I am so disappointed with my recent purchase because I haven't had a bad experience with Lazada - UNTIL NOW. Within a month, I placed 4 orders and 3 out of them turned out okay.
But on my 4th transaction, I ordered a set of makeup brushes and it was stated in the website that the set includes 32 brushes, but when I opened the package, it was missing 2 brushes (1 blush brush and 1 pointy brush)! I was contemplating to have it replaced or just return it but seeing how returns and replacements are handled by Lazada, I'd rather not because it would be too much of a hassle! Poor customer service and poor product inspection! I bet they don't really check the quality (and the quantity) of products.
What a shame! Never buying from this website AGAIN.

I ordered a tablet on 7 May, costing PHP6500. They delivered a set of make-up brushes worth about 50 pesos. I returned it, they processed a voucher refund, so I re-ordered. This time, they delivered a cheap plastic clock. I refused delivery. Since then, I've had two chat sessions, both times they've promised that the cancellation would be processed within 24-48 hours, but it's still showing as "shipping". Right now, I'm in the queue for chat for nobody's there. They seem to have a serious problem handling expensive items, and an even more serious problem handling customer service, now that there are no humans involved at their end.

Nag order ako nung revolution sale, tpos na delay ng two weeks yung delivery, nang dumating maling item at hindi umaandar, so i returned it. Nung binalik na, sabi naman hindi na available yung item, pero kung titignan ko sa website available pa naman. Sabi nang CS bibigyan ako ang refund via voucher, until now wala pa run. Hassle talaga! Pang bday gift yun, e natapos na ang birthday, palpak pa.

PLEASE cancel my order (*******). I already cancelled my order but still got messages that my order is being shipped. On the first day of my order, I got a text message to verify my order in my mail but NEVER got any & I checked my lazada account orders but it says that I didn't order anything. I don't want to order something that it's not clear, I tried calling and messaging lazada lots of times for clarifications, ALMOST EVERYDAY but got none for my cancelations. Please improve.

I ordered from Lazada #******* and i returned it for a replacement last Oct 16 or so. I can't remember because its been so long already. They told me several times on customer services calls that my order will be inspected within 24-48 hours by their team, they said that the first time i called, and they said that the last time i called. How many 24-48 hours do you guys actually need? I've lost count of the times I called your customer service. I was hoping to get a replacement on my item since it had incomplete parts, but now I just want a freaking refund because of how ludicrous the service is. Even now i Have to continuously call them just to give me my money back. I ordered last OCTOBER, its almost DECEMBER. They keep telling me theyll update me when my refund is cleared but i always have to keep calling lazada for an update. This just sucks.
Update it was another three weeks After this post that i got my refund, spent more on phone bills than what i got back from my refund

I ordered during the Online Revolution last Nov 11. The said item was supposed to arrive by 19-20 November 2015, but up to now, it has not arrived. I already called the hotline number of LAZADA five times just to get assurances that my item will be delivered on this and that date. But up to now (25 November), it has not arrived.
I was amazed at their delivery service when I ordered last year because it arrived the same day that I ordered. I am very disappointed now with what happened.

Up until now, I haven't heard back from ANYONE from your company regarding the status of my refund. It's been a month since I returned the blender to you and up until now, you still haven't processed anything. Is this how you do business?
If this refund is not processed within this week, I will file a complaint with DTI. You guys are seriously awful and for the worst reasons:
(1) You don't sync with your partners. LBC asked me to put the blender inside a tupperware-like container before I ship it back to you. Seriously? Did you ship the blender to me with that package? Did you know how much that would cost me and do you think you'd return it back? NO way I am spending more for a blender that doesn't work.
(2) I returned the item to you and I didn't get any acknowledgement email/call/SMS. So how would I know if you actually got what I returned?
(3) No updates or whatsoever. So you inspected the item, found it was indeed defective and DIDN'T email/sms/call me back.
(4) Your customer service people are lousy. You keep promises you don't keep--even your supervisors do that. NOBODY WITHIN YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE COMPANY OWNS THE ISSUE and I, being the unfortunate customer, is left spending credits to call your company and being bounced around from one unhelpful representative to another, and from one irresponsible supervisor to another.
(5) Promise to call back but never does. So what's the status now? I'VE HEARD 10 PROMISES OF GETTING A CALL BACK BUT HAVEN'T GOTTEN ANY."

