Replaced a Bilt that didn't quite work out and upgrading from a previous Hawk that was equipped with BT but wasn't compatible with my new GPS. This one fit great but the release button is rather stiff. After a long day it seemed difficult to press the button properly to release and flip it open. If you hear a vibration when riding at high speeds, reach up and push the vfent piece on top open and the noise stops. Did a 3,249 mi trip in 19 days over 12 states in the SE USA and worked great for all weather types. Even when I got caught in a wash out in AR during flash floods, no problem when I went down. It dried out quickly and saved my head! Love my Hawks!

Great helmet for the price. Fit is really good. Seems to be right on for the size chart, if not very slightly bigger. I had a large HJC, which was a bit tight. I bought a large in this Hawk helmet, and it fits perfect. I love the inner drop down visor. It's so convenient. From the construction, you can tell it's not an expensive helmet. When the modular front is up, the sides by your ears easily flex. It also has much more wind noise than my last helmet. One other thing I noticed is that it fogs up easily. Can't beat it for the price, though. I'd purchase again.

This is an excellent helmet for the money. The interior visor, breath guard, venting, and flip-up design are exactly what I need for riding in any weather. The visor can be worked with gloves on, as can the flip-up part of the helmet. The chin strap is quick-release, but the strap itself is a little thin in my opinion. The front of the helmet seems to sit a little heavy on my head, but for a long trip it isn't all that fatiguing. I bought the flat black model, looks very stylish. The under-chin flap of fabric will keep the cold air out during the winter. Hawk seems to have thought of everything with this helmet, at an unbeatable price.

Leatherup is CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ordered this shield (which works great and was easy to install) but they sent me the clear shield accidentally. I installed the clear shield because my old shield was too scratched for my ride down to Daytona that weekend. Because they sent me the wrong shield, Leatherup let me keep the clear shield and sent me the tinted one I ordered for FREE! I will continue shopping with you guys and recommending you to others.

I agree this is an outstanding helmet. It shipped fast, got it in time for my trip too San Francisco. The 1700 mile round trip with this helmet went fantastic, even took a few calls while diving on the freeway at 85 MPH no problem. At 85 I can hear the music, but not the finer notes. Under 55 I can hear everything. It's light my neck didn't get tired. The battery lasts great, varies depending on if you have the music playing. I even charged it with a backup battery while riding and listening. I would highly recommend this to my friends and have. The only thing that was kinda weird was when I power it off it says "Power on" but no big deal there.

This is a wonderful package from Leather Up. I have made other purchases from LU and always have been impressed with their service, packaging, rapid delivery and overall great products.

My only disappointment was with this Helmet-Bluetooth connection. The plastic pieces that are intended to hold the Bluetooth to the helmet do not work. Fortunately, the Bluetooth also comes with a sticker thing that is supposed to attach the Bluetooth unit to the Helmet. The adhesive isn't very sticky and doesn't hold the Bluetooth to the Helmet. After some minor manipulation, the Bluetooth works well. If you guys are able to improve the attachments for the Bluetooth, This purchase would have been perfect.
