will be a PITA to put on or take off for the rest of their natural life. They are therefore not good biker boots but would probably be good for hiking.
I'm not very happy with Leatherup boots in general any more because they had some perfect medium high biker boots that after several tries I found a pair that fit and were good quality but then they stopped supplying them. I'm not so sure it is worth starting the search and trials over again.
I usually wear a size 12, I had to send the 12 back and get a size 13. Fits great. Good deal for the $$$
I wish I could of got them in 11-1/2 but, they are a very good deal. Only other thing in the negative would be they turn your white socks black, I'm sure from the leather dye. Never had that happen from a pair of boots. But they are over all, really sharp looking!
It looks good and is good quality material. My issue is the zipper when closed presses into the ankle and is uncomfortable and must be lowered below the flap to make it more comfortable. I don't understand the excessive length of the laces. Either cut them down to size or buy a 54" length. On cold days the rush of cold air will come through the laces and heavy socks should be worn which may call for a wider boot. I like the boot but will have to compensate for the issues.
Great pair of boots, love the price and the fit is true to size, at least for me it is. Good quality leather and very comfortable.
Thanks Leather Up/Xelement!
The boots fit well and they feel good on my feet. They seem to run a bit small, so give yourself a little leeway on size when ordering. Also, the zipper is not quite big enough for me to be able to put them on or take them off without unlacing them. Everything else is great and I would recommend them.
I bought these boots as a change from my full length lace ups. I wear a 13 in most all footwear so got these in a 13. They fit good with summer socks and being I have a narrow foot there is room for me to wear a good thick sock for winter. I rated durability one star only because I have not owned the boot long enough to rate that aspect. I am able to keep the boot laced and use zipper and snaps put on and remove. So far the only negative thing I can find with this boot is on the inside where the snaps are mounted to boot. There is no padding on the inside of boot around the ankle, thus you feel the metal snap rubbing against your ankle. I am pretty sure I read about this problem in another buyers review as well. This problem can be resolved easily so nothing major there. Other than that it is a good boot for the price.
Answer: Leather can be stretched some what if it's wet. But you should seek a professional cobbler to see if they can be stretched before you try it. Quite honestly you won't have much luck with customer service I found. They're very obnoxious, unhelpful and generally not pleasant to deal with. I wish you good luck
Answer: This is why Revzilla.com, denniskirk.com, and motorcyclesuperstore.com are so popular. I called each of these companies before and spoke to an actual person who had the product in their hands while talking with me.
Answer: You unfortunately made a bad choice doing business with this company. Go check their reviews. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I'd be amazed if you get ANY response from them at all! Sorry to tell ya.
