Great reliable service

The service was fast and easy to use. I was out doing errands in the morning and when I returned in the afternoon, the grass was already mowed! They did a fantastic job. I would defiantly be using this service again.

My beautiful yard is back!

Their contractor made sure he cleared out all of the nasty weeds next to the garage, and then he used an edger around the sidewalk. Spectacular work, so glad I used them, and I will have them out again in the future!

Rude Customer Service

I tried using this service 2 separate times, both without success. When I canceled the order the second time, I received the following rude message from customer service.

LawnMowingOnline Support, Sep 24,18:32:
We do not have slaves, if you order again add tips everyday to fairly compensate the contractors in the area.

I added a tip to my original order & was fairly compensating in my area. I have contracted lawn care services for the past 3 years, so I'm more than familiar with fair compensation.

You admit you have never had a successful order but you've tried twice. Clearly you're not offering the contractors in your area a fair amount if this keeps happening to only you but everyone else is getting their lawn mowed. If you do not want to offer enough to have your lawn mowed in your area then please, never order again. LawnMowingOnline does not have the ability to "force" someone to mow your lawn like you would apparently want us to do. Like it says, they are not slaves, they need to be paid a fair wage and you refuse to offer them a fair wage.

Okay so, a friend of mine recommended this service and I was ecstatic. I placed my order this Wednesday for the following day (yesterday) and the job was accepted. Well yesterday came and went with no lawn mowed or response from the contractor. I messaged them again this afternoon and was told he will be there within the hour (around 4pm). He showed up at 6:30 and when he disappeared I looked out to see he missed several areas that still needed weed eating, the grass was left uneven in areas & there is still grass all over my sidewalk and porch! I also sent a message to support this morning letting them know the situation. I just received a message from them saying "work it out with the contractor, looks like they have been sending you messages today". I don't know about you, but I found this to be callous and felt like they don't want to be bothered. What type of business does this?

Work it out with the contractor. That means exactly what it says. If you bothered to wait a few minutes before running all over the internet complaining you would have seen the contractor already replied: I'm sorry for that when he gets in I'll. Make sure he's back there in the morning to correct the problem. Don't worry we'll fix it.

Poor customer service

I used them twice so far and was fairly satisfied. Last weekend I tried again and my request was immediately canceled by them. I tried again (paying $22 each time through PayPal), and it was canceled again. No email, no explanation, so I emailed their customer service (haha) and then initiated a PayPal dispute. They accused me of lying about the size of my yard, claiming I had an acre of yard. HAHAHA... I mean, i live in an urban neighborhood of small lots! Anyway, they said they get their information from Zillow, which, as someone who just completed the home buying process, I can tell you Zillow information is almost never correct. Anyway, I sent them screen shots of the Dekalb county tax assessor plot information that shows it's only 60x210, no where near an acre. The issue is that they just outright called me a liar without emailing or asking me about the "discrepancy" first. Plus they are keeping $44 tied up that I now need to buy a new lawn mower haha.

Customer ban from website for repeatedly lying about property size. 1665 Cecile Ave SE 30316 is 43560 sq ft. Order page automatically selected correct size. Customer then changes size to less than 10,890 sq ft which reduces the price by $25. We can not mow 43,560 sq ft for the price of less than 10,890 sq ft. The contractors must be paid for the work the contractor is providing and it's not fair for this customer to think they should get a lot more service than what they are paying for. That is like paying for 1 pizza but wanting 4 pizzas to be delivered. That's not possible, where does this person shop that they think that is how things should work? I wonder if they would be happy if their boss told him they want him to do the same amount of work, but get paid 1/4th the price. Probably not, but that is what this customer is expecting from the contractors on LawnMowingOnline.com

Lawn Mowing Online is an awesome service! For a single mom with almost all her kids grown and moved out it is perfect for me to order online and have someone out within a day or two to cut my grass! The contractors do a great job and the prices are perfect for me!

I've been using this site for a couple years now. I found lawnmowingonline.com because I moved into my own house, but I hadn't purchased a mower yet. And now after using the site for the last few season, I don't EVER plan on buying a mower! You can't beat the convienence or price for mowing and trimming. The ordering process is relatively easy, I can even use my iPhone to place an order and re-order because it saves my order info. I use Paypal for payments which gives me peace of mind that the transaction is secure and I don't have to meet anyone to pay with cash or check. I get text messages and emails when my order is placed, when a contractor accepts the job, and when the order is completed. My parents are using the service now too. It is really good for them because they have rental property in addition to their own home. I love lawnmowingonline.com and I think so many people would save time and money by hiring them.

Very impressive! The guy who mowed our lawn did a better job than any other service we've paid for, and you can't beat $19. The best part was how quickly the contractor came. We booked the night before, and our yard was done by the next afternoon. I don't think we'll find a better value elsewhere, so we're definitely going to use this service again.

I was having trouble finding a company that would just mow my lawn and at a reasonable price. Every one wanted me to fertilize or do expensive weed treatments. I came here to LawnMowingOnline.com and it wasn't just reasonable, it was fast. I was skeptical. But, when I got home from work the next day, my lawn looked beautiful. I can't thank you enough. Now, I can just enjoy my weekend.

Impressive service!

My yard needed mowing badly, and I had no time to do it. I found LawnMowingOnline in a Craigslist and went to the site; in a matter of minutes had scheduled my job for the next day. The contractor came and did a beautiful job! Will definitely use this site again.

Just want to let everyone know, the customer service is subpar and discourteous as can be. When I wrote in to ask about the cancellation policy, apparently there is a $15 cancellation policy that is buried in the Terms of Service, the customer service rep wrote back "Yes, that is what you agreed to in the TOS," and left it at that. No explanation, no apology that it wasn't actually displayed on the "Cancellation" Tab on the front page or anywhere that a customer typically reads. Additionally, they have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, yet when I am dissatisfied, that guarantee apparently doesn't apply to me. Long story short, BE WARNED, there is a hidden cancellation fee of $15 if you try canceling within 2 days of posting the job, even if you try to cancel before anyone has accepted the job. Never recommending this company again.

24. I placed a order and quickly cancelled and was charged a $15 fee, what was the fee for?
A: Cancellation fees are very common in service industry type businesses. Doctors, dentists, hair salons, moving companies and many other businesses charge fees if a appointment is cancelled within a certain time frame of when the service is being provided. So we adopted the same polices that those businesses do. If a person schedules services and cancels within 2 business days of the order being placed LawnMowingOnline reserves the right to charge a $15 fee. The policy has worked exactly as expected, more orders are getting accepted and mowed and fewer orders are being cancelled. Avoiding this fee is simple, just do not cancel within 2 business days of scheduling service. For example, if you order May 1st for mowing on May 2nd, do not cancel on May 1st, May 2nd (1 day) or May 3rd (2 days). The order can be cancelled on May 4th (3 days since May 1st) and there will be no fee. Of course by then the order will likely be accepted by a contractor and already mowed so there would no longer be any reason to cancel.

To make sure every customer knows about the cancellation fee it is listed in 2 places. It is listed on the Terms of Service page that all customers agree to before placing an order and the cancellation fee is explained in bold text and underlined on the cancellation page that all customers must fill out to cancel an order.

I think Lawnmowingonline is the best thing to ever happen for people who need lawn service right away and for those who are not able to manage there lawns! I like it cause I can choose witch job I want to except or not except and I get paid for every job I do who ever came up with this lawnmowingonline is a very smart person!
