This helmet I ordered a bit large, so i could use a liner in cold weather. Sized for ba doo-rag inside, leather or light beanie, to make this helmet more useful. The color is great, a bit of metal flake silver in the paint. a rear reflector built in, smooth working sun glass option, and the clear shield comes down enough for good coverage. Do not expect quiet from an open bottom helmet, but it's fine with ear plugs-- as should be worn with any freeway helmet. A good value for the bucks, i have other open helmets, and this one works as well as some $150. ones i use. Good color for my triumph 955i, not exact but complimentary and functional.

Bought this helmet a few months ago. It has been very reliable and holds a charge for a pretty lengthy amount of time. Full Bluetooth stereo and speakerphone. Phone doesn't work well unless you are going 35 mph or less and the speakers can be hard to hear at highway speeds. The intercom feature works great linked with another Hawk Bluetooth helmet. Used it during a trip from Kentucky to Alabama and back, about 800 miles all together. Helmet did not need to be recharged the entire trip. Dropped it once and other than a scuff, no problems and the Bluetooth functions fine. Even though the speakerphone function doesn't work extremely well, the ease of use and value earn it a 5 star in my opinion.

Really like the look and style of the helmet. However, the Bluetooth communicator was unable to be attached using the spring-tension device, so I had to use the adhesive-backed interlocking plastic teeth. That seemed to work just fine. Haven't had enough snow to get out on our sleds since receiving them...but the other set we have worked perfectly up to about 50 yards away from each other. Fit was a little smaller than I would have liked

This is an awesome helmet. Fit is good and snug. I get lots of compliments on this bad boy. The X1 works great for me. I don't mind the Velcro to stick it on the helmet. I had to add pads to the ear speakers. They are hard. I went to the dollar store and cannibalized a cheap pair and used that foam. Now they are comfortable. Wife says I sound clear at 70 mph on the freeway when she calls. I recommend this combo to anyone. I weare a large and that is what I got and it is perfect. Great buy!!

The graphics on the helmet are constantly always being complimented by many fellow riders who think its a highly priced modular helmet. The glossy finish, red stars/white skull stands out. I even wear a skull mask in the cold morning underneath it with the face up to see the cage riders expressions and then close it during highway runs.

The helmet is lightweight but seems really flimsy compared to my old Shoei full face helmets but is very comfortable during long rides in the slowly warming temps of Central Texas. So far 80 mile run today round trip through the hills/freeways. Strong winds at times and there is really little head buffeting if you know what I mean. Vents on top worked great and chin vent keeps visor ventilated and clear.

Dual visor is nice but cheaply made. Seems like after a few days of riding with the helmet the tinted interior screen cant seem to stay up during night riding. As long as yours clicks and locks in place it will be fine.

I say A- on modular design. A on sizing and fit. Quality and durability is maybe a B-/C. Graphics are super A . The price cant be beat for DOT. Its worth the buy. Thanks for the great deal "LEATHER-UP!"

This helmet was an amazing buy and Leather Up had a fast response time on my order because it was at my house in 2 days! The best thing on this helmet is the flip down visor. I use it all the time in the morning and afternoon and being able to open the front of the helmet really makes putting the helmet on and taking it off a breeze. The venting is good from under the helmet but the vent cover on top whistles a little when it's closed while riding. The outside size is a little on the bulky side and I feel like the length front to back is long, but the inside fit was spot on for me according to the chart. Overall, excellent choice and I'm looking forward to purchasing from this site again!

worth every dollar, the flip up duel visor is the only way to go, the sun shield is great & that meens you wont have to stop & put sun glasses on.

the fit is a bit tight around the jaws but should loosen up in time. i got my helmet before i could open my door, like in two days, i wasnt even expecting it but when i was checking it transit it said it was delivered, & it was. wow great service. i will tell all my friends to shop here. thanks leatherup. steve jackson

i ordered this for my dad..he was stoked.fit snug,comfy,didnt squeeze where his glasses wouldnt fit right .said its the best helmet hes ever owned.and hes had over 20 years to make that decision.its ready for whatever condition.awesome graphics gets plenty of compliments and everyone wants to try it on and not take it off.took it a min to figure out the tinted visor so i guess it was good to read the instr. def get what you pay for!

This helmet is the greatest, its like having 2 helmets in one and for someone that wears glasses its really great. I rode a couple hours on the interstate with full face keeping the cold and bugs off my face when the sun came out I just pushed the button and down came the tinted visor no sun glasses over my glasses and when the sun went behind the clouds and it began raining just push the button and raise the sun visor out of your way. When I got off the interstate on the mountain roads at much slower speeds and wanted a 3/4 helmet for a better view I just moved the full face up out of my way and still when the sun came out just lower the tinted viser and at all times I was able to wear my glasses its just totally great and to top it all off I get lots of good comments on the graphics.
