Great vest, just ordered another as my first vest has American Legion Riders colors on it now. Just wanted something plain to wear when I want, so I ordered a second. Good fit. Highly recommend.
On June 25th I received the vest that I ordered on May 25th. The first one they sent was a size 44 mislabled as a small. The sizing on these vests are already poorly figured. Anybody who thinks a size 42 is a small must have a size 52 beer gut. Isn't that what the adjustable side lacing is for?
The quality/cost of the vest , however, is great! It has more pockets than some motorcycle jackets. It holds my Baretta & extra clips, a small flashlight, my cellphone and wallet. With a pocket or two left over. The leather is thick without being stiff and appears to be very durable. The stitching and lining are very good. All of the snaps and zippers work smoothly. I expect it will hold up for many years. And it looks great. I wear a size 40, but who knows, I'm only 63... maybe someday I'll grow into it!
Just realize that whoever sized these apparenly assumed you are planning to wear a winter weight sweater underneath. But don't let that stop you. If you want a good deal on a great vest. BUY IT!
Only had the vest a few weeks but it had a fairly large blemish in the leather. Fit and cost excellent but overall excellent vest for less than $40 just wish it was zip up instead of buttons but not too bad at all.
This vest is WAY MORE than I was expecting - especially for this price! Very heavy leather, nice liner, graeat pockets - a NO BRAINER! Even a cell phone pocket. All the lacing, zips, snaps - works as they should, get a lot of compliments - I am a big guy so having the laces that I can adjust was great to fit properly!
Wow....this is an incredible vest at a ridiculous price! The fit is just right. I love all of the pockets. It's well-made. I just can't believe I got such great quality for $30! If you need a great vest, then this is it!
Great quality for the money. fit is nice and love all the pockets. Only issue I have is with the concealed gun pocket. has it on both sides with an elastic band for gun and extra mag; however the elastic band is horizontal in the pockets making it very difficult to load and more importantly remove a gun from the pocket. Would work better if the elastic was on a 45 degree angle (bottom front to top rear) to make loading and removing an easier movement.
The price of this vest is great. All the pockets (7) are good. The ties on the side are a little cheap, but easily fixed with a couple of leather boot laces. The gun pocket on the small size will fit a 1911, but getting it back out is a little tricky. All in all this is a good vest.
I ordered a 4XL. In most gear I wear a 3XL but I wanted to be able to put this on over layers. It's WAY smaller than advertised. Barely an XL size at best. It's worthless to me as I can't button it up. This was my first and most likely last order with this company, which is a bummer because it would have been such a great deal if it fit!
Vest looks like it cost way more than what it did, I get lots of compliments on it, no one ever believe how much it cost. 100% Happy with my purchase!!!!
well after receiving my Vest I checked it over and as it was mentioned very well constructed I was very pleased with the vest itself overall as I normally would wear a2 XL somewhere I read the reviews that it did Run a little big not true it FIT me snog than my normal 2x I was hoping to be able to put a sweater under it with a hoodie but I do not think it will work that way so yes if you are a XL or XXL go with the one size bigger than normal if you think you would like to put a sweater under it thanks for taking the time to read this review if you decide to buy the Vest you will not go wrong
This is an Excellent value bar none. BUT THE SIZING IS OFF. Bottom line if you are a solid this or that size, order 1 up. I am a solid XXL not a high side or low side XXL and it will not fit unless you never plan to wear anything under your vest. I have every intrention of the proper sixe vest fitting over a hoodie or a leather jacket. To do this with the size I ordered (my size) I would have a 5" gap on each lace side or use extenders to their full gap. No worries I have alreay sent it back and as with everything I have ordered through Leather Up they will get it sorted and shipped PDQ,

This is one quality made vest. Fits perfectly. I ordered a large for my build. I'm 6'3, 190 lbs. and no gut. I did have to tighten up the lases for summer riding. Of course I'll have to let the lases out to acomidat a sweatshirt for cooler rides. The snaps on the front are nice and heavy and they close and open with normal pressure. The 2 gun pockets are very nicely constructed with even a pocket for your smartphone. I love the look and feel and smell of this vest.
For anyone who is considering purchasing this vest, BUY IT!!! You won't be disappointed.
Great vest for the price. Fit perfectly. I ordered the size I would normally wear and it fits great with room to wear a hoodie underneath if desired.

Great vest for the money! Like other people have said in their reviews, I would definitely order larger than you normally wear. Lots of pockets and I love that. Just remember more pockets usually means less places to sew on patches. This is not my first nor will it be my last order from leatherup.

High quality vest that fits as you would expect. I could not believe that they were selling the vest for onlu $30 but then I noticed the sipping to Hawaii was $60. Really? I had to get it shipped to someone on the mainland for $5 and they shipped it to me for $20. Otherwise I am extreemly happy with the vest.
Fits true to t-shirt sizing. I wear a large and that's what I bought. Fits great. Looks great, too. Worth every penny I spent on it. See them in local stores for $70-$80. Very happy with shipping time. Nice pockets on the inside, 3 total.
