Jacket fits small and short. I'm 6'6"...240...... I normally wear a XXL, but had to order a XXXL and the jacket still fell short of my waist. This is basically a summer jacket.....very thin. If you were to hold it up to the light, you can see straight through it. It has paddiing in all of the appropriate places, but it's too thin for my taste. If you are looking for a thin, breatheable jacket that offers protection in the major areas, this is the one for you. but to me, it's just too light and thin to give me confidence that it will protect me in the slightest fall.

First thing that impressed me with this jacket was the quality. To be honest, for $60 I wasn't sure how nice this jacket would be. I was pleasently surprised with both the construction and materials, the fit is nice too. I'm 5'10", 175 lbs, and typically where between a Med and a Large. I bought the large in this jacket and it's perfect. What others don't mention in their reviews is that you can cinch all the straps down creating a snug fit for t-shirt riding, or loosen all the straps out to accomidate extra space to wear layers for cooler riding. With straps loosened I can easliy wear a sweat shirt under it for cool morings. Thanks Leather Up!

Been wearing this jacket for about a month here in hot/humid Nebraska. The jacket is high quality and lets air in through out the entire jacket, which is great. I normally wear a large so I ordered a large and just right, with just enough room for something underneath, but this is a summer jacket so whats the point of that?

Armor is great and sits in the right spots and you will quickly forget its armored once the jacket is on. 95 degree day the other day and with this jacket I was cool as a cucumber (while moving) can get a little hot at stop lights, but its worth it as it looks cool as hell and your got some good protection.

My only complaint would be that when you button the neck up its a little rough on your skin as you turn your head side to side, could have used something smother around the collar, but other than that, the jacket fits just right in all the right places.

I like this Jacket because it is really lightweight. This is a mesh with armor. It can be worn under any coat or sweater to give you that super hero look. So I would recommend this to anyone who already has a favorite leather jacket, but feel they need armor underneath for the ride. I am 6'3" 195 lbs, and my son is 6'3" 140 lbs. I got the XL for myself and the Large for him. I could wear both and look good, but the Large was a truer fit. I can only wear a t-shirt with the large though, nothing else. Good Purchase for summer protection.

I received this jacket in a couple of days after ordering it and really like it. Really makes a difference riding in hot Texas summer weather except of course in city traffic when nothing but an air conditioned car will keep you cool. I only wish it had some contrasting color to it for visibility as I like to be easily seen when in traffic. I have been told, "if you can't afford to loose your skin keep it covered" so this is as close to riding without a jacket as I can get and still follow that advice.

This is a great jacket! I got it for summer use here in Texas. The airflow through it is amazing. I'm 6'1", 195 lbs with broad shoulders and a small waist and the XL fit nicely. It would probably be a little snug in the chest (I'm a 44") but I don't intend to wear anything but a t-shirt or a short-sleeved shirt under it during the summer. I did try it on with a medium weight, long-sleeve pullover and the jacket still fit without being too restrictive. I expect this jacket will do exactly what it's intended to do- be a "carrier" for the armor but as breathable as possible. David in LeatherUp's customer service was very responsive and great to work with! Thank you.

This is a good basic jacket. The Pros...it breathes very very well It was 90 today and sunny and when moving the jacket allowed sufficient air such that I very comfortable. When stopped at a light it gets a little warm but I never broke a sweat. It comes with elbow, shoulder, and back pads and feels like a jacket well put together. Good hearty zipper and Velcro. Waist, chest, and arms adjustments, and a crew neck fit at the collar. The jacket runs a little small. I stand 6'3" 225 lbs so I ordered the XXL. I will be able to wear a fleece and fleece lined windbreaker underneath but not much else. Arm length is sufficient.

Cons...The jacket is a little short as it just makes it over the top of my riding pants but is still comfortable. The arm adjustments are necessary as the elbow pads don't really line up that well. The jacket feels constructed well enough. The material is a weave and will Frey easily if caught on a rough surface or especially against Velcro not enough to adversely affect functionality however. There is only one inside pocket and the two outer pockets are shallow.

All in all at this price point it is a good value and provides the basics for a riding jacket for moderate to warm weather riding. I would recommend to anyone looking for an entry level warm weather jacket. I will get lots of wear out of this purchase.
