I am 5' 9", and 185 pounds. I wear 34/32" to 36/32" jeans. If you have athletic or larger thighs, go by the thigh measurement -- I'm glad I did. I ordered the 38" waist/26" thigh, and even though the waist was way too big, the thighs are snug. I measured my thighs at around 24". I'll have to put another hole in the belt, and they should stay up on my waist, then.

As far as quality is concerned, you simply cannot find a better pair of chaps for anywhere NEAR this price. I ride all year in Nebraska. They kept my legs warm in subzero windchills on the Interstate. I would recommend these to anybody.

I'm a female, roughly 5'1" and 130lbs. These were a little long for me and slighly too big around the waist. You have space to tighten from the back and can make another hole in the front. If you know someone who sews, you can trim without freying from the bottom and cut, rehole and re tie the leather strap in the back. These are made for easy fix if theyre too big. The leather is nice and soft so you wont need to wear them while cleaning house for weeks before riding to break in the lether before youre able to move. I'm extremely satisfied with these and can not wear them on the road. Definetely reccomended and the price is unbeatable! :)

This was an excellent buy! I'm very happy with these chaps Grateful for the zipper and the snaps. These pants are made for tall people but can be cut for a short person too. Very versatile. You can't buy a better pair of chaps for the price. I am female an just under 5 ft tall. They were long enough to where I could cut them off just below the top snap to fit me properly - and the thigh zipper goes just below my ankle. They are perfect! Highly recommend. -And prompt delivery too.

good value (quality vs price) HOWEVER the sizing makes no sense to me. I ordered 32" because I have a 33" waist and 32 jeans fit me fine. I was a little worried because some of these reviews say order a larger size. ??? What the heck! Maybe back in 2008 when they were made in a different country. Now they come from Pakastan and the sizes are crazy wrong. On the tightest hole on the belt and the back cinched up all the way together they are still about 38" instead of a true waist size of 32". Since they expand in the back they could go all the way up to 43" in the waist but the thigh would be so tight at 23". LeatherUp only seems concerned with the inseam and length. Who cares about that since you cut chaps off any way. They have been very difficult to work with on the exchange. I sent them back with their form and 10 days AFTER tracking shows they received them they still have taken no action to replace / swap / exchange them. I hope they can read a US tape measure because they are far from being 32". I'm disappointed primarily in their lack of concern or response to my return.
