Tried using this site. Job remained pending for 48 hours... Once we tried to cancel they would only refund a "portion" of our money. Impossible to reach the company. They don't respond to emails. There's no phone number. Complete rip off... Use someone local and do your own research. Don't use these bogus websites.
These company is the real deal!. I have used them in the past and I was not disappointed. One of the many things I like about them is they keep you posted on everything from beginning to end. I definitely recommend them!
When I started this service, it was pretty decent. As it went on, the worse and worse it got. Had a contractor mow over a irrigation hose and not inform me that he did. I found the hose in the lawn and have yet to have it replaced. Another incident, I had a simple request to just use a bagged lawn mower and got harassed not only by the contractor but the support of the website. They've been extremely rude and unprofessional. I will never recommend this business to anyone. The quality of the mowing greatly varies per contractor and there is no established line of quality. Do not try to contact their support about anything, as mentioned previously, unprofessional and rude.

Oh and also, as I mentioned to Andy, everyone previous has had no issues with my request for a lawn mower that has the attached bag. Which a majority of your lawn mowers have, the request is easy and simple. I'm not requesting to have it bagged after the fact its mowed.

I am renting a home and am responsible for lawn care. I live in a drought prone area so I don't need biweekly mowing. All of the local services wanted a minimum biweekly commitment and their rates were a little high. I wanted to find a local person, and to be able to schedule mowing as needed. This site provides that connection, so I'm not blindly searching on Craigslist. It also ensures secure and convenient electronic payment. The service was fantastic, fast and I plan to use it again when needed.

On 01/03/16 I ordered a mowing service and paid $22 to lawn mowingonline.com. Nobody accepted the job so, as per the websites suggestion, on 01/07/16 I added an additional $4 tip to the job. Still, nobody accepted the job and my lawn was never mowed.
On 01/11/16, I gave up and went to the Lawnmowingonline.com website and requested a refund for the job, which I typed in should include the $22 initial payment and $4 tip. On 01/22/16 only a refund for $22 was returned.
I reached out to the owner to ask why he couldn't just take the time to actually read my refund request and return both payments? A customer shouldn't have to stay on top of a business and wait over 2 weeks for refund. Owner sent an irate response, suspended my account and cussed at me telling me to F--- off. The $4 has still not be returned and it's clear the owner has no intention of doing the right thing.
This business is clearly a side gig that is run without an ounce of professionalism - you should NOT to business with this guy.
Customer requested a refund on a order that was placed. The order was refunded, but the tip that was added later was mistakenly not refunded. Rather than contacting support or filling out a refund request, the customer went straight to the credit card processor to complain. Unfortunately the credit card processor withholds the payment while they do an investigation that takes weeks whenever a complaint is filed. As with previous complaints, LawnMowingOnline advises that customers never go to the credit card processor, always try to contact support if there is a problem. After trying to work out the situation with the customer through our credit card processor the customer became hostile and angry, even resorting to typing in all caps. Due to this poor behavior on the customer's part their account has been ban from LawnMowingOnline and they have been advised to never order again. The $4 tip will be refunded when the credit card processor has concluded their investigation.

Lawnmowingonline.com really does amazing work, they're also fast, professional and very affordable. I'll only be using them from now on, I only wish I found them sooner. We've used them 3 times and 3 times excellent work! They are like lawn ninjas, in & out while we're at work. Our lawn is cleaner and neater than we could ever do! During the busy Summer season you may have to be a little patient but you will get a contractor relatively soon after your requested date. During the slower season, you can bet someone will accept your proposed date! Every time we've come home to an impeccable yard, front and back! Definitely leave a tip, as yard work is hard work and they do a great job! We don't have a lawn mower but even if we did, we'd probably use them anyway! They're that good! :)
You can't go wrong with Lawn Mowing Online.com. They have a very friendly and professional staff. Their job is done in a timely manner and the work is great. Their prices are reasonable and scheduling a job with them is a breeze. You can even schedule a job at a later date with no problems.
A contractor was quick to accept my request and the lawn care crew showed up the very next day! His crew did an incredible job with my lawn. They followed all of my instructions and were prompt and courteous. I highly recommend!

24. I placed a order and quickly cancelled and was charged a $15 fee, what was the fee for?
A: Cancellation fees are very common in service industry type businesses. Doctors, dentists, hair salons, moving companies and many other businesses charge fees if a appointment is cancelled within a certain time frame of when the service is being provided. So we adopted the same polices that those businesses do. If a person schedules services and cancels within 2 business days of the order being placed LawnMowingOnline reserves the right to charge a $15 fee. The policy has worked exactly as expected, more orders are getting accepted and mowed and fewer orders are being cancelled. Avoiding this fee is simple, just do not cancel within 2 business days of scheduling service. For example, if you order May 1st for mowing on May 2nd, do not cancel on May 1st, May 2nd (1 day) or May 3rd (2 days). The order can be cancelled on May 4th (3 days since May 1st) and there will be no fee. Of course by then the order will likely be accepted by a contractor and already mowed so there would no longer be any reason to cancel.
To make sure every customer knows about the cancellation fee it is listed in 2 places. It is listed on the Terms of Service page that all customers agree to before placing an order and the cancellation fee is explained in bold text and underlined on the cancellation page that all customers must fill out to cancel an order.
