The company has garnered a solid reputation for product quality and value, with many customers expressing satisfaction with their purchases, particularly in terms of craftsmanship and timely delivery. However, customer service experiences reveal a significant concern regarding slow response times and difficulties in handling returns and refunds. While some customers eventually received resolutions, the inconsistency in support has led to frustration. Overall, while the company excels in product offerings, enhancing the efficiency and responsiveness of customer service would greatly improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Bought these for my adult daughter who has a 2015 Road Glide..
She loves them... 1,000 miles away and still a dad...
I like the style of these boots. The "distressed" look is achieved by painting light tan leather boots with black paint. There was some shiny finish on the boot as well and the boot appeared more silver than gray in person. I felt like I was wearing KISS boots, or 80's hair band boots. I colored the boot with some black leather dye and black shoe polish to give it a more subdued look. The construction is durable and heavy duty. Other than the shiny silver look, I like the boots.
I've bought a bunch of Xelement gear from here, and it's been consistently excellent quality. These boots are no exception - possibly the best boots I've bought. The fit is perfect, the construction is robust and the materials are high quality. Virtually no break in was required and the insoles and lining are extraordinarily comfortable. Be aware though that these boots are VERY tall and not very wide at the top, so if you have large calves you might struggle to zip them up all the way.
I bought the brown distressed boot about 4 months ago and was so pleased that I bought the black. So comfortable yet tough rugged construction. Perfect fit.
This previous review says it all and I couldn't agree more.

The boots fit my legs and feet really well. I will have to wait until I have some riding weather before I see how they stand up. So far so good.
love the boots. great fit but the sculls on the strap on the back of the right boot are upside down not a prob though good conversation piece though.
I have purchased a number of items from leather up over the years and have been extremely satisfied with the items. This being the third pair of Xelement boots. These boots are quality made fit well and last almost for forever. The first pair i gave to my son and he is still wearing them. The second pair i still wear and when i saw this pair i decided to purchase because i liked the extra height, design and color.i am extremely pleased with all aspects of this pair of boots except for one small issue. The toe of the boot is higher because of the thickness of the sole and makes it difficult to toe shift the shifter on the stock Harley factory setting. The shifter is adjustable and a slight upward adjustment allows the toe of the boot to clear the the up shifter and allow the clearance needed to work the toe shifter to up shift. if you are a heel up shifter these boots will not be an issue.
Great vest. I bought it to put my entrance pass in a visible spot when I ride into work so I don't have to fumble for it and it works well for that purpose. The clear plastic cover to it seems a little thin, but it works well so far.
I like the vest design and materials as the previous reviewer noted. My only issue is it runs a little large for me as the velcro side compression straps don't seem to be very applicable unless you are supposed to wear thick clothing underneath the vest. Overall happy as I can ride and not be completely swimming in perspiration like I previously did in my full coverage jacket in the summer before purchasing the vest.
I like a lot of Xelements products because of design, materials, & affordabiltyI have purchased 3 items from the manufacturer. Thanks again LeatherUp!
I bought this vest for my girl friend. It fits her very nicely, has good room for a few patches and she likes the reflective piping. Great quality leather
Exceptional value. I placed my order and received it promptly. The jacket is exactly as described and definitely my style. I like things that are built well and this this jacket is no exception. I'm not the type to write a review but since I was so well pleased with the product I figured, why not?
This is one great jacket! It's nice and heavy and you can't even tell that it has armor inside but it does. It looks like a nice old leather jacket but in fact its high tech safety gear. I love the fact that it has a zip out liner. Living in Texas, it's nice to be able to take it out as well as open up the hidden zippers for ventilation. I still can't believe the crazy low price I paid. Jackets like this are selling for $600 at local bike shops. The gun pocket is also a big reason I purchased this jacket from Leatherup. None of my local shops had anything with these kinds of features.
Just like other ratings- except for one thing-The snap tab for the left sleeve liner ripped out when my watch got caught in the liner when taking Jacket off in the 2nd day off use....
This is a very nice, heavy jacket. Seems to be well made. Especially for the price. I'm 6'3" and 205 lbs. and the large fits perfect. Snug, but not too tight. As stated by another review, the waist is a little loose in comparison to the overall fit. Not a deal breaker. Springfield XDM 9mm fits perfect
Love the coat. I wear a large and ordered a large and it fits perfect. The conceal pocket is awesome as well. Fits an M&P Shield 9mm no problem. I was shocked at how nice the coat was.
Just received my jacket today. I usually wear a large and so I ordered a large and it fits great. I am 6 foot and about 180 lbs. Also I bought it during a sale so it was $20 cheaper than normal. Great product leatherUp. I shall return.
Very nice jacket for the money, would definatly recommend it.
I think the biggest questions most have is around fit, so I thought I'd touch on that.
Im in my 50's am a little over 6' tall and weigh 175 lbs. Little scrawny but broad shouldered and long armed. I typically wear a large although I often find some jackets very restrictive in the shoulders and short on sleeves. Not the case on the XS-1550, it fits very nice, even with a sweatshirt on.
I don't ride so removed the armor as well as the lining, it was a little tighter with those in but not bad.
Nice jacket...
Received the jacket on time as promised. First impressions were that the jacket was heavy weight leather, coloring (distress) is great. Fit is perfect by the chart and I love the way it looks and feels. Only two issues that i have with the jacket is that the zippers are a bit small and hard to get hold of when wearing gloves. This is an easy fix by adding a leather tether to the zipper (no big deal). The other issue was that there were a lot of loose threads in the lining. Not sure how this is going to affect the long term quality of the lining of the jacket (will it come apart or not??). For the price (Harley would be charging over $400 for this jacket) this is a great buy and a great value. Have not tried the gun pocket yet, but I feel that the loop may be to hold a soft holster rather than the gun itself.
Have order from Leatherup before and have always been happy with my purchases. This Jacket is absolute quality. Great design and awesome fit, Went off the fitment chart for sizing :) I am 5'9" with slim build 77kg and the small fits perfectly ;).. Sleeve length is always a worry when buying a good bike jacket but didn't need to worry at all with this.. Cheers and will shop with you again...
Answer: Leather can be stretched some what if it's wet. But you should seek a professional cobbler to see if they can be stretched before you try it. Quite honestly you won't have much luck with customer service I found. They're very obnoxious, unhelpful and generally not pleasant to deal with. I wish you good luck
Answer: This is why Revzilla.com, denniskirk.com, and motorcyclesuperstore.com are so popular. I called each of these companies before and spoke to an actual person who had the product in their hands while talking with me.
Answer: You unfortunately made a bad choice doing business with this company. Go check their reviews. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I'd be amazed if you get ANY response from them at all! Sorry to tell ya.
