Good tip to order a size larger than you think - I got an XL and it fits quite nicely where other brands I wear a L. For a $100 helmet it's pretty nice. The speaker sound is not high quality but works well with rock music as I'm going down the road. Don't recommend hip hop - too tinny, not much bass and hurts my ears. The microphone does not work at all while riding, my wife says I just sound like a buzzing noise. When stationary the microphone is sufficient. All in all, I think this was worth the price.

this helmet fits tight the bluetooth speakers work great but the place of the mic is in a bad place on the right cheek of the helmet so it get muffled when u have the helmet on so u cant talk on phone and u cant get a tinted shield for this helmet they dont make one i bought the one this website pulls up for it without noticing it was the wrong one so now im stuck with it or pay to ship it back to leatherup by the time i do that i will have abut the same amount i paid for it in shipping and the clear visor does not fit like it should it has a bigger gap on left side when closed at the top so if i had to do all over i would stay away from this helmet and this site

I was very skeptical of a Bluetooth full-face helmet for (after discounts applied) under $100. However, this is a great helmet. The speakers are good enough to listen to music, or even podcasts or audiobooks, at speeds of 70mph. However, the one warning is definitely upsize! I had read the reviews going in, and since I normally wear an "L", I ordered an "XL". It is very snug. even for an "XL", even though I have a shaved head. So keep that in mind.

I bought this helmet to replace my HJC CL-16. My CL-16 came with the Pinlock insert which works very well against fogging. Unfortunately, this CL-17 did not come with the Pinlick insert and LeatherUP.com doesn't stock the Pinlock product for this helmet. Otherwise my rating would have been 5 stars. The size chart was accurate for me and the fit is very good. The DOT Snell rating is all I could ask for. The fit and finish are good, have held up well on my CL-16, and I expect them to hold up well on this CL-17. The airflow/venting are superior to my old CL-16. The overall value is very good. Only problem is no availability of the Pinlock insert.

I bought this helmet to replace a old 2XL Shoei. According to the size chart I needed a 2XL, however Shoei & Arai both were too tight and uncomfortable after 10 minutes or so. My local shop had plenty of high priced helmets and was pushing for me to buy the "best," and I probably would have if they had been comfortable. Then I thought about the fact they were all DOT approved and decided to give this one a try after reading a review in a motorcycle mag. The HJC CL-17 (3XL) felt great from the first second I pulled it on! And to make the deal even better I saved over half of what I was going spend! After a 65 minute ride I found it to be almost silent compared to the old Shoei and it has great ventilation! I have been buying from Leather-Up for years and have had to return an order or two... never have had a hassle, great customer service!

Sizing was correct for me when using the sizing chart. Good looking helmet, came with the clear visor, tinted visor, and a peak as well as chin/mouth curtain. The helmet is very good looking with a nice finish. The larger shield makes for a unique look, as well a much improved range of vision. However the helmet does suffer from fogging primarily when at a stand still, once you're moving the air gets in just enough under the chin to allow it to circulate. Another option is to crack the shield up a bit. The removable chin a unique feature to allow the helmet to have a modular function its nice, however the fin that connects to the helmet binds up the shield at times so either it will bind up and end where it's supposed to, or it will bind up and bend to the outside of the fin and not close properly. In all the helmet has it's ups and down, but it is a good helmet for the money especially for the improved range of visibility.

I just received these very quickly from Leatherup. Unfortunately we have salt on the road and lots of snow on the way. I wore these boots around the house for a couple hours and they appear very well made and sturdy. They are extremely comforatble right out of the box. I will update after I have had a chance to test tme but they appear and feel like they may be the best MC boots I have had to date. Time will tell. Won't give 5 stars until I have tried them in the field.
