I've needed a pair of "breathable" boots for some time. After researching the available products, I selected the FirstGear Mesh Lo and I'm very pleased with these boots. The size guide was spot on for me, the quality is there, and a pair of gel inserts really adds to the comfort level. A few reviews mentioned laces being "too long" but by using the side loops provided in the area of the instep, the laces are the correct length and the boots fits even better. Props to LeatherUp for fantastic pricing and amazingly fast delivery. Now if we can only get some warm weather...

Good boots, better than I expected. I was expecting the boots to be kind of flimsy and soft. But they are just the opposite. They are moderately stiff, offer good protection in the toe box, comfortable for long periods of walking. I ordered size 11 but they were too tight in the toe box, exchanged for size 12 perfect fit. The shoe strings are a little long but not annoying long, I just fold up and place under the velco strap. Overall the boots are decent for the price, light weight, and good quality. I highly recommend and would definitely buy the same boots again.

It is a simple power splitter, one end plugs into the Heat controller (or other power source). The other end, the dual plugs, plugs into the glove/glove liner. This is plenty long for anyone except maybe the jolly green giant. After trying a hard wire approach, I decided to run it inside my jacket with the glove connectors through the sleeves and the power plug out the bottom of the jacket. This worked well for me and simplified dealing with the extra cable length. You may have a better solution, but this works for me.

First rate boots! I rode in 68 degree weather today, warm for this part of the Pacific Northwest this time of year, and the ventilation was very noticeable. A very light, comfortable boot with protection througout. My shifts were solid and true, thanks to the toe shift patch. My previous boots did not have any extra firmness built in and over time, the shift side of the boot became very soft which took extra effort to make my shifts or use the heel shifter. The velcro secured strap that goes over the laces get in the way of tying, but I just use the opposite foot to hold it back, a little akward, but it is a minor detail IMHO. Overall, a great warm weather boot, and I may pick up the weather proof version of this model for those 'inclement days'

I ride a Yamaha V-Star Cruiser/Bagger and the boots look great with jeans or when wearing my First Gear Overpants. I wear a 13 and the fit was just a little firm in the width, but in the three weeks I have worn the Mesh Lo's, it has stretched ever so slightly, and now fits perfectly.

Ordered them from leather up and bought the middle of the line and they fit great, look good and feel more durable. Worth the extra few bucks for middle of the line. Even at that they are cheaper than the local store and manufacturer. I'm 6"1" and was concerned about the pants length, I wear a 32" and I wear a 35 length sleeve. and ordered it even though the size chart shows different. They were plenty long and so were the sleeves on the jacket. They fit good over your street clothes.

I bought my bike used and it had a set of Cobra pipes on it. The bike ran okay but lacked off idle power. Low speed maneuvers were difficult and starting smoothly on a hill. I runs so much better now. I also adjusted the valves and synced the carbs while I was doing everything, but I believe the Jet kit did the trick. I have to get an angle screwdriver to fine tune the PMS screws and it will probably run even better but right now it is doing well with the recommended preset. this was money well spent in my book.
