Just got my Xelement XS-5890 Armored Black Leather Classic Biker Jacket in. I am very impressed by the leather and workmanship. The fit is right on and looks "old school" for sure. I don't care for the length of the belt and will have to prune a few inches off the buckle end, but other than that...great jacket for the money!
Leatherup did a great job getting this right out to me. Thick, heavy coat perfect for the cool days of Fall. The belt is very long, in fact too long and I'm on the very last hole. May have to have a couple more put in. The armor moves around a little bit in the elbows, will have to see how that works out. Very comfortable, heavy zippers and has a good look to it. Appears to be high quality. I looked at Harley Davidson leather jackets previous to this, didn't appear to be any better and cost about 4 times as much!
In 50 years of riding I have owned many bikes, and a lot of leather. This jacket is the best value I have ever seen. Top quality leather, great protection, and very attractive classic design. Add the fast service that is provided by LeatherUp.com and I don't think you will beat it anywhere. I very seldom give 5 stars for even the best, but this is exceptional. Thank you LeatherUp.

Inches so it doesn't ride up your arms. I am 6 feet and a worked out 215lbs.with a 47 inch chest. I ordered the XL and it fits perfectly. I loosened the side panels and can easily layer up. Very nice looking jacket

After reading reviews, wanted to buy this for Christmas for my hubby--was out of stock but did finally get it. AWESOME is the only word to describe it. Fit great, looks even better. VERY pleased with the jacket. the belt is a bit long & could have more holes to cinch in bottom more but that's the only con to this jacket. Will come back to Leatherup for all our accessory needs/want. Fast delivery too.

The jacket is perfect! The sleeves are long enough for my 6.5" boyfriend who can never find clothing with long sleeves. The quality workmanship and high-grade leather is beautiful. I was skeptical at first because I worked for Wilsons Leather at one time and the price seemed too low for the quality touted in the reviews but somehow this company provides high quality at a low price. FIT ALERT: My bf is between a Large and XL slim so I ordered the XL and can tell it will fit perfectly...we'll know at Xmas since this is one of his gifts! :)
I bought this coat for my husband as a christmas gift. I ordered a 3x after reading all the reviews. He wears a 2x. It fits good. The sleeves could be a little longer when he stretches his arms forward. The sleeves come up past his wrist bone, but it's works for him. Overall he really likes it. The price was the best.
I've had mine for a couple of weeks now, and I'm very pleased with it. It's pretty heavy, and like other reviewers I found the sleeves a tad long with my arms at my side but just right with my hands on the bars, The belt is too long, but for $10 I had a local shoe/boot repair shop take a couple of inches out of it. If you're on the fence about it, get one and you won't be disappointed. I'm 6 feet, 185 lbs and got a large, it fits well.
I have to give Leather up five stars. I placed my order on Monday and recieved it on Friday morning before I even got out of bed. This jacket is top shelf. Nice YKK zippers. Nice construction. I am 6'1" 260 lbs. I have a 52" chest and ordered the xxx. It fit great and like all others the belt is a bit long. I really like the length of the arms. They wont be up to my elbows when I ride. The best thing about this jacket is my Wife thinks I look great in it.This is a perfect match to my Xelement 10 pocket riding vest... Willson leather has nothing on LEATHER UP..

Love this leather jacket!!! I'm 5'10", 200 lbs and the XL fits perfect. Yes, just like the other reviews say, the belt is a bit long but not a big deal at all. The jacket is heavy and I plan on wearing it for my long trips. Too many people texting and not paying attention so protection is a must. I have a lighter level 3 jacket for around the town riding that I purchased from Leatherup last year. Great Jacket!

The Jacket is put together very well, with very heavy Buffalo hide. I was surprised at how heavy the jacket really was. The zip out liner is a great feature you don't see in many jackets. Overall, the jacket is great. I also like the pads built into the jacket. I am looking forward to buying again from leatherup .com.

I was skeptical at what the quality of leather would be at this price. I sold mens clothing for 20 years and have to say thiis jacket ranks up there with $400-$600 leather jackets we used to sell at May Company! I also just received a pair of Exelement boots, chaps for momma and gloves for me and they are all of superior quality.
I don't usually buy clothing online, but took a chance on this jacket, and I am really glad I did. Excellent leather, quality, and construction, and just what I was looking for in terms of features and style. I'm 6' and about 205 lbs. and usually wear a L, so I ordered an XL. It fits very well. It is a heavy jacket, but quite comfortable, especially when riding. The leather really started to soften up nicely after just a few rides.
And also, even though it was well into the afternoon, Leatherup shipped my order the same day and I had it a couple of days later. This was my first order from Leatherup, and I have since placed and received another order. They will definitely continue to receive my business.
Exceptional quality. Leather is thick and soft. Only problem I have had was the zipper on the lining is composite, not metal. and failed right away. Other than that, love it.
People said to order larger than you need and it turns out to be little larger than I needed.
It is nice though the lining does not keep upper arms warm.
Bicep is the only thing that gets cold.
The style of the jacket is best of any rider jackets I've seen, imo.
I just love the look. With the thick leather, lining and armor this thing feels like an extra 50 lbs.
Considering the safety factor and extra warmth I tend to think it's well wroth it.
