I was a bit skeptical about how the controls would feel with gloves like this. My non-lined warmer weather gloves didn't feel right until I broke them in (they feel great now) so I thought these might be a problem in that regard. I was wrong! These are great. The worksmanhip is 1st class. The deer skin is so soft and supple that movement is very good. In fact, they feel great on the controls but I did wear them for a hour or to while clenching my fist, etc., to break them in a bit. The gauntlet detaches and attaches very easily and it provides a nice option. The inner sides of the index and middle fingers as well as the crotch of the thumb and index finger is lined with a friction material to give you a good grip on the controls which is a very nice touch. On a side note, I now have Xelement boots, an Xelement vest, and these gloves and I am more than impressed with the quality of this brand's products. In fact, I couldn't be happier. They are a great value and would be a great value at even a substantially higher price due to their fine quality.

I should say that I haven't worn these gloves in cold weather yet so I can't comment on how warm they are but, judging from what I see, I can't see that that will be a problem. Also, I can't comment on durability but, again, they are so well-made that I expect I'll be handing these down to my son or grandsons.

These should make excellent regular winter gloves they should be good for use when using my snowblower so they don't have to sit out the winter months.

These are gloves are all I had hoped and more. The leather has a great, soft finish and the fit is perfect. The company also stands behind their product. When I tried the first one on, there was a small defect inside with the liner. I took a picture and emailed customer service. I had the replacement even quicker than I got the original! This company is a reasonably priced and viable alternative to the reliable, but overpriced leather products we all know are out there. I will be back for more: regularly!

These seem to be good gloves for the money. I thought they were going to be too small, but used them on a short ride (17 mi) and they were comfortable. It was a hot day, and my hands stayed cool. I'm a little concerned about how much protection they would provide, but they're obviously a lot better than nothing. One styling note: the mesh part is a much lighter silver color than it appears in the photo. The photo looks better in my opinion, but I decided to keep the gloves anyway. All in all a good buy.
