I ordered this bag to take to Daytona bike week, I chose this one because it was the only bag left under$100.00 that wasn't sold out. The bag was very large and roomy, I didn't need the Barrel bag because there was room to spare in the main bag when packing for a 4 day trip. The only negatives are that the bag has no structure, when empty it has the same consistancy as a leather jacket. Also, it would be nice if there was an integrated handle on the top of the bag to carry it to your hotel room. Overall though, this is a good buy! High quality leather, handy side zipper pouches and quick to put on and remove from the bike!

I ended up returning this bag because of a broken zipper. Instead of getting a replacement, I traded up for a nicer Xelement waterproof bag which I like WAY more. The leather quality of this bag is excellent but the zipper quality is terrible. One of the external pocket zippers separated on my first trip and the top zipper felt like it was close behind. Also, the way the roll bag straps buckle to the lower straps at a common mount point (see front center of picture) puts considerable pressure on the leather at an awkward angle. I felt I was going to tear it when simply securing it to the bike so that is a bad design in my opinion. The included rain cover would work in a pinch and fits over the bag even when expanded. The bag has no internal support so if you don't load it all the way, it sags considerably. Overall, this will work for some people but I wouldn't expect it to hold up over time without some zipper/strap repairs. Also, there were several design flaws which were a deal-breaker for me but I am picky so take that with a grain of salt.

The bag is of very good quality. I have not used it on a ride yet, and I do agree with several comments pertaining to the straps on the back rest, they are very long and most likely not needed. I did strap it on when I received it and it felt very secure with plenty of room. Only one problem, one of the side zipper pockets was faulty and the zipper did not work. The return process seemed too much of a hastle to send it back, so I thought that I would keep it and would be able to live with 3 side pockets.

Love this bag, which I bought in May, 2010 here, the price was $10 more than it is now, didn't realize I hadn't reviewed it yet. I have taken many trips including 5 trips from Oregon to Sturgis (3000- 4500 miles each time) using this bag, it has been holding up well with just a couple of places where stiching has been week (on one of side bags and on main top zipper). Bag has handled the weather great, I use Skidmore leather cream, actually only stopped just once to use the rain cover that comes with bag and I have ridden in many rain and thunder storms. Took a two week road trip through the West and Southwest last year, this bag a tail bag and toolbag were more than ample for my clothes, cameras and small laptop. For just me this bag is all I need for a week long trip, key to packing it is to stuff it full, sometimes I put a small bedroll in the barrel bag but it works great if I roll my shirts up and slide them in it. I also found that using the strap that I use to loop back and under my tail rack works great as a shoulder strap for carrying the bag. Am thinking of ordering another one of these as price is definitely right and mine won't last forever.

Awesome product, fast shipping, great quality and very reasonably priced! The only reason I gave it 4 stars overall is because, as so many others mentioned, it has lots of straps and it should come with some sort of instructions on what to do with them or at least a video. I figured out what to do with most of them, but I'm still baffled on others.

The quality of the leather is so great, I couldn't believe the price! Both the barrel bag and the luggage bag are very roomy. It also comes with a couple of extra straps and a rain bag to cover the luggage bag.

Definitely a "steal" of a deal!

High quality leather bag for a very reasonable price. Soft leather heavy zippers that work if they are treated correctly. There are plenty of buckles provided for fastening the bag to the bike in several different configurations. This bag is not a rough and tumble bag. It is a gentleman's bag and if treated properly and not abused will provide service for many trips. Used on a 1,000 mile trip held a weeks worth of street cloths. The bag expands 2" front to back if needed. A rain cover is provide and it works adequately. For the money I am very impressed. the fit and finish are excellent. I don't hesitate to recommend this bag to others. It's not built for abuse but is perfect for packing and carrying clothing on a trip.
