Okay, I love these boots -- but I ordered by normal size and they were way too tight -- could barely get my foot in. Normally a 10. I sent that pair back and ordered an 11. The 11 fits well -- and room for an extra pair of socks on cold days. They feel and fit great, look cool
Functionable boots. The toe-box was a little small (short and narrow) out of the box, but they are starting to break in after a week of wearing them everyday. They seem very sturdy, the cambrelle lining is a pluse, and the side zipper is made of a strong quality metal. I tried to remove the gaudy logo from the side of the boot, but it seems set on staying in place. Other than that, this seems like a good purchase.
Great for large caliber firearms and a lot of pocket space for carrying other things. Very satisfied with shipping.
Really comfortable, I walked a whole bike show in them.
It was good that my friend already had a pair so I knew to buy them a half size smaller. Rubber toe patch protects the boot and gives a sense of positive feedback. Sometimes while hanging out I've had the velcro slip because it caught on a curb or something else I was using to prop up my feet but never had it happen on the bike.

The boots look really nice and are of good quality but run super small. I normally wear a size 10 1/2 in boots and I could barely get my foot inside these boots. Hopefully a size 12 will be the size for me.

First time that I ordered from leather up and I am not dissapointed!Delivery was fast and these boots are really cool looking!Will be back..keep it up leather up!
My opinion of these boots is based on two things: my assumption that they would be "true to size" (which they definitely are NOT) and me being accustomed to having laced boots.
Pros:
- Aesthetically, these boots are fantastic. They look solid, stylish, and heavy-duty, and I've received plenty of compliments about them. Not too gaudy or aggressive for motorcycle boots, may fit many occasions, and still sleek and simple.
- Gear shifting with the stitched-in, top rubber area took all but 5 minutes to get used to, and is preferable to my old set from Big 5.
- Despite a few loose threads and the use of Velcro, they are very durable.
- Finally, as you can see, the heel is big and subtle. These boots will make you 2" taller, easily.
Cons:
- These boots do not fit true to size. I ordered a size 9.5 (I vary between 9.5 and 10) and I've poured a good $40 in Dr. Scholl's padding and Velcro just to get them to fit, increasing my height by another inch. I'd say go with a size/size.5 smaller than what you normally get.
- Without laces, they will fit differently. There is a zipper, a good-sized Velcro fastener on the back, and a Velcro strap that doesn't do much besides look cool. However, my ankles do run smaller than normal.
- Unfortunately, Leatherup's strict return policy prevented me from doing just that. Make sure to test wear them on carpet for a LONG time (1-2 hours), and do not be afraid to bite the bullet and send them back if you have to.
- They run heavy. Not the ideal type of boots that you would wear if you plan on working on your feet for more than a couple hours.
If you learn from my mistakes regarding returning and sizing, these boots can be a highly enjoyable, impressive looking 5-star investment, especially for $70.
These boots are very comfortable and fit well. They do get hot but not sweaty or uncomfortable in 80 degree weather. I really like the convenience of the zippers. I set the Velcro to a comfortable snugness and only use the zippers to get the boots on and off.
just rode under 1k miles, boots did fine.not bad for a boot(shoe) purchased without fitting. still feel gawky walking with them. ordered half size larger maybe the walking problem.i like wiggleing my toes when riding. the boots doing its job. Rocky
Great boots. Durable and great fitting. The fit is perfect. Ordered normal shoe size and it worked out just right. Love the nylon patch across the top of toe. Less scuffing when shifting. Only problem is the smaller velcro strap tends to work itself lose. Not a big deal since they are overall a great buy.
Great so far...though my feet get a little warm in them. they are a good value.
These boots rock, I get compliments on them each time I wear them..perfect for the bike, no problems with the shifter. The run a bit narrow, but true to size, broke them in good after a week, feel like an old favorite pair of boots..almost forgot, check the heel, and drive the nails in a little further so the wife don't yell at you for scratching the floor..(not that it happened to me, I'm jus sayin')

I received these boots three days before a 3-day, 1,000 mile ride. It took about an hour for the leather to soften up a bit. I bought them .5 size larger than normal since I have a wide foot, and I'm very happy with the fit. In fact, there is just a bit of wiggle room in there now, and I may get a more comfortable insole. The boots are not uncomfortable. In fact, they really feel great while walking around and riding. However, I wear them all day when I ride my bike to work, and after a while my feet do get tired of them. Otherwise, they still look great after two weeks. The feel good. And they kept my feet bone dry while twice riding in the rain on my ride. At one point I was riding through water on the road that had my toes dragging in the water. I was completely soaked, but my feet inside the boots were great. I really like these boots. Exactly what I was looking for.
these are hands down the best boots ive ever worn. they broke in very quickly and have nice arch support. i fouind the size of the boot to run very true. i wear a 12... i ordered a 12.... it fit perfect.!!!!!these boots are well made and heavy but i wouldnt be scared to wear them to a rally or show where id have to walk alot.

Great Looking boot!! I have had many complements on the boot. Size was right on. Leather quality surprised me. It is a good quality. I really like how the shift pad is actually sewn on and not necessary a part of the leather. The front pad above the ankle also makes it vern nice when bending your foot you dont get a leather rub or any rubbing areas. Thanks for being a great product and fantastic survice!
Pros: Good construction, nice looking, good sole.
Cons: Zipper lets air into the boot while riding. Bad in cold weather. Zero padding on insole. Heel is big and makes it difficult to move my foot from under the shift lever after shifting.
