Great fitting boot, just a little tight on top of center foot. Broke in fine. Rear straps not needed.
Better than I expected. Fit is good. Is a little hard to get under the shifter, but an adjustment to the shifter took care of that. Not real cold here yet but so far so good on keeping my feet warm.
great motorcycle boot for the cost. Well designed and durable......
These boots arrived a little late due in part to weather, but when they arrived I put them on easily and they fit true to size. Only one minor thing I noticed, when I wear them, it is a little more difficult to get my foot under my shifter, so I am forced to use my rear pedal shifter, or work a little harder. Also like another review, the center of foot is a little tight, but should work out on break-in.
OK!!.....Could not pass up the price. What a deal! Delivery was in 2 days. I ordered Sunday night, and they were on my doorstep Tuesday afternoon. Incredible. ---- Fit is a shade large, but don't order a smaller size! These are lined, so must run a bit big to fit all the liner and padding inside. These are well built, with heavy stitching all around, and screws in the heel (I removed the Xelement tag, thought it looked silly). They are, as others have pointed out, somewhat tight across the top of the arch.--- I used the old Army trick, of them with HOT water, letting it soak a little before dumping out, and as soon as I could get them on without burning my feet, I was off on a day long ride to dry them out. They stretch fit perfectly and feel VERY comfortably, thanks to the soft lining. I did use a Dr Scholls gel sole to help stretch them out, but left those in since they feel better for walking.--- No trouble with my shifter room, and I checked to see if the extra top leather actually hit the shift bar, it does.---- The large heel does have one problem; It hits the road before anything should. I'll street grind off the edge soon enough, and regain clearance for future left turns! ---- I did not rate their durability(one star), as they only have a few hundred miles so far. But, as I said, they look to be well made, with heavy leather uppers and heel stack, and oil resistant soles----- No doubt, another excellent deal from LeatherUp.
Real nice boot...Heavy and sturdy...so glad I bought them...size is perfect...buy it, you will not be disappointed.
Wife loves the boots. The quality & craftsmanship, as with all Xelement products, is excellent. She will be riding wearing these for a long time.
Size runs a bit large but adding a nice cushion insole makes a difference. Seems like a very sturdy boot but have only ridden with them once. The fit is a little tight across the top of the foot but I expect that will work itself out as they get broken in. I have always had good luck with ordering boots here and this is no exception.
These run just barely small. I wear a 6/12 to a 7 (I purchased size 7) and they fit SO perfect on my feet! I unfortunately can't wear them riding because the top catches on my horn when I shift...but I kept them anyway. I love them! They look and feel great!!
I love these boots. I usually wear a 9 to 9 1/2 in men's boots. I ordered a 9 and they fit like a glove! I love the way they look while I'm riding my Harley! I love how they feel and with the side zipper, they're on or off in a split second. I am so happy with these boots!
Having now owned boots from Milwaukee Boots and HD, I can make the comparison - noting that these boots are the most comfortable boots right out of the box among all that I have owned. I have feet that really fit an 8 1/2 boot, but I always add a specific insole into all shoes and boots I wear, so buying the size 9 worked perfectly. Based on this, I would say they fit true to size. They may be slightly tight far a day or two of all-day wear, but they quickly molded to my feet. Have only had them a few weeks and have ridden maybe a dozen times for about 500 miles total wearing them, so I cant speak to durability, but they still look brand new so far. The zipper makes them easy to put on a dn take off without touchiong the laces. The crossover strap hold your tied laces perfectly underneath them so nothing flaps arouns while riding. I wasn't sure abou the finish until I wore them, but I really like the distressed look.
Strongly recommend!
Excellent boot. It fits great, very comfortable and the side zipper makes getting them on and off quick and easy. The inside soft cushioned sole makes it absorb the shocks of walking or standing, and makes the shoe feel good to wear for hours. Also the outsole makes the boot feel very stable when riding my motorcycle and planting my feet solidly on the ground when at a stop. Great product, I'd recommend them to anyone.
Exceptionaly pleased! Usually don't send reviews. Had given up on boots, bulky and uncomfortable until these. Super boot, exact fit to size. Highly recommend. From leatherup superior quality as always. Thanks!
Wow I love these boots...comfort, fit and finish is great. Want another pair but currently sold out-still waiting for notification to get another. One more thing...never got as many compliments as these boots do.
Love these boots! They fit nicely and I like the zipper feature as I have joint issues that makes it difficult for me to tie my shoes/boots. I was a bit concerned initially that the b0ot finish would get easily marked up by the shifting lever on my motorcycle. Pleasantly surprised that after two full weeks of riding the boots don't have any shifter bar marks on the top of the boot. The boots are lightweight, fit to size and very comfortable. Excellent buy!!
First, the jacket itself is super nice. It seems well made, lots of pockets, vents, etc. And Leatherup has been great.
But we find (got it for my husband) that they run very small. My husband is 205lbs and 6' tall, but is pretty lean and muscular, not fat. But he has never worn anything in a 2XL. We first got the XL, thinking that should be plenty big enough, based on all his other clothes. But it was quite small. We returned it for a 2XL... surely that would be big enough. We just got the 2XL, and it seems only slightly larger... still just a tad small for my husband. He could live with it, but if we were in the store trying clothes on, he would have opted for one just a little larger. Still thinking about what to do.
But again, the jacket is nice. Just runs very small.
Nice jacket. very well constructed. I like the color. It goes great with my yellow helmet. It does fit snug but that is how I like it. I normally wear a large and I ordered the XL but sent it back for the L. It fits perfectly without the liner and since that is how I were it most of the time I kept the large. It feels pretty good even with the liner in. Went riding Saturday with liner in and it was just fine.
for the price this jacket is fantastic. being a bigger guy i had to order the 5x it fits nicely. It is a little warm on hot days but there are vents and the lining comes out to make it a little cooler. I still find it hard to wear during the summer days but nights and cool days its just right. the protection it provides is great. though i have yet to go down, i would feel alot safer with the jacket on if/when i do go down. I have had several comments already on how sharp it looks with my black and yellow bike. it increases visability during night rides an overall is a great buy. would recommend to anyone in the market for an affordable jacket.
Great Jacket. not 100% windproof, but it is textile. Keeps you dry in light rain. The lining is warm enough for temps in the 40's without any additional insulation.
I was involved in an accident and was dragged for a few yards under the front end of a jaguar. This jacket (a) protected my upper body from the initial fall, and (b) it had only minor scrapes and came out fully intact after taking quite the beating. It's a played a big part in me walking away with only some bruises and scrapes! Thanks to Leatherup and Xelement for selling quality products like this!
Its a pretty sweet jacket. I live in Los Angeles and it breathes enough during hot days to stay comfortable. Protections feels solid. Definitely a good product for the price.
Answer: Leather can be stretched some what if it's wet. But you should seek a professional cobbler to see if they can be stretched before you try it. Quite honestly you won't have much luck with customer service I found. They're very obnoxious, unhelpful and generally not pleasant to deal with. I wish you good luck
Answer: This is why Revzilla.com, denniskirk.com, and motorcyclesuperstore.com are so popular. I called each of these companies before and spoke to an actual person who had the product in their hands while talking with me.
Answer: You unfortunately made a bad choice doing business with this company. Go check their reviews. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I'd be amazed if you get ANY response from them at all! Sorry to tell ya.