Summary: In my 6 total orders (over the course of 3 years) from Lazada, 2 of them failed miserably including this one. So if you order expect a 33% chance of failure - which includes frustration, dealing with unprofessional people and false hope.
[Update 11/27] This will be my final update about this issue, Until now my order has not yet arrived. Walang kwentang kausap ang lazada. I just got a call from them but I missed it, I called that number back and the person that answered told me that she will call me back after a while. She never did.
[Update 11/25] so i got a call from their social media department yesterday and they "said" they will call me back today. No call.
[Update 11/24] So I emailed them the 4th time and apparently, the item is still in PROCESS. It was already verified and processed weeks ago, I even got an email 12 days ago that my item has already been shipped. How many processes does it take lazada?
[original review] It's like talking to a robot, answers were generic, I doubt they really looked into the order's status. My item was shipped 10 days ago, and I was scheduled to receive it last week. What's worse is that my item was shipped by LEX but the customer service rep that emailed me keep saying LBC will text me. What is going on?!
The alcatel flash 2 I got had dead pixels. Returned it via LBC and waiting for replacement... hopefully

Answer: Katherine, since you already placed your order, there's nothing you can do but wait - so don't worry! (Be happy!) When it arrives and it's not up to your expectations, then you can return it (hopefully you shouldn't have a problem with the return). So just relax!
Answer: No no no if your paying cod dont worry about 6 hour nonsense just email customer service and tell them you wish to cancel i have done this many times mainly becouse they give me a date for delivery and i order on that basis if they go over this date by one week i cancel becouse they are in breacth of conttrac thats to say i ordered the goods due to the fast delivery time and please dont be rude to the guy delivering to you its not his fault im not interested is just pig ignorant just tell the guy sorry but i cancelled the order hope this helps

Answer: You can access them thru phone or email en they were answer you back quickly. Some times some orders taking so long is b'coz of the availabilty of the product. Lazada will keep you updated but expect delays during christmas rush...

Answer: No, they don't. I have tried it once (I live in LA). Btw there's no reason to try. You can always just get the same service (only 1000 times better) with Amazon.com.
Answer: You can't tell from online usually. It's why have to purchase from reputable reliable vendors. Someone selling knockoffs, counterfeit and fake products will usually use the OEM specifications and often use the original OEM photos. I always read comments, reviews and most anything else about a seller/vendor to get an idea about what previous buyers had to say. I also look at the OEM website for a list of authorized dealers. Of course there is the "gray market" as well. Vendors who import authentic phones but they are not authorized so they wont have the OEM Manufacturers warranty. Many of these sellers/shops offer an in-house warranty and will repair phones in their own shop. Just realize they won't stock parts so even if they are decent people you may wait weeks for repairs to be completed. Most authorized dealers and repair shops will often just give you a replacement phone (usually remanufactured in pristine condition) or, if a simple repair, may have the parts in-stock. So your best bet is either use an authorized dealer or research to find one of the reliable 3rd party sellers. As the old adage (saying) goes "if it looks too good to be true, it probably isn't. If the price is well below what an authorized dealer or reputable shop, then it's likely it's not an original phone. You may have to save up a little longer to buy but in the long run its usually worth the extra money. Finally, I often look at the OEMs who either sell directly or use one of the bigger retail or online websites (for example, Lazada selling Xiaomi smartphones. At least you are dealing with a seller with written guarantees and refund/return policies that (somewhat) protect the Buyer. The only alternative is to either buy the lowest cost phones that won't break your savings if they break quickly OR buy from one of the Mobile Carriers (Smart, Globe, etc) Hope this helps. Good luck.
