The zipper gets caught/stuck on its teeth every few inches, but otherwise I've very happy with this comfortable and very breathable jacket. Perfect for SoCal weather. The liner was easily removable. Buy the size you normally wear for regular jackets/sports coats. The arms come long, so if yoo go too big, you'll be swimming in it. I ordered too big since riding jackets usually are too tight around my belly, but this Xelement has plenty of adjustment for your midsection. I had to exchange my jacket for a smaller size. I emailed Leatherup.com customer service and never recieved an email responce. I had to call Leatherup customer service many times (not getting through/no one answering/voice mail full) to confirm I was doing the exchange correctly according to the return/exchange info page on the website. It all worked out in the end but customer service is a nightmare with Leatherup.com But I am pleasantly surprized of the quality of Xelement products.

More times than less I tend to worry when it comes to purchasing boots online, due to the fact that you can't actually try them on or hold them in your hand and really feel the quality of the product. But I was very happily relieved of all worry once I opened my box of Xelement boots. Not to mention they arrived in three days as predicted. The first thing I noticed when I pulled one from the box was the leather the boots were made from. I was amazed with how soft and smooth they were without a single blemish on either. The leather was also as thick as I had hoped, and all the seams are stitched straight and true without any little stragglers hanging out. Not to mention theres a very little amount of seams on the boot. I've learned from previous boots that this is a great sign if your looking for a pair to last. The dense sole and heel are very securely fastened to the bottom and have become one of my favorite features of the boots, there dense and thick enough to last a long time but still grips all surfaces I've stepped on so far wet or dry. The in-sole That came with the boot is pretty decent quality and is made of a thick foam type material similar to memory foam. They are easily removable and replaceable but stay in place when walking and removing your foot from the boot, they are also very comfortable and give plenty of support to my arched feet. I love that the boot doesn't have a sock type liner like most do, as over time that type seems to separate from the interior of the boot and can become a hassle when removing them from your feet. As for the break in process and over all fitting I was pleasantly elated. When I first slipped them on I started to worry the we're to loose, but once I wore them a day they felt perfect. If ya have slim feet I'd suggest ordering a half size down. They arrived a few days before I went to Disneyland and I had forgot to bring another set of shoes, amazingly enough 14 long walking miles later my feet were still relatively happy. I've owned them over a month now and rode my bike all over the place with them and I've barley noticed any wear aside from a few little scratches which were more than expected. I've have been given multiple complements on them and Over all for a 100 dollar pair of boots they are absolutely excellent and can't be beat. Amazingly enough higher quality then some expensive name brand boots I've blown money on in the past and I really couldn't be happier. Thanks leather up and Xelement!

First of all LeatherUp is unmatched in quality, value and customer service, thank you for that. Now on to my review. The chaps were much better than I expected. They were perfect and easy to trim to get the length perfect. Sizing is the most critical for buying an item like this on line. I am 6'3, 250-260lbs with smallish legs. My waist is near 39-40 and my thighs about 25. I ordered a 42 which was perfect. The chaps fit perfectly over my jeans and were not too tight in the thigh area. If I left the thigh zippers open I would have room for a pair of thermals under my jeans with still enough room for comfort. The leather is soft and flexible and out of the box does not bind at all. Over all a fantastic value. I did adjust the back with the lace through eyelets to tighten them up a bit but still perfect fit. Just thought I would share in case anyone else built like me would benefit from my sizing experience.
